I'm a big fan of Image and Top Cow. Don't have any particular artists or writers, really, I don't pay as close attention as I should, I suppose.


Of course, I grew up on radically different 'comics' than most... Underground and Zap! Comics, Fabulus Furry Freak Brothers, Heavy Metal magazine, et cetera.

Ever see a ski event at the Winter Olympics?

Now, imagine someone stretching a net across the course. Even if the skier misses the net, they will most likely go out of control, miss the next set of gates, crash, etc. The interference just cost them their medal.

Poser is by and large a "mannequin" program, which can be used by itself, or in conjunction with Photoshop or Manga Studio or GIMP or any other graphics program to visualize a scene.

The program itself isn't all THAT expensive. What gets you are the PROPS (clothing, textures, poses, scenery, etc etc etc). Some people are good enough to actually make their own - the rest of us make do with what we can scrape together or outright buy.

Funny you should ask... a while back a lot of us rolled up "alts" of our signature characters on Liberty, as part of the Envisionaries, Dark Envisionaries, and Revisionaries groups, for this very purpose.

Not sure who's in charge of it now, BUT... I would think anyone who frequents the art forum (either as an artist or an art collector) would be welcome.
