Okay guys I'm back with a new poster to share with you!
This one took a while because the author was quite specific (always a good thing) meant I had to research and find out the style and what I was doing to try and make this poster a good'un. After literally weeks of searching I managed to find the right elements to execute the poster!
Took around 5-6 hours from scratch (after I had all the bits and pieces) and I had some computer trouble near the beginning so I had to remake it as well!
Let me know what you think guys or any suggestions how to make it better.
Next is Electro-cute! I'll try to be a little quicker on this one... -
Well truth be told first time was 87.88%. I did it again and re-guessed what I'd got wrong the first time and got 100%

Myself, I think I won't be able to get online as much as I'd hoped, but I still will try to raise my Spines/Fire scrapper from the mid-thirties to as close to 50 as I can

The only update I can give you guys is that I made a couple of wallpapers about Going Rogue, featuring Maelstrom and Desdemona they are the same renders we all know and love but I placed them in a different background.

As far as anything else GR related thats official... I guess we'll have to wait for that blue mo-- i mean the upcoming meet/con thing? -
Just thought I'd give you guys a bit of a status update.
I've been busy setting up the previous posters I've done for everyone on DeviantArt, and you can see them Here on my DA Page along with 2 Wallpapers I did for Going Rogue as a bit of a break from the posters (it's all I'd been doing for a while).
But now I'm back on track and working towards a poster for @Lord Mayhem's fantastic arc (it's really good!). I'm finding getting the style down (Film Noir) more difficult than I thought as it's hard to get Film Noir Stock.
Still I'm hoping to get this poster done by the end of the week!

Hi guys! Just to let you all know that I'm not dead and i've definitely NOT given up on the arc posters! I'm currently working on Lord Mayhem's arc poster, which is quite intricate in details and the idea behind it so it's proving time intensive to find everything I need.
In the meantime I've been doing 2 wallpapers for Going Rogue that was meant as a bit of a break from the arc posters because that's all I've done for a while now. If you want to check out the wallpapers and download them, go to My DeviantArt Account (newly created)

Ok guys I have followed through and I've uploaded a Wallpaper Pack to my DeviantArt Page, improving the wallpaper slightly and making it easier for you to get it in the right size for you!
On another note, I've also slaved away and done a second wallpaper for you guys!
This one was a nightmare to execute, I found a couple of good source images for desdemona and I settled on the render from the Going Rogue wallpapers, so I cut her out, heavily edited her and created a background (some of which is taken from the trailer) and well its taken a very long time to do it justice but I think its worth it in the end.

Well I was looking through the different wallpapers that are on the City of Heroes websites (EU and US.. some are different!) and I thought I'd try my hand at one.
The difficult thing I've discovered about making a wallpaper is that the image should have a central focus or a point to it, and that it has to be something you want to look at more than once.. it has to have replay value.
So with that in mind this is what I came up with (based upon maelstrom as found in Going Rogue).

Of the 2 english speaking servers, they say Union is the best for RPing. I don't do it myself, but even I know that on Union the RPers meet at 9pm under the Galaxy Girl Statue.

Alright folks this will be the last poster I do while I'm on holiday lol...
I thought I'd surprise you and knock another one out the park. This time? Lady Arete!
The arc features biker gangs and night clubs. It's surprisingly difficult to find any decent pictures or source material ideas for these things, but managed to find some with the aid of friends.

Okay well I'm true to my word! This is definitely before the end of the week...
I spent all this morning downloading the Photoshop CS4 trial from Adobe, and this afternoon I carried on developing the concept I showed ReclusesPhantom and under further instruction the following is what I ended up with:
Recluses asked for a destroyed city scene in the background so I thought..."hey that's a good idea" little did I know it would take 2 weeks of searching to find a suitable image! After playing around with lighting levels and textures that would accent a more grungy look, and re-downloading fonts etc that would be incorporated into the image I came up with something that was both atmospheric and seemed interesting too. Let me know what you guys think!
Onwards to the next poster! -

Ok guys I'm not going to mislead you into thinking I have a new poster to post (I could post a proof but its only half complete and I dont really want to post half complete when I cant edit it)
What I am really doing here is just letting you know that the last couple of weeks turned out to be some of the most hectic of the year, but not to fear and just letting you guys know I'm still alive!
Currently I'm on holiday back home for a week for a much deserved (well, that's what I think!) rest and if I can I'll install photoshop on this rustbucket of a pc and continue my latest poster and have something up for you to observe and critique by the end of the week!
