In time Tank's brother Blaster wandered by to see what his brother was doing. Seeing his brother lost in a sea of foes, Blaster called out, "Brother Tank! Do you need help?" Tank replied "No. I shall put these in a box, just set them on fire and I shall bring more." So Tank piled many of the children of Drek into a box he had found and went to seek more, while Blaster amused himself setting them on fire.

In time Blaster's sister Defender wandered by to see what her brothers were doing. Seeing her brother lost in a sea of foes, Defender called out, "Brother Tank! Do you need help?" Tank replied, "No, I am putting these in a box so brother Blaster may set them on fire. Help him do it faster." Amused by the game Defender reached out her gifts to strengthen and speed her brother, who once more set it on fire, laughing to himself.

In time Defender's sister Controller wandered by to see what her siblings were doing. Seeing her brother lost in a sea of foes, Controller called out, "Brother Tank! Do you need help?" Tank replied, "No, I am putting these in a box so brother Blaster may set them on fire while sister Defender aids his strength and speed. Go help your sister." Amused, Controller reached out her pale imitations of her sisters gifts to aid her in her task, while Blaster once more set the box on fire, laughing to himself.

In time Controller's brother Scrapper wandered by to see what his siblings were doing. Seeing his brother lost in a sea of foes, Scrapper called out, "Brother Tank! Do you need help?" Tank replied, "No." So Scrapper amused himself by poking at the box while his brother set it once more on fire.

In time Statesman noticed his City was growing strangely quiet, and the challenges he had created for his children going unmet. So Statesman set out to see what his offspring were doing. Seeing his beloved son in a sea of foes, while his sibling sat playing with a box laughing inanely, Statesman called out, "Son Tank! Do you need help?" Tank replied, "No...", and so Statesman took half the power from each of his children and replied: "You do now!"

Thus a lesson was learned.

With this Xmas prestige grant I bit the bullet and got the 12x12 plot. Soo much space for one lil guy, but oh well I'm nowhere near as creative as some of you guys (DCP,McG) This is kinda the limit of my creativity. I'm wondering what size vents you used for the lettering.

Also, is there a way for us to see which salvage is tech, which is magical, etc? All I see is "Fir bolg salvage" and such.

Lastly, any possibility, I could take a tour of your base for ideas? I hate to ask but I'm very impressed!

If you don't mind my asking... about how long did it take you to create the entire thing?

I looked through all 9 pages, but didn't see these... I apologize if these are repeats:

1. Please allow us to organize our storage compartments. So, if I want a Rune from my Salvage storage, I don't have to scroll through 750+ items to find it. Please allow tabs, or at the very least, when we add salvage, it's placed alphabetically... so I can quickly scroll to the "R"s, for example.

2. A "holding place" for constructed items. So, if I want to redesign my base, I can temporarily "hold" the TP pads in an unseen room while I do so... then I can simply retrieve the TP pads from the room to place them back in their new home. This will help not having to rebuild items.

Nice idea about the museum as well.

I think NCSoft would be wise in making EVERY facet of this OPTIONAL so that if I want to play with anonymity, I can do that (at least as much as I can in-game )

I tried an Earth/Kin before I tried the Earth/Rad . . . I liked the Earth/Rad better. I have played a Kin Defender into the 40's so I know the set. The problem I had with Earth/Kin is that Kin forces you to be in melee . . . . while the Earth Control set is all ranged (except for Salt Crystals, which most people skip). Sure, you can use your AoE controls in melee, but it draws a lot of aggro, and the range helps reduce damage (of course, so does RI). When you draw all that aggro, Kin has almost no defensive powers to protect you . . . all you can do is go into melee and heal.

Ironically enough, my character was named. "Dirt Napper," and he spent a lot of time doing just that. However, if you can last out those low levels, a speed boosted Rocky is pretty effective.

Hmm, that's definitely something to consider. Admittedly, I was just thinking how sweet a speed-boosted rocky would be (as you suggested).

I suppose an AM-buffed Rocky isn't bad either.

I just loooooove kinetics so much! And I always get flustered with the anchors and END usage of rad/ or /rad.

(I know it's something with which I need to work, however! It's not the powerset's fault)

I used to have a mini-guide for Ill/Kin but it got purged and I never rewrote it.

The combo is very good, lighter on endurance than ill/rad.

First thing first: make your toon either Magic or Tech origin so that they can use their origin "temp" power to light the oil slick, otherwise you will have to wait till you can get the fire epic, and believe me, you want that oil slick lit!

Since Ill has little in the ay of setting containment, both entangle and ice arrow can be used to set up containment.

Ice Arrow+ Blind will hold a boss, which is very handy.

The phantom army (and all other controller pets) has a bug that causes them to run out of hte slick when you light it, it's unfortunate but PA doesn't loose agro and comes right back, so it still serve its purpose.

You want all arrows, except maybe flash arrow (I didn;t think it -acc made a lot of difference).

In a lot of ways Ill/TA is similar to Ill/rad, in that you use a variety of debuffs to help increase PA damage. you don't get a heal (unless you take medicine) and no AM. Once the other hand your debuffs are location based, not anchored which can be kinda nice.

In the late game, glue arrow+disruption arrow+oil slick+fireball is beautiful!

I built my toon as a ranged only, Superior Invis always on toon.

In my build, Phantasm has a pretty low key role: I stay at a distance of 70+ feet, so Phantasm usually doesn;t aggro on the mobs since his aggro range is about 40'. It's sometimes a good thing since he could knock the mobs of your AoE (especially slick) with his energy torrent. The nice thing is that he acts as your bodyguard for anyone getting too close, and with decoys of his own, he can do a pretty good job.

I'd have to look at my notes for slotting (which is still SOs only, I have never ported him to IOs), but I know I was careful to be able to slot my arrows so they could all be used from 70 feet away, and worked the recharge time so that they would come back all around the same time, so I could work a rythm.

I'm not sure I'd use some of those powers, but at least if I wanted to create more of a "RP" type character, these would be quite valuable!
