On each occassion I ahve stayed to fight (and I can win) it seems that a mass call out revertebrates around the zone telling people I am visible and to jump on me
Unless I am just messing about or want a quick way back to the villain base I will run

A Stalker won't even get chance to AS strike a Controller when they have Hotfeet on, if he Placates he'll just get damage again. Hotfeet is one of the worst for a Stalker, because the range is quite wide and allies of the Controller can easily stay inside. A Stalker has to be careful of those close to HotFeet too, because the Controller may knowingly or unknowingly move Hotfeet into him. It also like PvE slows an enemy so can be a very quick death if a Stalker gets caught anywhere but the outskirts of it. Hotfeet is a great anti Stalker power, but doesn't make you immune to a Stalker superspeeding towards you, jumping at the last moment and hitting you as he passes over Hotfeet. But you'll never get AS with it on as far as I know.

Hotfeet is not 100% I fly above, get in place, build up, drop and AS very quickly on people with PBAOEs, if its not an autohit then there is a chance of being ASd.

I'd like to see this, since if your within range to AS then a power like Hotfeet will effect even the flying. Hotfeet ticks you for damage too fast for you to get an AS strike in.

No it doesnt, it can miss as it isnt AUTOhit, if it misses and doesnt hit it doesnt interrupt the AS. As I said I am above and out of the range of all hit aspects (often a great hight avoiding any who can see me), I build up, then i drop with AS being clicked so the instant I land (I drop and land in the hotfeet) the animation is launched and the AS is moving. An example of how quick I can do this is this, before the drones were able to see through hide I got a friend (very good pvper) to wait in hero base for me to drop out of the sky and launch my AS, I landed in front of him, he could see me with the +perception from the drones, but he could not land an attack before my AS hit, this guy is not a novice and we tried several times. I have spend a great deal of time with my stalker in sirens and know what can and cannot affect me, hotfeet can hit and interupt the AS or it can miss and allow the AS to complete. Hotfeet and ALL other non-autohit PBAOEs make it harder to AS but NOT impossible -

I had a really annoying time in sirens last night, i think that was mainly due to being one shotted by stalkers thoughIMHO if you get AS'd by a stalker than you shouldnt be able to get AS'd by another for 10 secs or so. I got hit by 4 AS at once last night on 3 seperate occasions
Anyway, thats not the issue, i dont really have a big problem with it. what is is this:
One of the Villains was using tp and then using a hold on me, not a problem. Good tactica I feel, annoying as hell but good. However, I assume that tping me and freezing me in place in the middle of a mob of +1 Tsoo o 3 seperate occasions and then buggering off and leaving me to die and get debt is frowned upon by the community? Would it be considered griefing?

I ASd you a couple of times last night nothing excessive as I rotate targetsYou picked a bad night as there were quite a few stalkers in training there yesterday. I have no idea who TPd held you in a mob but that really isnt on and is one of the reasons why i wish sirens was a no debt/no xp zone, accidents happen occassionally and i ahve been feared, ran off and stopped in a hoard of longbow as it had a delayed effect on my to which I picked up debt, annoying? yes but I knew the person who feared me wouldnt have done it on purpose, I have got people debt before as in a flying battle my impale dropped them into mobs (unintentionally). It will always happen but 99% is accidental, if you are sure it was deliberate and not incompetance (3x is not incompetance) I would say to petition and advise others of what happened

Sadly this crap is what ruins the pvp zones, its even worse when the numpty concerned sends u insulting private tells. I normally broadcast these which usually leads to ostracisation (not entirely sure thats a word lol)

OK, example; you're a less than scrupulous player and decide you want to get your PvP rating up as fast as possible. The zones are next to emply as they usually are but there's two opponents on. You compare their ratings. 1 is the top 5, the other is WAY down the bottom. If you're wanting an easy kill, who are YOU going to go after?
This is not to suggest all or even the majority of regular PvPers would do this, but there are people who WILL use the list to their advantage and perhaps at the expense of the people who're just getting their feet wet in PvP.
If anyone's in any doubt of the existence of these people go see the thread about kill stealing.

hmm plausible at least, still at least COH/COV has a built in protection system agaisnt knowing someones rank/rating, when you click on someones info theres certainly a chance of lockup -

We already pulled team like that 3 times now...well not much to say except we cleared the zone in couple of minutes.....and it was without all level 50 trollers..but a level mix...if we sit down and properly get an all level 50 troller team fully speeced for pvp uh i think it will be insanity...

Lower Ranking PvPer: ARGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
The way to fix this is to only gain rank be defeating targets of higher or equal rank and level to you, but that isn't currently how it works.

Well curently you get a 5pt bonus for killing somone with a higher pvp rating than you and a similar thing could be introduced for this suggestion, as for it being used to an advantage, when was the last time anyone gauged someones ability by looking at their pvp rating? -

Best villains are the same people who have the best heroes. PvP is 75%-80% Skill. Most show only 20-30% of what a build because they never find out what their build can really do.
The questions are; Why can 95% of the tanks out there not hold any aggro? Why does blaster insist that range is the only way to go. Why do empaths only heal, why does 50% of the illusion controllers not use phantom army for initial aggro? and so on. These people who "fail" in PvE I also see trying to win PvP against people who can solo invinv missions set for 3-4 people with a blaster.
Plight Trawler is a guy I have much respect for, he is one of the few people I have meet that truely knows the limits of his build. Do you guys think he found these limits by being afraid of getting debt, by not experimenting. He is one of the few guys I know that has tried to solo AVs with a blaster, he lost but he kept trying. (Im also gonna try, and Im sure as hell gonna reach debt cap before I give up). The guy is worth 2-3 normal blasters.
Stop looking for uber builds and start being the best. Perhaps the uber build isnt discovered, cause you wanna be PvPers are trying to dublicate some others peoples playstyle instead of finding your own.

I agree to an extent, I see most people playing and can see so much more that they can do with their builds, there are so many builds I would like to try out but dont have the time to do so. The ability to see past the obvious is a great boon and unusual builds can produce some of the best pvp alts due to the fact that it suits the individual concerned so well. Of course some builds have inherant build in survivability in a pvp environment -

There is one particular Spines scrapper in Sirens call with a 2 letter name who runs worse than anyone, hes a poor player, only gets opportunistic kill steals. Not only does he do this he contstantly sends abusive and insulting tells to the villains whilst not having the intellect to turn on villain chat, suffice to say he is on my ignore list and I have, and advise others, to petition his behaviour, playing a game and getting abusive tells is not on imo.
So you see its not just stalkers who are hypocritical about running like a girl and complaining of this behaviour in others -

yeah but you not in sirens that often and when you are you are teamed well and makes things harder, besides i never go after the same target over and over anyway. oh and you cannot hold me solo, energy aura is a sucky secondary IMO but entropy is pretty damn good, you cant slot it with def/res, its at maximum from the get go.
Oh and we did the 8 man troller team again in sirens and cleared the zone, hopefully some team dynamics will arise on the villain side soon as it was painful to watch -

only the autohits like hurricane actually interupt AS 100%, the rest will only interrupt if they hit. The PBAOEs are all good so long as slotted with acc but I hvae ASd through pretty much all but hurricane.

every single AT has an opponent they cannot beat barring player mistakes. I cant beat an ice tank solo, my build doesnt allow it but Im happy with that, its not remotely hard to avoid themand besides 1v1 rarely happen in the pvp zones
