Odysseus's personal army.
Quote:Why do they use melee weapons and how can this make them successful against gangs that use guns?
Quote:They trade magic artefacts, but do they use them? How?
Quote:They style themselves after ancient Greek tradition and mythos, but why?
Quote:And how seriously do they take it?
Quote:On the one hand we have Alexander "The Great" Pavlidis whose name suggest he's actually Greek, but only uses the moniker as his nickname, yet on the other hand we have Menelaus and Achilles leading a war against Hector in a recreation of events worthy of the Summer Court Fae. What are these guys about and where can we find depth about them? -
OK, next question: How does the fortune teller and Spelunker badge tie in with Atlas?

Good grief. My deepest sympathies as well.

Hate to continue to derail, but thinking on recent lore turns reminds me of this article: Prometheus - 'Calvinball Mythology', and the Void of Meaning

Quote:They fumbled the ball by not undertaking what would have been an incredibly massive code re-write that would have affected all of three ATs?I think I would have preferred more choices and have it left up to the individual player. At level 32 you get a choice and which ever one you choose locks you out of the other choice for that build.
Choice 1 the change that is being made.
Choice 2 - all things as they are now on live (crash, recharge, etc.) but scale 8.0 damage
...
The devs had the opportunity to leave the choice up to the players and let us CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES which kind of awesome to be, but fumbled the ball and limited us again. -
Quote:And there were the Soviet supers fighting in the Cold War as well. I'm just curious after seeing all those other WW2 superteams and the Soviets don't have any mentioned. I have my own theories and headcanon, it's making its way to T-34's Virtueverse entry. Not sure about WWII, but following the collapse of the Soviet Union, their first major group was the Valiant Defenders of the Motherland. One of my main characters' brother is currently a member.

Ooh, let's see...
We know the Western Allies had the Dawn Patrol and the First Hero Brigade, the Germans had the Storm Korps, and the Japanese had the Divine Wind Somethingorother. So... what did the Russians have?

What's with some of these players who hover up not five feet in front of my character as they spam 'forming Arena badge team' every five seconds on every public channel including Atlas Park broadcast? I mean, really, what's up with that?

Disappointed I couldn't vote for Zwill, but I wasn't too unhappy to drop a 'Take That' vote for Stephen Reid instead.

I understand you're technically 'out of touch' or 'Rip Van Winkle' since you can't seem to comprehend its now 2012 and not 2004 and no, don't argue the technicalities either.

Quote:Crashless nukes?New "Other Ranged Blast Set Change": NO CRASH NUKES! Normalized recharge:damage ratio for all 'crash' Tier 9 blast powers. "Slight decrease on max potential damage, but good amount of consistent damage increase. No more chance-for-damage, all nukes are now a consistent number. 50% faster recharge for PBAoE nukes, 75% faster recharge for Targeted AoE Nukes."
Quote:'Pistols' power getting secondary effects
Cast time reduced on Exec Shot, Empty Clips, Bullet Rain, all three down to 1.67s cast time
i24: Giving You More Reasons To Play Your Ranged Alts. Its all good.
(I should've jumped in from work to ask if there were any plans for Piercing Rounds too.)
