Conserve Power does the job nicely, but is PB only, not for WSs - and it's only up for a fraction of the time, even fully slotted.
While it's up your end problems are over, but unless you want to spend a fair amount of time waiting for it to recharge it can't be used to fully replace Stamina. -
Not sure about WSs, but my tri-form PB needed it to be able to last even a single fight in human form. That might change at high levels when you can get some serious EndRed slotting in, but not in the 20s/30s (for me at least!).
-
Yep, a very good time - thanks again to all!
Wish I could make Sister P next weekend, but definitely can't...but you all go ahead without me. I'm sure you'll somehow cope.

I think there's a fine line between telling people what you're going to do, so they don't get any nasty surprises, and telling people how they're going to fit in with your plans for taking the mobs down.
Typed chat being as limited as it is, people can often take things as if you'd meant the latter even though you only intended the former. -

Only got online for a short while, CE was aggroing lieuts properly and they followed me for quite a long time, but cant say for sure if it was the taunt effect or just the debuff, since I didnt have any other player to test it with.
[/ QUOTE ]
that was the debuff, I tested v grey lts and they ran off. Invince is the easiest to see not working as it has no additional componant that effects mobs.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've found grey mobs running off even after an actual Taunt; I thought if you damaged something a lot lower than you it was inclined to flee, and that could override the effects of being taunted? Although presumably while the taunt effects lasts it isn't allowed to break off and attack someone else, it's fleeing or attacking you, and no 3rd option... -
From this post it looks like Cryptic/the devs might have a more general meaning of "Gauntlet" than the one players usually use.
They use it as a catch all that as well as the standard "when a tanker punches something" meaning also includes the effect of taunt auras - so the patch notes may be meant to mean auras are fixed too.
Cryptic's infamous for missing things off patch notes altogether; I guess dropping indirect clues would be an improvement of sorts. -

Standoff, send a /t in-game and i will check space and availability. Start looking around on our forums and get into the SG like a good little slave, i mean member

Hmmmm - is E.V.I.L. looking for recruits in the low 40s at the moment?
I've got the double-xp weekend pencilled in as a chance to push my villain main closer to 50, but at present he hasn't got a SG and I can see the advantages to be had for all concerned if large teams can be put together quickly.
The toon: Alathar, level 42 (almost 43 - will update the sig later) Dark/Dark Corruptor, reasonably flush so happy to play in SG mode from now on.
I'll be playing mainly Al until he hits the big 5-0, so it isn't just a 1 weekend fling I'm after. -
It lasted for ever, or longer, but in the end the heroes prevailed!
Thanks to all for a good team, with relatively very little faceplanting for Posi, much strategic humour and even the forces of natures unable to stop us!
And especially to Chilled Beast and Medical Woman for organising; Synapse next? -

Someone's sleeping on the sofa tonight.
Edit: Not sure I'll be able to make it, but if I can I'd be happy to bring Son of Santa, currently a level 11 Dark/Dark scrapper. I'll try to get him a bit higher before the weekend, as <gulp> we'll be facing 15+ mobs. With tank taunts only partly functional. -
As MaX says.
The only control options for Imps are (1) selecting the location you summon them at, and (2) dismissing them. And that's your lot. -
Here are the binds you asked about:
/bind NUMPAD1 "powexec_toggle_off bright nova$$powexec_toggle_off white dwarf$$goto_tray 1"
/bind NUMPAD2 "powexec_toggle_on bright nova$$goto_tray 4"
/bind NUMPAD3 "powexec_toggle_on white dwarf$$goto_tray 5"
...and another one for the hell of it; this switches you from squid to human and turns fly on, in case you want to do some heals and self buffs without landing on the head of whatever you're bombarding:
/bind V "powexec_toggle_off Bright Nova$$powexec_toggle_on Energy Flight$$goto_tray 1"
As far as what power appears at what level; if you run SherkSilver and hover your mouse over the power lists, you get "Available at level X" as a tooltip. -
Hurrah! Thanks - I'll put them with Grafite's and start my very own Monkeh army!
If there are any baby Monkehs I'll put an ad up in Player Questions and see if anyone wants to adopt. -

Cheers for the Boos though

Now I've said nice things about you, can I have your stuff? -
Boo! Not sure any of our toons have ever teamed, as I'm mostly a Union guy, but will miss you on the forums when the time comes to give your account a rest.
All the best for the real world in the meantime, especially with Babyfax, and (when you've actually gone) look forward to your return in I9!
-
No worries Dante - time-wise that was a fairly typical run for Synapse.
Thanks again for organising it, and the rest of the team (and anti-GM backup) for turning out - and commiserations for Pheonix in missing Babbage. -

Didn't they also claim changes wouldn't be made just for PvP? Oh, I can't remember and it's such an old argument.
[/ QUOTE ]
The oldies are the goodies.
There was a "unless we have to for balance reasons" caveat attached to that statement in its original form, although that said I seem to recall US red names also swearing blind PvP wasn't a factor even after the nerf.
Mind you, these are the same people that said "controllers were never meant to have more than one set of pets out at once", so I don't regard everything they say as utterly beyond doubt. -
At the risk of being boringly traditional, happy Christmas to you too RW, and everyone else on the boards!
Have a good one, and hope Santa's generous to you all! -

Nebulous Form != Quantum Flight
The Warshade Power simply switches off after 45 seconds, rather than the progressive end-increase of the Peacebringer version.
I still hate the fact that the devs nerfed our secondary travel powers because of a perceived PvP exploit that isn't even an exploit while claiming that they couldn't adjust powers purely for PvP when they clearly can.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ah, my mistake, as was my estimate of how long you could keep Quantum Flight running. -
Hmmm - all I can think of then (barring bugs) is maybe it was a snipe or something else with a long animation that caught you?
IIRC the "to hit roll" on these is made the instant you're spotted, and anything you do after that won't stop it landing even though the attack animation (and matching effect) may not complete for several seconds. -
A sort-of exception is that any damage-over-time you've picked up before starting the power will continue even after you're phased. That's the same behaviour as regular Phase Shift, mind.
This might not cover your circumstances at all, but the power was changed some time ago so the end cost ramps up hugely after 30s, so however you're slotted you'll run dry and drop the toggle after a minute or so. It's no longer usable as a "make a cup of tea and the toon's safe in the meantime" power.
