The first and harshest blow was the removal of the Paragon Protector Clone lab map. So then after getting a tell that my arc wasn't working I had to chose a stupid generic map that didn't have the room at the end with the clone lab which I had thought was pretty cool.

    [/ QUOTE ]

A lot of special maps were removed because glowies were spawning inside the special geometry, making the mission uncompleteable.

After the last patch I again get a tell that my arc is invalid. I'm pretty confused because I can't for the life of me think why it would be invalid. Turns out they have now pulled the power generators that you get in some Council maps and in the Marshall Brass/Aeon arc(the ones powering the WSPDR building. They can no longer be used as destructible objects.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The changed destructible objects to versions that do no damage, and apparently there's no version of the generators that don't do damage. Hopefully they'll be back once they have the time to make a non-damaging version.

Just like your situation, I had an arc invalidated by the removal of Prisoners, and I hope they make a return someday.
  2. I'm not sure if this is a bug or working as intended:

When running a mission with a custom group on heroic difficulty, all custom bosses, elite bosses and archvillains will be downgraded to lieutenants, bosses, and elite bosses, respectively, EVEN ON A FULL TEAM.

Edit: Also, the AE ticket vendor doesn't sell damage resistance DOs.
  3. I made a character yesterday at lunch who was an alternate version of my original main, only on this server he had been captured by the Lost early in his hero career and <OMEGA LEVEL CLEARANCE DENIED>, and was later rescued by another hero. He's now level 15 from the crazy XP that rolls from invasions and has the weapon his concept needs - the same sword that the Lost use.

    Random Captive

The beautiful thing is that they don't even have to be the same type of objective to do this. I can have a hostage, a glowie, a boss and a destructible object, but if I make the plural nav text "clues to find" on all 4 of them, it'll show up as "4 clues to find" in the nav bar.
  5. I'm a big fan of Division: Line from Angus McQueen. It's 13 door missions, no defeat alls, no hunts, no deliveries. If you run it for speed, you should be able to do it in under 90 minutes, and it gives 21 merits, plus plenty of Vanguard merits from defeating Rikti.
  6. Ok, here's an interesting animation glitch I've discovered in the last 48 hours. Make a "huge" body type character, and give them some nice simple leg gear so its easy to see. (I have on the baggy pants.) Take broadsword for your attack power. Attack something, and then watch your legs. After a couple of seconds they slide inward in a very unusual motion. It's like two stances aren't quite identical, so there's a very obvious transition between them.

    Hellion Bosses

Most common around the docks in Port Oakes.
  8. I think its apparent from the announcement of I16 that they finally wrapped up all the projects that were started when the dev team was at its smallest, and then when they were hiring and focusing on training the new folks. Now that the team is back to around 40 people and even "recent" new hires have been there several months, I think we are going to see things really ramp up.

    Fungoids

    [ QUOTE ]
I've not noticed any noise from Fungoids before, maybe it has something to do with all the instanced NPC's having various starting animations now (like the Lost pan-handlers for example) and the Fungoids now start in the Tarzan or Howl animations.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Yup, it's related to this.

DE howl and DE plants disguise themselves as trees.
Lost panhandle, sleep like bums or push wheelbarrows.
Council and several other factions stand at ease.
    Banished Pantheon drum or dig.
    CoT hold torches and scrolls.
Crey do research on a laptop.
Tsoo meditate and practice their martial arts.
  10. If the two of you have a little longer time to play, please check out my arc! It's designed as a missing 20-29 TF that involves the Family and the Skulls, two groups I love that seem to have been shafted on developer content. (Skulls are custom enemies that should act just like real Skulls!)

    Arc Title: The Superadine Revolution

    Arc ID#: 262739

Description: No longer content just to push Superadine and commit petty crimes, the Skulls are attempting to steal control of the entire Superadine operation from the leaders of the Family. The combination of the dark magic of the Skulls and the pure strain of Superadine would make them incredibly powerful...

    Author: @SpaceNut
    Alignment: Heroic, levels 20-29
Length: Approx 1 hour (5 missions)
Difficulty Level: Moderate (Elite bosses in 2 missions, but otherwise soloable)
    Enemies: Family, "Skulls"

As a side note, I'm noticing that I'm catching up with my backlog. I'd say that I promise to be nice if you submit your arcs for review, but that'd go against the spirit of the title.

C'mon, I know you guys are making new arcs with the new slots you can buy! Let me at 'em!

Well that sounds like an invitation to me!

  12. Disregard what I had here before... I found a clearer version.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZ-cQvdc1JU (right at the beginning)

    "Liberty 285, Code 6, 105 North Avenue 52"

Edit: It mean Liberty Unit 285, on foot*, at 105 North Avenue #52.

    *Alternatively, "standing by at"
  13. My new scrapper Luc'Trelix (the Riktified version of my main, Electrilux) is looking forward to getting his Rikti sword and completing his concept!

    *Sword, not axe.
  14. If you put Rikti in an arc, doesn't it set the lower level limit to 30?
  15. Hey peoples!

I made a new character in preparation for the invasion this weekend that is a former member of the lost (so he's getting the Rikti sword this weekend) and I'm a bit burnt out on lowbie hero content. Does anyone know any good AE arcs that revolve around the Lost?

I've been searching for "lost" but its really hit and miss, and maybe only 1 in 10 have "Lost" as an enemy group instead of in the description.
  16. If it's the generators I'm thinking of, there may have been an issue with them completely blocking certain cave passages, making mission uncompletable. I remember there was a dev-created arc way back that had the same issue. Destructible items probably got reset because the list of available items changed.
  17. For the confused, here is a list of the disc releases with links to what each box contains: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Disc_Releases
  18. Hey Citizen_Razor! I'd appreciate it if you'd play my new arc! I'm tired of the Family getting shafted when it comes to content!

  19. From that angle with those colors, she looks like a female Santa with... presents... under her jacket.

Go ahead and recommend it! Granted, Pro Payne may not play it, but I do have other characters who might (Pro Payne is certainly not the *only* character I play).

  21. Now I have to rewrite "Explosions! By Michael Bay!"
  22. Eh, sorry, not paying $10 for a costume set, 4 emotes and a feature that shouldn't be extra.
  23. Bah, too bad you are already 31, or I would recommend my new arc. It caps at 29.
  24. Thank you guys for all the tickets! With this morning's patch, the bug is now gone, so I will be updating this into a normal mission due to positive feedback. I'll let you know when the new version is ready!
