Imperial! - I'd still love one for Hour Woman, Sparrowhawk, Doll Face (or even Queen Nefaria.) I think you have probably met all three in game but it's been a while. If you have the time and inclination...
Hour Woman: Green, white and black. Time control powers. Clean lines - kind of a 60's sci-fi motif (Kubrik's 2001). Science origin, associated with Portal Corp.
Sparrowhawk: Brown, orange and black leather. Slick retro vigilante look with a modern street mentality. Martial artist, natural origin. Fights neofascism.
Queen Nefaria: White, gold, red. Stately and 'Heliopolitan' Egyptian villainess. Fire, sun, serpents, opulence a common theme. Magic origin. Not a mummy
Doll Face: Gray, pink, black. Creepy 1930's life-sized doll (looks like 8 year old girl) remotely animated by an 82 year old bedridden psychic. The doll floats through the back alleys of King's Row frightening the bejesus out of thugs. Urban legend. Tragic, bizarre, but heroic. Mutant origin. -
Cute picture. It looks like she's pooping out a tail. I know they regenerate, but please, this is a children's show.

Wow Juggs, your style is becoming really refined and unique. It's wonderful.
It reminds me of a French comic book artist -- I can't recall his name. His work was kind of twisted and moody, but always beautiful. -
I like the color combination on Storm Lass and the sleek combination of elements. I'd love to see how it comes together in an action shot.

Imperfect polling method aside (is there a perfect polling method?)
Yes.
It's a mess, but I love it. Pvp encompasses the pinnacle and the pits of this game's thematic combat potential. It's amazingly fun but horribly frustrating. Pve is the safe middleground, fun enough, if a little bland. -

I love this outfit. It's surprising and iconic - and I'm totally jealous. I know this isn't a popularity contest and Juggs has the last word, but you have my vote

I liked Flagstaff's costume.

Thank you! You know, I had thought about it but I entered Juggy's March contest. I thought it might be too soon. Oh heck... Flagstaff, my Brit. -

Virtue here too. Not much of a fan art collection myself, but I love the thrill of envious lurking. I'm wary of generalizing, but I think many roleplayers just put more thought and creative effort into their characters. When you have a good name, look and backstory, the art just flows.
Hmm. Maybe I'll go "TA/Katfood Crazy" and commission thirty pieces in a week. I need to get my snazzy costumes on paper dangit -
I always thought Belle's greatest nightmare was being fully clothed.
Oh well, this works too.
Wonderful figures Graver! You always bring a unique perspective to your work. -
Stylish. But is that the last thing I see before he fries my brain?
-
Sorah, it's a well put together site: pretty and easy to get around. And it's great to see how much you have improved - your mentor has brought out the depth in your figures. Kudos!
I've thought about commissioning a portrait of Hour Woman, but I don't know how she'd look under the overt sexiness of your style. That's not a knock, you do great work - but Hour's not the sort to be fighting topless lesbians in a whipped cream blizzard -
Seen the trick - and it does look like epilepsy on certain connections. I'm just still curious why they haven't added an official walk emote. We can turn into pumpkins but we can't walk. It's quite silly.

"Don't do it Missy! That man is a trainwreck. It will end in tears."
Very pretty. The colors are wonderful. -

Why is it limited to Virtue? Just wondering.

Those are all fantastic, but I have a special spot in my heart for Shia's work. It's just so vital. And -fugashuga- if I can't manage to win something in his free art thread, I just might have to pay for something. Pay!

Summer Thunder is my favorite of the set. The gauntlets and the details go well with the powers -- and it's a cool pose to boot.
I really like the shapes and details of most of your costumes, but yeah, I'd have to say they get lost in the black pallette. Lighten up. The world's a happy place! -
Those are crazy-wonderful! They just capture so much.
I love them. -
A few concepts, by origin:
Magic -
The sword is possessed of an ancient will bent upon destruction. Its owner, a veteran of the WWI, is supernaturally preserved by its dark powers but attempts to use it for good despite its urgings. He knows that all he needs to do to release himself from the curse is to give the sword to another, but he's a good man and is afraid that the sword might overwhelm a new wielder entirely. Looks like a shabby Victorian gentleman with timeless tired eyes.
Mutant -
Local high-schooler who was caught in a crossfire between The Family and Tsoo during a field trip. He was shot 32 times but instead of dying his body absorbed the metal of the bullets, using it to repair his organs. He learned that any injury could be healed if he consumed metal...and if he consumed enough, he could become a man of pure metal. And that's what he is today - made of metal, and able to 'excrete' it from his hands in the shape of a sword and axe (ghost axe). Looks like a man of pure, shining metal with some crunchy metallic accents.
Natural -
He is the disciple of one of the world's best swordsmen, a grouchy old Spaniard. He was chosen for training because of the amazing physical talent he displayed as locally famous ballet dancer. Yes, a male ballet dancer blade master. The /inv actually represents his uncanny ability to parry and deflect almost any incoming attack. Imagine a shining, spinning blade. He's not a hero in a traditional sense; what drives him is quest for perfection. A thin man who dresses simply for maximum movement. Black bodysuit, domino mask and head scarf. Like Zorro, with a superhero flair.
I could keep going, but you get the idea. -
Ooh, very pretty picture MechaDeuce
Mr. Nakayama makes Sister Psyche look so understated and confident. And you've got a nice, streamlined look.
Too bad she can't get Serge to redesign that seafoam pukeweb of a costume she insists on wearing <.< >.> -

Anithiro, what bustier are they wearing? I don't think I've seen that one before. -
I love the Victorian flair of this piece. It encapsulates Imperial beautifully.
Imperial, you can tell how much effort and love you pour into this character, from the Crey profile to interacting with you in game (remember way-back in the first weeks after beta?). If Cryptic ever awards customized weapon or costume skins, I hope you get your mace -
I really wouldn't want to, because they all seem so lonely and some a little psycho, but if I had to? Probably my newest character, Flagstaff. Her costume allows her a great degree of privacy and it insulates her with a burly force field. I'd need one of those, because the first time I got hit by some vicious baddie, I'd probably freak out.
