Hey all,
Just wondering if Pinnacle has a regular Rikti Mothership raid time...
Working on an incarnate character and not really a fan of PUG TFs, so I figure raids are the fastest way to get shards. -
My basic understanding, distilled from the legalese, is that you cannot use their property to make money for yourself.
-
-
TFs are more fun for me now, because I only ever team with friends and now more friends want to run TFs! Plus, on the high level TFs, it's so much fun seeing "Incarnate Shard Bonded" pop up! I've run 3 TFs/week since I19 released.
-
For a slimmed down, easy to understand system, I made this flowchart: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...Wc&hl=en#gid=0
It shows what components you need for certain boosts, and what TFs you need to get those components. (And it will be updated when the rares and very rares are released, of course.) -
I will chip in here with a little more info. I was playing a Thugs/FF MM. On the first attempt, I was on Woe, and did not crash. After we reformed, I was on Despair, and crashed the instant my thugs started attacking it.

Neither Synapse nor Neuron are Incarnates.
Sorry.
Wait.
No, I'm not. -
Quote:More specifically, the game thinks you have been logged off long enough for all of your toggles to turn off, long duration click powers to recharge, etc. If you watch your XP bar, you'll see that every time this happens, you get a couple hour's worth of Patrol XP as well.Well, it looks like the last five or six times they fixed this didn't take, and the last fix apparently ran its expiration date. Guess it's time for the guys upstairs to fix this. Again. I wonder if there are any glitches in the Matrix over at Paragon Studios these days?
---
On a more related note, this is not a "detoggle" bug, it is a "loss of state" bug. Not only will your toggles shut down, any clicks you had recharging will be ready to use, even if you had another 900 seconds on your Overload still remaining.
As best as I can tell, this is because the character's current "state," which is to say buffs active, toggles running, power recharge states, active pets and so forth gets lost. When you zone into an instance, you don't move from the zone to the map. Your character is actually destroyed and a brand new character is spawned in the instance, with all of your old states applied to this new character. That's why you hear all of your toggles restart when you zone in or out - because they do. Your character zones in with NOTHING, then the game reads what was supposed to be running and THEN the game reapplies your toggles, buffs, debuffs, continuing DoT effects, resummons your henchmen and pets and so on. Ever notice how your passives and buffs rearrange when you zone? That's because they get reapplied all over again.
Something happening to the server that's causing it to lose that information in transit, so you spawn in the new map as though you'd just logged in for the first time in a week. -
I too got the Science Pack. Debated buying the Mac Pack but decided against it, and would have bought the Origins Pack had it been on sale.

Ugh, Wikia. The real Futurama wiki is the Infosphere: http://theinfosphere.org/Main_Page

Very nice interview! Already excited about I20!

My main reason for why I will be buying this, but why I didn't buy the Party Pack. I look at costumes on my characters ALL the time I'm playing them. I only use emotes when I'm bored and waiting for other players.
Not to mention that these are BEAUTIFUL costumes, and I already have perhaps half a dozen ideas for them. -
1. WS human form toggles have an extremely painful high pitch screech when they turn on. Fortunately it only lasts a couple seconds.
2. Demons roar is louder than is necessary and more frequent than is reasonable.
3. A revamp of sonic sounds would make a lot of sense with animation customization coming. Would be great to choose between vocal sounds and pew pew sounds depending on the source location of the power. -
I'll bring this back from a post I made during GR beta:
Heroes -> Lawful Good: A Lawful Good character typically acts with compassion, and always with honor and a sense of duty.
Vigilantes -> Neutral Good: A Neutral Good character is guided by his conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A Neutral Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them.
Resistance/Warden -> Chaotic Good: A Chaotic Good character favors change for a greater good, disdains bureaucratic organizations that get in the way of social improvement, and places a high value on personal freedom, not only for oneself, but for others as well. They always intend to do the right thing, but their methods are generally disorganized and often out of alignment with the rest of society.
Loyalist/Responsibility -> Lawful Neutral: A Lawful Neutral character typically believes strongly in Lawful concepts such as honor, order, rules and tradition, and often follows a personal code. A Lawful Neutral society would typically enforce strict laws to maintain social order, and place a high value on traditions and historical precedent.
Civilian -> Neutral: This alignment represents Neutral on both axes, and tends not to feel strongly towards any alignment. A farmer whose primary overriding concern is to feed his family is of this alignment.
Resistance/Crusader -> Chaotic Neutral: A character of this alignment is an individualist who follows his or her own heart, and generally shirks rules and traditions. Although they promote the ideals of freedom, it is their own freedom that comes first.
Loyalist/Power -> Lawful Evil: Characters of this alignment see a well-ordered system as being easier to exploit, and show a combination of desirable and undesirable traits; while they usually obey their superiors and keep their word, they care nothing for the rights and freedoms of other individuals and are not averse to twisting the rules to work in their favor.
Rogue -> Neutral Evil: Characters of this alignment are typically selfish and have no qualms about turning on their allies-of-the-moment. They have no compunctions about harming others to get what they want, but neither will they go out of their way to cause carnage or mayhem when they see no direct benefit to it. They abide by laws for only as long as it is convenient for them.
Villain -> Chaotic Evil: Characters of this alignment tend to have no respect for rules, other people's lives, or anything but their own desires, which are typically selfish and cruel. They set a high value on personal freedom, but do not have any regard for the lives or freedom of other people. -

Quote:Hmm, that puts me in an interesting spot...You can't pick a standard critter from a custom group as an objective. You have to pick your boss from the Standard group he belongs to, then change his group display name and description to match your custom group boss. And recolor him. It's all a big pain, but probably not a bug, just a limitation of the system.
I chose enough of the standard group to have at least one minion, one lt and one boss for every level range from 5 to 54, so I was hoping there was some way to have it pick the appropriate level boss from the custom group when the spawn was generated...
Impossible? -
I've created a custom enemy group by picking minions, lts and bosses from an existing group, recoloring them, and naming them something new. I have them set as the default group for the first mission of my arc, but I'm trying to place a final boss of the same group. When I try to choose the "Boss Enemy Group", that custom group doesn't show up, even though all my previous custom groups do.
I've tried logging out and back in, but it still isn't showing up on the list. I know it's not a problem with the group, because I've used that group in other objectives in the same mission.
What's going on?! -
My elec/SR brute Chronon is actually a micro-time traveller - his reflexes are a result of his going to the future to see where attacks go, and then coming back to a spot that won't be hit. His elec attacks are just the residue from his time travel energies releasing out of his suit, much like how a fluorescent light bulb works.
I also made a fire/storm corruptor named Nuee Ardente, and recolored all the powers to look like dust, smoke, steam and lava. -
Thank you for the support everyone. It has been a rough time.
@AThiker, aka Steve Meyers, passed away yesterday at about 4:30 PM. He had been in the emergency room since Friday due to an infection related to the lymphoma treatment, and had been on full life support since Tuesday. He passed surrounded by family.

David,
After reading all your replies (at midnight your time no less!) it sounds like you really want to make this change. Go for it. Get rid of the old costume pieces that look like crap and bring legacy stuff into 2010 with the rest of the costume pieces. They've been talking about upgrading buildings in Paragon City to be all shiny and new, and costume pieces are no different. -
It's one of the clues that has an annotated version of someone's background, and it mentions Old San Jose: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Robert...e_Law_Breaking

Ok, here me out. Praetoria is essentially a new New Orleans.
Here's my thinking. First, start with the description from the history, already mentioned above:
Quote:A giant monster had appeared somewhere in South America and was destroying every Praetorian Guard unit that encountered it. Entire cities were being leveled and the thing was moving steadily north toward Central America. When it crossed into Mexico, the Mexican government let loose with a small, but devastating stockpile of nuclear weapons they had purchased from America. They had no effect.
This was what Cole was destined for. Not wishing to see more of his Praetorian Guard killed, he went alone to face off against the beast. It was to be a showdown that would be remembered for all time.
...
Then, with a clap of thunder, the energy field around Cole shattered and the great beast shuddered, lumbered away, and then collapsed. Cole had defeated the beast, but he had also learned much more from his brief joining of minds.Quote:Praetoria stands at the location of Hamidon's first great defeat at the hands of Marcus Cole, the man who proved to the world that the Devouring Earth could be beaten.
Now, what about Praetoria itself?
Quote:Nova Praetoria is an artificial island built after the fall of First Ward during the Hamidon Wars. By design, it was to be the official seat of power for the new world order under Cole's direction.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wards_of_New_Orleans
If you were going to build an artificial island, you could do worse than Lake Pontchartrain:
Quote:It covers an area of 630 square miles (1630 square km) with an average depth of 12 to 14 feet (about 4 meters).
And what about Neutropolis?
Quote:the area now called Neutropolis was a sprawling industrial complex built alongside the Lethe River and the location of Dr. Raymond Keyes' revolutionary antimatter reactor. Built in the years leading up to the Hamidon Wars and designed to meet the energy needs of the entire eastern seaboard of the United States, this pivotal energy production site emerged as a flashpoint in that devastating conflict, one that could have decided the fate of humanity.
As chronicled by the researchers at the Cultural Direction & Education Center, the Devouring Earth targeted the antimatter reactor with a massive assault, the success of which would have severely crippled a broad swathe of the eastern U.S.
So, there you go. Praetoria is built on artificial islands near the ruins of New Orleans.
Of course, if the nuclear weapons made large craters that reshaped the landscape, or the history books are lying about the Hamidon Wars, Praetoria could be anywhere in the US. -
According to the official history, the Isles are only 20 to 50 miles off the coast. That cluster is more like 70 to 100 miles off the coast. However, I think it's more likely that the isles are much closer to the Cape Cod area, which means they're like a larger version of Nantucket, and still right in the crosshairs.
Edit: Also, at the point where you have the islands, it's a cat 2, weakening to a cat 1.
