We had a great time on Azeroth's team (Tank, 3 scraps, Stalker, Dominator, Corruptor, Controller), as none of us had done the TF before and we were gawping at the new maps, enjoying the storyline (which we kept each other abreast of) and plowing through the mobs and generally having a whale of a time.

Hear hear!
Much scrapping fun, maps we hadn't seen before and just the right level of faceplanting (mainly by me - stupid scrapperlock!) to keep things entertaining. And about 7 more bars towards 50, which never hurts.
Thanks to all for a great team! -
There ought to be someone getting real debt out of the trip, so please sign me up...Son of Santa, 47 Dark/Dark scrapper.
SK pls! -
Had a look in IE, which to my amazement does do a better job...nice guide!
-
Carni, I suspect this is a very good guide, but something in it seems to have broken the line break mechanism and on Firefox it needs a browser > 1024 pixels wide.
Meaning it can't be read on an "averageish" monitor without scrolling left and right across every single line, which is a bit painful...
Any chance you could put this right, if edits are still allowed? -
The one thing I'd like to see is attacks actually being stopped by the various bubbles; if it's a beam attack, it ricochets off the surface, if it's bullets you get the "dents in surface" effect on the bubble rather than the toon.
As long as you aren't too precious about getting the angles mathematically right it shouldn't be demanding on the client, and IMHO it would look much more super that the current "foe misses wildly, 'Deflected' text appears" system. -
There should be links to what you're after on here.
-
...and seeing as corpses aren't affected by the collision detection rules, that's as many as you can find.

Its a well cool power. TP goes well with it for Corpse Recoveries, I've gotten 3 people raised in one shot with it

I've managed a few 7 person rezzes with my Dark/Dark corruptor
Looks very impressive, but has always led to a rapid faceplant for yours truly; the rest of the team's busy retoggling, you've just aggroed whatever's left unstunned from an 8-person spawn, plus the stunned ones will be back soon. And guess who they're angry with...? -
Nice screenie Coin; I thought mine had come out well, but you've got a much better angle on yours!
-
Nice one Stryker - big gratz from the guy in red!
-
Gratz to javascript:void (did he get genericed?
) aka Mr Proton!
-
Gratz to all four of you!
Would love to post to each one in turn, but of course that would break message board rules.
Screenie of the big event here, PM me with an email address if you want the full size original (1680x1050, 780k)! -
Blimey, they're all hitting the stops tonight!
Nice one Max! -
Thanks to all!
It did take a while - that's what comes of taking a lower damage powerset and soloing a lot, I guess. D'oh!
Right, which alt next...? -

This thread is a drama magnet.

I'm wounded to the core that you can claim this! Wounded, I say!
/em swoons -
Up for this with Breezy - 23 Stone/Stone Tank (SK please!
).
-
Hmmmm - the upshot of that (for better or worse) being that Kheldians would tend to go around in pairs.
Entirely a matter of opinion but I think I'd be against that; the whole rationale of CB/DS is that they complement/emphasise the capabilities of non-Kheld team members, and having them suddenly start acting off Khelds seems wrong.
Although I'd rather have that than no change at too - Khelds are a bit too mezzable at the moment IMHO. -
I'd be on for most of that as Al - been neglecting him a bit lately for Defiant teaming, but this weekend he'll be back!
-
One change that might work without unbalancing things is to change the ATs that give mezz protection.
Possibly controllers and defenders for cosmic balance (as they're vulnerable to mezz, but often hand out mezz protection with powers), and tankers and scrappers for dark sustenance (as you're copying the mezz protection they usually have themselves).
That would make it far more likely that a Kheld would find him/herself in a team that lent mezz protection. -
It isn't possible to do exactly what you want; you can only ever activate one power at once[1] which one keypress, so turning everything on isn't doable.
The best you can do is bind a sequence of activations to a single key, along the lines of:
/bind f "powexectoggleon Shining Shield$$powexectoggleon Thermal Shield$$powexectoggleon Quantum Shield$$etc..."
As the game skips over a command to turn on a power that's already active, each press of F will execute the next command along. So, press F 5 times (maybe with short pauses between each to give queues chance to clear) and eventually you'll get there.
[1] There's a workaround with attacks, where a second can be set to autofire, but that isn't applicable here. -
Cheers Wyx - I suspect I will be having a CoXtastic weekend, so if that spot's going I'd be interested.
-
Oh no, I missed a chance to hear Illum on TS! Next weekend, perhaps...
-
It should list your global chat handle in the stuff it writes to the chat dialog (along with the number of respecs available, etc...) whenever you enter the game.
