4 servers for me - Infinity, Triumph, Pinnacle and Virtue - but I have seeded almost every other server with a scrapper for when I want to expand to that server. Champion, Liberty and Justice have high level scrapper sugar daddies waiting and Guardian has my current sugar-daddy-in-training.

To double check, right click on your experience bar. It will show you a bunch of numbers including Patrol XP and Debt.

Quote:For a while, Smoke Grenade was giving enemies a -100% accuracy (to-hit?) debuff instead of the intended -10%.What was the deal with Smoke Grenades? I know ED was doom-ish, but I'd never heard about the grenades before?

The new forums really screwed up our formatting and whatnot. I think we're just about set with our new format and hosting, but I'll leave one of the EiCs to elaborate.

I'll add Electrilux to the queue. He's very serious, so I'd love to see him cute!
Also, I LOVE the cute Lusca. I'm thinking about making that the wallpaper on my work laptop even though it would confuse the heck out of anyone who saw it. -

I don't have the actual bios on hand to copy/paste, but a lot of my characters have tragic origins.
My blaster Electrilux was injured and his mentor was killed when their lab was attacked by Clockwork. My tanker Frozen Son killed his mother during childbirth complications, which also caused his father to go crazy and become my brute Flaming Father. -
I typically lead a team on Virtue every weekend with whatever team oriented character I'm working on at the moment. (Check my wiki page for my current Virtue character.)
Except last weekend I was on vacation.
And this weekend I feel icky from a possible broken rib from last weekend... -

Quote:Obligatory Sesame Street censored video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Wd-Q3F8KMYeah... people's issues with words is just such an odd thing... and the problems it causes for the people trying to moderate and the people trying to not be bogged down by such silliness... When there is such better silliness to be consumed with!!
That example of latin and the reaction the foolish censoring actually creates is a wonderful example.
I wish people could just let things go as is.
Let people use the full range of words... and then we can all see where everyone truly stands.
If someone is an [censored], let it be evident... Let's not create a balance curve to disguise the fact that they're an [censored]!
HAHA!!!
The catch-phrases section just blasts this list into laughing oblivion!!
And... hey... Why is my name censored on your list there??
[censored] Knight!!
It's [censored]-fying! -
Quote:This is a known issue and will be fixed soon. (I've been on vacation.)I was also frustrated by the two clues that seemed to pop up after defeating the boss at the top of a 4 story map. Both clues were back on the first floor. I kept asking myself if this was really needed for the story.
Quote:When I find Tommy he says "My orders come from the top! Sal is acting crazy! The Skulls are distributors, nothing more!" and then "Now that the truth is known, I'm getting out of here!" Does this mean the truth about the Skulls that we haven't even met yet? I'm confused because I don't think it's exactly a secret that the Skulls distribute Superadine for the Family.
Quote:Then I meet Sal the boss dude and find out that he's trying to use pure Superadine to make powerful Skulls that are loyal to him. So now I'm thinking that Sal is actually the big bad guy, and the skulls must be working for him.
Unfortunately the contact tells me that Sal was actually something of a dupe and the Skulls are perpetuating some kind of plot with other members of the Family in order to get more of the pure stuff. This really feels like we've changed gears again, after mostly ignoring the Skulls in the first mission. Alright, I'll roll with it, but the story has gotten off to kind of a rocky start.
Quote:I go into the next mission and the Skulls are saying "Forget the Dyne, take out $Name". This is also somewhat confusing as I thought they were really focused on getting all this Dyne. Also, it's a kill-all, argh...
Quote:So now I know that the Skulls are making a move on the Family. Good, this story is starting to pick up some momentum. The only problem is... ugh... another defeat all, on a large-ish map.
Quote:Finally I accompanied Tommy to Striga to stop an attack on the Don's office. I rescued Tommy and he immediately ran off across the map and suicided into a big pack of mobs. I wonder, do you have him on aggressive, or is this a bug?
Quote:We defeated Marrow Drinker and stopped the Skulls' attempted takeover. We rescued the Don... or was it? Well it turns out the Don left some clues. But they were ALL THE WAY DOWN ON THE FIRST FLOOR.
Sorry for the frustration there, but as we were painstakingly backtracking through this mission, I was lamenting how anticlimactic an ending this was. I told Londer this: "If the clues are on the first floor, I swear I am giving this arc 3 stars."
Well, they were on the first floor, but after I saw your well written contact end dialog, and excellent summary souvenir, I had to think about it for a while. Ultimately, I decided, like Londer, that this arc is too well written to get three stars, even if I found aspects of the gameplay frustrating.
Quote:Overall, very enjoyable writing. Starts off a bit confusing and ends a bit anticlimactic (due to the clue hunt), but the core of the plot is good. It just needs tightening up. Consider using smaller maps and removing kill all objectives, in order to shorten the necessary playtime. Also consider adding custom descriptions for all your Family guys with the cool names.

Quote:I gotta agree on this. The constant announcements get me giddy far too often but I love every minute of it!You have no idea how sick I am of finding out new features are being added to this game! I'm constantly in a state of excitement, that can't be good for my health!
Who invited Debby Downer into the thread? -
She must have just gotten married, because in an interview not more than a few months ago she was Keetsie Berbel.

I propose we conspire to give +Rep if he's red and -Rep is he's green, keeping the absolute value of his Rep as small as possible...

I have a very simple definition of farming:
If you do something repeatedly explicitly for the quantifiable rewards it offers, you're farming.
If you make a boss-only map in AE and run it over and over because it's challenging and you enjoy taking down powerful foes, that's not farming. If you do it because they give the best XP/inf/drops per minutes, that's farming. -
The only people who know for sure are the devs and those in closed beta. The former won't tell us and the latter can't tell us.
-
I'm so glad this was not an intentional change. I'm sick of getting hit after one-shotting someone with Assassin's Strike.
-
Honestly, I would say don't try. If you HAVE to put an image in your sig, make it an image of your character or an ad for your AE arcs. I find I'm blocking just about every other image because all it's doing is wasting space.

Sweet! Was out of town this weekend and will be psyched to get to enjoy double XP!

Try it some day. Guaranteed that if you spend most of your time behind a computer desk typing? You're not gonna want to stand more than an hour before you get a huge back and foot ache.
[/ QUOTE ]
I do it twice a year. That's about all I can stand (no pun intended). By the end of a 4-5 day con, everything below your navel hurts, your feet and legs have been pounded into something roughly the consistency of warm jello and you wonder how people who work retail for a living do it (aside from a masochism so profound that you shudder to think of it).

It's not just a lack of walking that does this - I live in NYC where you have to walk a LOT. I'm fine with walking. The cons drain me nonetheless. It's like going to a museum or a mall cranked up to 11. The pace of walking is slow and awkward, you're looking at all sorts of interesting things all around you all the time, and you're bombarded with constant social interaction. Just draining.

I've had this happen in a single day as an exhibitor at a small business expo.
Arrive at 7:15 to setup. Doors open for attendees at 8:15 and runs until 4:30. Even with an hour and a half sitting for lunch and the keynote presentation, I was WIPED OUT when I got home about 6:00.
I can't imagine doing it for a whole weekend+. -
Did your second account lapse while you were on vacation?

So the other day I was starting up a new character and due to his story I wanted to run AE arcs that had to do with the Lost. So I typed "Lost" into AE and discovered that there was no way to only search the Enemy Groups text.
I ended up with arcs by "@LostJoey", arcs about "a lost little bunny" and so on and so forth. I had to scroll through several pages before I found arcs that actually used the Lost as an enemy group.
So, I'd like to see an option that lets us set which description fields we're searching in. That way we can search for global names without finding the same names in titles, enemy groups without the words in the description, etc.
