Quote:1. Yes.I am currently 5 levels filled on the paragon rewards table, with 3 additional slots filled on level 6. I have bought going rogue prior to the launch of issue 21:Freedom.
Here are my questions:
1. Will salvage or recipes drop for me?
2. Will Tip Missions drop for me at level 20?
3. Will I receive Villain Reward Merits if I run Morality missions?
4. If I do receive Villain Reward Merits, will I be able to turn them in for recipes?
5. Will I be able to craft those recipes?
Thanks for any help.
2. Yes.
3. As long as you purchased Going Rogue.
4. Yes.
5. No, unless you purchase an Invention license.
Edit: It's my understanding that you'll still get invention salvage and recipe drops before you have the invention system unlocked, but you can't do anything except sell them. If not, why would they give you bonuses on salvage and recipe inventory on lower tiers? -
My Willpower/Super Strength tank floored anything that got in his way. I had to up the difficulty just so I didn't fall asleep!

While I recognize that there are a lot of sub-forums, I don't think it would be worth the effort to removed/consolidate any of them. We can already collapse the sections we don't look at - I have ATs & Powers and PVP collapsed all the time, unless I need something specific, and would do the same with Servers if it wasn't at the bottom of the list. The smallest subforum out there still has more than 100 threads and roughly 1500 posts.
I will say that a lot of forums need to be pruned of outdated stickies and such, though.
Edit: FPARN! -
How appropriate that CoH: Freedom goes live in September... All existing players must try our hardest to make sure that it does not become an Eternal September! Teach new players in-game etiquette, guide them from newb-ness and steer them not into n00b-ness!

Heehee, Aeon and Zeon. Great typo!

Yesterday I found a female NPC walking through Portal Corp named Man.

I think it would be entirely useful to go back and turn some of the extended missions on hero side into mini-arcs like on the villains side. It's no longer a problem if a contact has more than one arc like it apparently was when CoH originally launched.
Meteorologist "mission" from Maxwell Christopher: Hunt -> Defeat all -> Return to Contact -> Delivery -> Defeat All -> Defeat All
That's an entire arc, longer than some of the villain arcs, and should offer rewards like a real arc, and not auto-grant you the next chain in the arc when you leave the previous mission. In the same situation from Maxwell Christopher is the Nemesis Rex "mission", which is really 5 missions, as well as the doomsday device and rail track "missions" which are 3 missions each.
Angus McQueen, Indigo and Crimson also have multi-part missions that deserve to be their own arcs. Heck, every one of Crimson's missions is at least a three-parter when you count the deliveries to Indigo. -
Well, I'm fostering two teenage turtles, so if they got mutated, they'd probably turn into ninjas.
My bearded dragon Slinky would become a claws/willpower stalker, with the signature power that's the same as the hordeling lashers with their tongues. Knockout tongue to the face! -
They tweaked the animations to prevent there from being a noticeable pause after the attack when you didn't have the redraw animation. The animation doesn't take any less time, since that would change the DPS of the powerset, but it looks much smoother visually.

Oh man, I remember bobbing Ghost Widow... and I think bobbing Positron on the hero version.
-
Oh man, let's see...
*Started playing as a junior in college (May 2005), introduced by my roommate.
*Got my dad hooked on the game when GvE came out.
*Had a falling out with an online friend due to SG leadership issues - started making my own way and became a much more social player.
*Moved to DC and started working for the government.
*Decided government work wasn't for me and started my own business.
*Dad was diagnosed with lymphoma and later passed away from it.
*Got GF interested in the game - she earned her 12 month vet badge this past weekend!
I'm looking forward to be able to log into my dad's account one Freedom goes live - I know the username and password, but didn't know enough to be able to change billing info to myself, so had to let the account go inactive after he passed. -
Late to the thread, but oh man, I remember this. I was online as he started posting them and immediately started a thread in the closed Forum Cartel section so the mods could find them all super fast. (Yes boys and girls, the Forum Cartel used to be VERY VERY REAL. We discussed making several changes to the boards, but after the employees involved left, the board was declared dead and eventually removed.)

Heard it on EITM this morning, but had no idea why they'd be playing it... Now I get it!

It actually woke me up from my usual Tuesday siesta! My Twitter feed lit up like the Fourth of July the moment it happened...I saw reports from as far south as North Carolina all the way up into Southern Michigan.
My former Coworkers back in Fairfax, VA claim to have had a wild ride...I can only imagine as some of our offices were on the 8th floor! -

Why arent there that many
Missions with Shivans?
And what is it on their insides?
Shivans are monsters
And also disgusting
Theyre clear; Theyve got nothing to hide
In Bloody Bay
They crash landed and beat up
All the civilians, you see
Thats why we fight them
The Shivan Correction:
Arachnos, the Longbow and me.
They came from a space rock
At least thats the theory
They tell in the Portal Corp lab
The public couldnt care less
They just want to go home
With help from Numina and B.A.B.
In Atlas Park
They landed in the future
The Coming Storm they are, you see
Thats why we fight them
The Shivan Correction:
Arachnos, the Longbow and me.
All of them giant and green!
We know its likely an invasion!
Are you new to the game?
In Galaxy City
Youll fight them to start your career
We dont know what happens next
But well keep on watching
Anyone know a good real life seer?
In Galaxy
Its a new form of Shivan
Made from the concrete debris
Thats why we fight them
The Shivan Correction:
Arachnos, the Longbow and me. -

Got the 15 minute warning, decided to run Levantera's second arc anyway. Yeah, the one with the timed/stealth mission at the end.
Finished with less than 2 minutes to spare. :-) -
I believe they said more like Martial Arts or Dual Blades, in that it has a lot of fast animations, and so since you can fire off powers fast, it eats up your endurance at a moderately high rate.
