I would appreciate a less doglike pet, too.
Mostly, though, i'd like an end to the unceasing howling. How many times in 8 years have we gone through this? There's even a checkbox to stop repeating sounds in the options menu!
Fortunately I've been doing incarnate stuff with that character and half the time I don't even bother with the pet because it dies so much. Which is pretty sad in it's own right, but it's nice to have an end to the howling. -
No and Never.
Shortly after taking that power is when I shelved my fire/devices blaster and haven't touched it since. I'm of the opinion that Time bomb and Trip mine are set-wrecking powers and should be excised from the game.
Fortunately, there are plenty of other powersets that I can enjoy playing. -
Quote:This is a big reason I won't start a new character on a server that I don't have a Supergroup Base on anymore. End Drain Resistance is another excellent empowerment buff you can use.A feature the I use all of the time that most either don't know about or have forgotten is the Empowerment table. I can't tell you how many players try to correct me when I say I need to craft a quick empowerment by saying "they're enhancements".
My all time favorite empowerments are the Increase Attack Rate (20% recharge boost), Grant Invisibility (the name is misleading as it gives you stealth rather than allowing you to stealth team mates), and Knockback Protection (in the early levels before acrobatics is available or for when you need to put off taking it for a while).
The best part is that they last for an hour
Beware, though: don't use Grant Invisibility if you're soloing "rescue the hostage" missions (which show up in radio/newspaper a lot). You'll need to find a buddy to help or wait out the hour for it to expire. -
My el-cheapo frankenslotted BS/WP scrap has 2 ACC IOs, LotG def/+rech, LotG def/end/rech, Red Fortune def/rech and Red Fortune def/end/rech.
It's every other attack.
Caveat: I hit fifty on this toon 3 and a half years ago. I don't play him much anymore; His alpha slot is unlocked is all, I think.
Your modern mileage may vary. -
I occasionally use it on my SS/SR brute to try and push mobs together.
I used to occasionally use hand clap on my fire/storm troller in conjunction with flashfire.
It doesn't get a whole lot of use on my other storm trollers because I have so many other more effective crowd control/debuff powers I want to use. -
The occasional street mob or ambush that will follow you across zones.
High level ambushes in lowbie zones. There was a DE ambush in steel the other day that showed up immediately after we'd started a posi. Seeing those scary purple mobs was a blast from the past, from back when it took forever to level out of a zone.
I'd love to see occasional random enemies show up in bases like they stumbled across the entrance or hunted the SG down. (I know this is impossible as a result of the pathing that allows us the base manipulation that I'm not willing to give up, but still - just dreaming). -
Don't forget to run the task forces. The big six are required for an accolade and often get you defeat badges in the process. You get clockwork gears in Synapse, and a load of paragon protectors in Manti, and one of the Striga TFs is good for Council Warwolves and Vampyri.
-
The existing ACC/DAM/SLOW/END/RECH sets are all well and good for melee toons that have damage aura toggles, but they're a bit lacking for a lot of troller and defender powers. I rarely slot any of the existing sets because half my slow powers don't use ACC or DAM or both.
Can we get a couple new sets that emphasize SLOW/END/RECH/RANGE, please? Even if they're only 4 or 5 slot sets. Please give me something I can use in those 3-slotted powers (1 END/1 RECH/1 SLOW) without throwing away bonuses.
Just an idea. -
Are the Martial Arts costume pieces the ones from the old MA Superbooster? Or are they New?

Quote:Or even a zone contact (like a TF) would be fine.Would love to see a method to return to lower level SG/Mayhem missions. Perhaps after running your required number of radio missions, you're offered a choice to run in any zone you've met the level requirement for... so a level 50 could run a bank mission in any zone. Whether this would exemp the character to the zone level or generate enemies at the character's level wouldn't matter to me, it's all about the badges.
Of course, making these missions available via Oroboros could also be an option.
I've jumped through hoops for friends who wanted these badges, they'd make a new toon to purposely get each of the bank missions (deliberately playing to limit their XP so they don't outlevel them). Then starting the bank mish, entering, waiting while they switch to their badge toon, then getting the exploration badge. -
Quote:Unless you have a mission teleporter and an SSD in your computer, chances are you'll get most, if not all, your health and end before you get back to where you died. That's been my experience. With that I feel we have most of the basic stuff that you can put in a base. We tried the Medbay, but you don't revive with full health, so it doesn't seem so useful.
Am I missing anything important?
Do you have Empowerment Stations?
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Base_Wor...ms#Empowerment
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Empowerment_Buff
I don't know why people seem to forget about the empowerment buffs, but I almost live off them with my squishies. End drain resistance alone is worth the cost. None of the buffs are life-changing, but they can give you the edge you need against tough mobs and they last an hour of in-game time. Plus, good way to use up common salvage that's not worth selling.
The limiting factor is that you make the 2nd tier station from the 1st, and the 3rd from the 2nd, but once you have the 3rd tier, it has all the recipes of the other two in it, so you can sell those back. Also, some of the recipes between tech and arcane are different, so I like to keep one of each on hand. ymmv. -
Stacker's three building lab videos on youtube are still the best source for placement, I think.

Well, that and now we have extra button control: Alt - rotate, Ctl - vertical and Shft - horizontal. -
How 'bout some sales on things other than pets?

Quote:Can we get a clarification as to EXACTLY WHEN this is going to happen? End of Summer, or between May 10th and May 18th? Or before May 10th? The announcement phrasing is ambiguous.1- When is Global Server Access going to be available?
Global Server Access will be available to all our active subscribers by the end of summer. We will have a more definite date for you at a later time so watch this space!
10- When can we expect a reactivation weekend in order to change our global handles?
The Reactivation will take place after Global server Access has been enabled between Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time (9:00 p.m. Eastern Time / 2:00 a.m. British Time / 3:00 Central European Time) and Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (2:59 a.m. Eastern Time / 7:59 a.m. British Time / 8:59 Central European Time). a free global handle token will be applied to all accounts affected by a global handle name collision. If you own 1 North American account and 1 European account with the exact same global handle, and one or both accounts have lapsed, the Reactivation weekend will allow you to change both global handles
End of Summer to me means August.
Also, I hope to hell you sent an email to all my ex-CoH playing friends about the reactivation week already. Because, I suspect, the point is not for current paying customers to be the only ones to know about it, am I right? Maybe get people to start playing again?

Pre-i20, hell yes. Post-i20, no.

Why are Ninja Run, the Jump Pack and the Zero-G Pack suppressed in Ouroboros now? Did someone jump off the map?
Flight works fine. -
I'll add my 2 cents.
I took Trapdoor out solo with two different characters: a L50 Stone/Electric brute and a L50 broadsword/willpower scrapper. Neither has purples or terribly expensive procs, but a good collection of IO sets.
The brute got him down about 40% before trapdoor turned up his regen. Pounded on him for a while, then ignored him and ran around killing a half dozen or more of his clones. I don't think he followed me. Went back and picked him right off. Presumably Seismic Smash was a big help here.
The scrapper couldn't hardly put a dent in him - lack of hold? I ran off to kill his first spawn and he followed, I killed it quick, went back to pounding on him. Rinse, repeat. At some point after I'd killed 4 or 5 clones I found I could take him out. Whether it was from knockdown interrupting his spawns or what, I don't know. I didn't have any holds.
FYI. -
I four-slot Health, too, but I do 2x Numina's (Heal and +regen/+rec) and 2x Miracle (Heal and +recovery). Some people like the Performance Shifter Chance for +End slotted in Stamina.
Also, work through all your sets and anything that isn't a full set, make sure you're using IOs that have END reduction in them. DAM/END rather than DAM/RECH 1/2s are better than 1/3s... so try DAM/END rather than ACC/DAM/END, and the like.
This may not apply to your build, but I start slotting IOs early, so sometimes when I get to fifty, I'll still have much lower level IOs... anything with an END component usually gets updated to a L50 IO first.
You could probably take a couple slots from Physical perfection and put those in a melee attack and put end reducers in'em. -
As a former recipient of your largess, I'd just like to say: You rule.
