Seriously what does it mean ? Is PL a problem with empath specifically?
Or with Tanks who don't know how to keep aggro, or Blaster who stay in melee, or anyone who doesn't know how to play ?

I remember when a mutant who started in Atlas Park was asked to go see Jose Brogan...
Jose Brogan was bugged and nowhere to be found.

I remember purple 5th column boss in my level 15 "find the escape route" or "arrest education officer" mission.

I remember (but that's not that old) when Coyotee was not at the end of the tutorial.

I remember a guy named Sensai with more than 10.000 posts at the time I joined the forum.

I remember the bad jokes of a guy named Ploq.

I remember when I discovered about CoH, in the Wizard guide to comics, was it in September 2001 ? I rushed to register on the forum, was one of the top ten posters for a time, then quit for almost three years and got the beta invite.

I don't like any mission with timer, from end the clockworks/skulls fight to close dimensional ruptures (or whatver it's called).

Before logging of, I always make sure I have missions for the next session, I go to my contacts and choose a mission. Sometimes, I admit I don't pay attention and I get a timed and I have to stay longer to complete it.
(exception: timed oranbega missions, I take them and let them pass while I do something else, Oranbega should only be timed for me).

We started an ew group lately ( The New Breed) and set all our slider to "rugged" and we have great fun, so far we went up to level 6 and just completed the 2 outcast bases in the Hollow.

Also thank you for working continuously on making the graphics better.
In issue 2 you introduced the Skull Dyne lab tileset, and you perfected it in issue 3 with a new light that is awesome. (check the link above and scroll down to the dyne lab pola.)

Yes, Ravageur is not so bad.

I was mostly surprised with the origins "Experiment" and "Prodige", I had to really think to understand what they were.

Science is Science in french, and Natural is Naturel.

But now, I'm back to the good US version.

Another thing that annoys me: French language on french beta would not have bothered me, I could even have helped with translation, ie Natural is Naturel not Prodige, Prodige doesn't speak to me in term of origin.(if I could ever enter the Euro-beta, which I didn't because my updater always launched the US version)
But french on US server ?

I imagine a player who asks me "hey, what's this cool power you just used ?" and me : "The hell if I now, Armmée Illusoire is Illusion Army ?" in the end, it will restrain my communication level with other players.

I check this registry and did not find a satisfying match.
The updater language is set to 1036, maybe that's the one ?
But if 0 is english and 1036 french, I wonder waht the 1035 in between are...

And I speak french, I really do since I'm able to speak.
I just find some words misleading once translated (same for comics, I love US comics but I find their french translation ridiculous, seriously Wolverine is Serval ?).

I'm about the same at work, I work on american products, I am always in touch with american enginers, and there are some words on machines parts I don't even know the french translation.

I'm sorry, but I still preffer the english version, and I'm sure this nice red name will come back and save me when he has some free time.

I played a lot with the registry in the CoH beginning to adjust the windowed mode and such.

In the registry editor, I don't find any value called local setting, would it be possible to have the correct entry name ?

I know, I'm ashamed to be so demanding.

On the other hand, being french since 38 years (since my brith more or less), I obviously don't speak the same french as the one I read in the french menus.

And I'm really used to the english menu, AND I installed the french beta on a separate harddrive, AND I didn't imagine it would change the language of the US game.

Are you sure you're using the right shortcut to start the beta? You might want to try posting on the European Beta Technical Issues and Bugs board to see if anyone can help...

I posted on the European (french) tech.forum the day I installed the Euro Beta, and I didn't get any good answer.
As for using the right shortcut, I installed the game in a different folder than the original, I copied the updater (which I downloade from the Euro-Link) in the same folder and sent it to my desktop.

But after all, I'm too much involved in the US version and my supergroups and friends are here, I don't see when I can find time to test the french version.

And btw, it's funny to have an answer from a red name here, when I had none on the French forum.

With a Jan/Feb release, don't you think the beta test would be already running ?

I would risk a date: 3 to 6 months after beta starts.

You will not be forced to leave the us servers and play on european ones.
