  1. All good points - look forward to seeing you next Monday (if not before) for some serious Council-bashing!
  2. ...oh yes, and...

A leaving do that opens with fun in Striga and IP might draw a few more attendees if it's advertised in the Heroes forum rather than the Villains one.
  3. Will be there (hopefully for the start at 19:00ish) to see you off Kin - by "Striga TF" you mean Moonfire rather than Hess, right?

In any event I'm sure I can find an alt up for it.
  4. All the best Kin - a great shame to see you go, but if that's what you feel it's time to do then have a great time over with the Walkers.

Hopefully see you again somewhere - here, there or wherever.

Well, as the 1AT boards seem to have temporarily died...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I blame it on... what's that n00b's name again?

    [/ QUOTE ]
We're talking 1AT here; you're going to have to narrow it down more than that.
  6. Go to your happy place DC, go to your happy place...
  7. Well, slotting Stamina for accuracy is certainly original.

Seriously, if you're going to take Stamina at all, take it earlier than 38 - Icicles is more a luxury than a necessity with CE already taken, I'd so postpone that, move everything else a pick earlier where possible and move Stam into the first gap opened up after 20.

I've found Energy Absorption to be a better End recharger than armour booster, so you might want to try swapping a DefBuf for an EndMod. It's a very good recharger too, so if you find that keeps you well enough topped up you can swap some of the attack EndReds for RecReds.

Along the same lines I'd swap an EndMod for a RecRed on Hibernate - you want it back up as soon as possible, and if you come out of it less than full of end you can always fire an EA (this will pull aggro back to you too - double bonus!).

Finally, Ice is a rather slow attack set - if you can squeeze Hasten in somewhere (drop Icicles?) that can help a lot.
  8. Whooooosh!!!!

    What was that?

Autumn Waltzz on the way to 50.

Big gratz to you Waltzz - will be with you as quickly as I can with Graf, as soon as the dust clears.
  9. I believe it's exactly the same as for the hazard zones; visit the appropriate exploration badge (even if it's one you've already picked up pre-beacon) while in SG mode.

Small piccies because of my cheapo Photobucket account; if anyone wants the 1280x1024 originals to host elsewhere, let me know.

    May I suggest http://imageshack.us/ ?

Free image hosting, No account required, no image size limits, just file size.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Cheers - will give that a look this evening.
  11. Excellent do, and here are some screenies:

    Bashing Tyrant

    Ding!!!!

    Mass poses after 1 2 3

And just the stars of the show (and maybe a 9th interloper)

Small piccies because of my cheapo Photobucket account; if anyone wants the 1280x1024 originals to host elsewhere, let me know.

Edit: Once more, gratz to all concerned!

P.S. I will be in Birmingham to say goodbye properly to those who wish so.

    [/ QUOTE ]

All the best Aisla - think we've teamed occasionally, and chatted a bit on the forums, and have always found you to be good company.

One thing I have to ask...Birmingham...LARP...you're not an ex-Brum Uni Trappy are you?
  13. Standoff

    Duel Rules??

    [ QUOTE ]
I still think the duel rules are:

    1) Let me win.
    or
    2) Don't your powerset.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Presumably you attack them while they're scratching their heads trying to work out what on earth that second rule means?
  14. Gratz Solar!

Now the difficult choice; blue/white or purple/black?
  15. Mega ooops - Dr Toerag's just Tell'ed me to ask if I'm really sure Plague Stopper's on the arc, I switched to my blaster to check, and...he already has it!

Good spot on Dr T's part, and my bad - I'd assumed it was part of the arc I caught plague on, and with nofuture down couldn't double check that.

Apologies for the let down, and will stay in-game for a bit so I can tell people as they come on if they don't see this.
  16. Sure - you can even SK Roentgen if you want, to save him having to go Purple Diving afterwards.

    Edit: Fixed typo. Damn Mondays.
  17. IIRC it uses similar (maybe the same) rules as mission bonuses; you need to be in "some" time before the end to get the final reward.

Re. keeping in sync with the regular team, if you get much xp you could do penance by suiciding in Talos and grabbing a bit of debt to even things up. Presumably with people faceplanting at different times there's a bit of divergence caused by debt already?
  18. Not a complete antique; maybe level 19-ish. As my blaster (level 21) I'd get a bit of xp; how a team did would depend on the levels of the toons you and Dr Toerag bring along.
  19. Let's give it a go. On my mark, synchronise watches...
  20. My low level blaster's got this rather late in his career (at 21, while clearing out old arcs), and in case any badge collectors are interested I thought I'd post it up here.

He already has the Vaz plague, his next mission's actually the "Stop Patient Zero" one, but I wasn't sure if this segues into the timed badge mission (and NoFuture's down) I thought I'd save Zero until we're all ready to go.

The missions are all grey/green anyway, so no need to worry about exemping if anyone high level wants in.

Post here, or show up in Steel at the specified time, for a spot.
  21. To have added that time in after the event I'd have had to have been doing HyperNinjaPirate editing - try editing the post you made yesterday evening and you'll find that you can't; they get locked 12 hours or so after their first appearance.

Normally I put times in the subject line, but the very fact that you can't edit posts after too long stopped me this time; I wasn't sure 6:00pm would be good for many people (hence the "provisional" in the OP), and didn't want it stuck in the headline confusing people if I had to change it later.

Next time I'm trying to organise a TF in similar circumstances I'll put the start time futher up the post, although TBH given the hassle/reward ratio for the recent TFs I've arranged I think I may give it a break for a while.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
Next time Stand, can you post the starting time more than 45 minutes before you head on out? I was too busy to get there for 6 .

    [/ QUOTE ]
Sure can. But...check the last line of the very first post I made to this thread on the 21st...
  23. OK, we got off to a flying start...then dashed back to Skyway for a restart...then dithered a bit and restarted again...and finally got into our stride.

    Thanks to:

    ICU
    Raging Valkyrie
    Solar Blitz
    Cosmic Protector
    Mutilator
    Raziel-DX
    X-Raze

for pwning all the clocks, and my cable modem for surviving the pint I split on it towards the end of the TF.
