Gratz Phil! Would have liked to have been there to see it (if only because it would have meant I was getting the pet kills too!
), but v good to hear you made it anyway!
In the end did you farm, or go through missions? -
I'd be up for both of them, and more besides.
If it's a 6:00pm start I can only make Friday this week (this year for that matter); other weekday evenings I can make after 6:30-7:00pm, plus Friday pm and Saturday am.
-
Give us a chance, Kin - some of us are getting on and have failing eyesight. It takes us a while to notice threads that don't have key phrases like "TF" or "Ranger" in the subject...
Besides, most of us thought you were dead.
Excuses made, you will be missed - you were there when Persil was getting started, which wasn't that long since the game itself was launched in the UK, and we've teamed up with greater or lesser frequency ever since then. It won't be the same knowing you won't be about online anymore, with random requests for rezzes, someone to display your uberness to or simply someone to call a fiend for no good reason.
Best wishes in that real life lark (tried it, it has its uses but tends to be overrated on the whole), and will send you a means to get in touch if you want to.
Cheers Kin - it's been fun. -
Slightly belated gratz Pob!
(At least I got the right person this time, rather than someone else that happened to be using coalition chat at roughly the same time...)
-
Also unavailable Saturday, FWIW (Christmas do). Could make Sunday late pm/evening.
-
No problems Gil - that's only reasonable. I'll see who else is on when the time comes, and if there's a reasonable number perhaps have a go at that second team.
-
I think everyone concerned has been told in-game, but just in case...
This has now been postponed until 9:30pm (UK) owning to lack of several characters that were tied up in TFs and respecs (one in particular!).
-
Manf, haven't logged in as Stand since the start of the week, so didn't/wouldn't have noticed the email!
There are 7 confirmed people on the team, plus maybe Doulos who's said he might be able to make it in-game, but wasn't sure. If D can I'm afraid that's 8.
If he or anyone else doesn't show up, though you're 1st reserve and in.
(Don't mention the 1st reserve business to Deluge, OK? He's had problems with related things in the past. (Sorry Del!))
-
Whichever you like Larac; with other team members the mobs are going to be seriously outlevelled anyway, so as far as mission success is concerned it won't matter which alt you play.
From past experience this should all be over in 5 minutes or so. -

For the love of god, don't streethunt them. Find someone with the Carnie arc, get it set for eight on Invincible and theres usually a Master Illusionist in every spawn. Much, much quicker.

If we want to take Q's advice (/em wary) I'm a few missions into Harvey Maylor's sequence - not sure if the arc's started yet, but they're all Carnie-based anyway. -

OOooOOoh this thing has my name written all over it

Only because you quadruple posted!
I'm on for this one too - badge and an Accolade element!
@Standoff, level 46 En/En Blaster -
I'd be up for this with my corruptor (details in sig).
-
A followup on this; still going ahead at the stated time.
Meeting place: Perez, Atlas Gate
Mission holder: Captain Pedant (I'll also be contactable on TC as @Standoff)
Requirements for joining: Absolutely none. It would be appreciated, though, if any higher level toons on the mission could make sure lowbies get safely to the mission door and back out of the [censored] maze afterwards. This isn't an xp-fest, so no need for exemping or anything - let's just get the badge asap and leave!
Note that as Aggravator pointed out for yesterday's run this mission is now failable - if the Fortune Teller gets beaten up by the CoT then only the mission-holder gets the badge. -
I'd be up for this if you can fit a blaster in.
May need to take a single 30-60 minute break at some point, but will be able to give plenty of warning and will be sure to be there for the AV takedown. -

Lovely looking kid youhave there. Looking forward to seeing the red and white rompersuit pictures.

How Del dresses in the privacy of his own bedroom is between him and his therapist. -
Aw, bless. /em soppy grin
And make the most of that "sleeps all the time" phase, as I suspect it won't last for long. -
Aw, bless and congrats, Del!
No PLing the little dear though, OK? -
Yep, another alt, another underground trip to rescue the Fortune Teller from the CoT wrongdoers.
There are 6 free spots on the mission for anyone that wants to come along - succeed and you get the "Spelunker" badge, which is a prerequisite for the ever-popular Atlas Medallion (+5 end).
Priority given to SNHS and Precision Ranger members, although given the draw of the Isles I suspect this one won't be as over-subscribed as usual.
Sign up here if you want a place! -
Well, we came, we saw, and over 6 or so hours we kicked enough posterier to get the arc finished! A few dicey moments, although I'm not sure we ever had a complete team wipe.
Big thanks to all who joined in through the afternoon - those already in the thread, plus:
J.Brute
Inspector Frost
Scapegoat
David Pyron
Rock Eagle
Mr Knockout
...and a good few more who I'm too forgetful to remember and haphazard to have noted down.
Biggest "Eeeeek!" moment of the session - definitely when Rock Eagle (our only tank at the time) got disconned pretty much on the instant we engaged Shadowhunter, leaving half-a-dozen squishies to take an AV as best they could.
Maria Jenkins will happen at some point, but I think I'll have a little rest before getting involved there.
Edit: Added a few more names, as memory cells sparked fitfully to life. -
Not necessarily - if Tech can't make it at 2:00pm then you're first on the reserve list, so you're in.
-
Ooops - sorry, my bad!
Looking at post times I suspect you made your post just after I'd gone through the thread noting all the names, but before I'd done the offline collation and put the team list up. After that I never noticed an uncounted body had slipped in...
You are, of course, very welcome, and if there's space in the team on the afternoon you're welcome as any of your alts. Apart from the Mastermind. -

I'd somehow gotten the impression Midevil Diamond was an empath, but from the power descriptions she's a D3; the Shadow Fall's potentially appealing but as you say will be a bit limited by virtue of level.

HE is a D3 yes

So far it's looking like we're well and truly full (12 people on the list), but if there's a bunch of no-shows and there turns out to be space on the day, Mr Knockout's welcome!
-
Thanks for the update G.
Raylin definitely looks like the preferred option then, IMHO - the extra powers, slots and SOs will make a big difference.

Raylin having a mob-based heal rather than a player-based heal is a bit of an advantage too, especially when the mob in question's an AV, and it's the meleeing tank that most needs the healing. -
