    Yes he has 100% resistance

    [/ QUOTE ]

You are referring to the EoB event, yeah, pretty much. The final version won't.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I know the pratorian version of this guy has 100% resist to all but psi when he hits unstoppable.

You activate the eagles claw power
You eagles claw back alley brawlerleader for 0 smashing damage
You critical back alley brawlerleader with your eagles claw for an additial 0 lethal damage

    [/ QUOTE ]

I can confirm that he has 100% RES to smashing but LBE and Energy Torrent did some damage to him.

It took for FREAKING EVER, and I would eat up all the insps that their minions dropped, but I could do it.. One at a time, with DP and IH up, but I did it. Gave more XP then the "Kill x whatever" mish I was on when I was fighting them.

Honestly, if this is "nerfed" regen, I'm really, really, REALLY scared of the power of an un-nerfed regen.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    The same minus the insps.
  3. Back in i3 I fought a standard Freak spawn in Brickstone when my scrapper hit 28 (2 minions 1 boss all lvl 32). I didn't have Golden Dragonfly/Headsplitter yet but I did have Parry. Every time the tank hit me, I had to run (no suppression) because he'd usually hit me for 3/4 of my HP. I eventually took the spawn down but I found it to be too much of a bother with the XP/Time ratio being so poor.

Outside of this one instance, I never tried to solo a +4 boss. As a side note, I've been alpha stuck more times than I can count by 2 +1 freak and rikti bosses.
  4. Yes, Golden Dragonfly is considered a cone attack. Yes, it's currently bugged.
  5. The main reason it was a bug, not only would you miss, but you wouldn't even get the MISS above your target's head.
  6. I say Castle for President in 2008.

I don't get this. Give pushback resistance to melee sets, when melee sets are the only folks that pushback powers are useful against. Why bother having pushback powers?

    I'm guessing you've never been TP'd into a corner.

    100% value = 80% base damage increase. 125% = 100% base damage increase.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Hmm...
    100%=80% and 125%=100%
Castle, do you always deal in fuzzy math?

Does this also mean that 125%=80%

    [/ QUOTE ]

    .8 x 1 = .8
    .8 x 1.25 = 1

    Whats so fuzzy about that?

Toggle-dropping is annoying as all crap. Keep it out of PvE, and, pleasepleaseplease, look into replacing it with something else in PvP, too!

As for him being a part of the respec trial... that makes even less sense. I hate the fact that a perfect team has to get together for a respec. Most of the time you've gimped yourself when you've signed up for it. I just want to go to Steel Canyon, defeat 20 Tsoo, and /respec. Instead it feeds min/maxers and here I thought that the devs were trying to stop that. You can keep these insane respec trials around... just give us an IoP instead of a respec.
  10. Good job again Frost. Only thing I'd like to add is the following...

    [ QUOTE ]

Increase Density (Ranged, +Res( Hold, Immobilize, Disorient, Knockback, Smashing/Lethal damage), -SPD) - Increase Density is kinetics status effect reducing power, being able to break someone out of every effect except for sleeps, confuses and fears. In place of this protection, it has a couple of additional benefits that Clear Mind doesn't have. First is Knockback protection, useful for those Dark Armor scrappers in your life . Second is the substantial resistance to smashing/lethal damage which it provides.

    [/ QUOTE ]

ID also resists energy damage and makes your buffed teammate Immune to Repel effects (mainly in PvP).
  11. Cool nice to see the winner of the cookie. Yeah it happened in i5 at the same time as the fix for def stacking issues like SR and FF.
  12. I never thought the devs were lying... if anything it just ticked us off because we seemed to know more about their own game than they did.

The MoG "nerf" happened when CuppaJo posted what powers gave DEF to what. When we noticed that MoG was lacking Psi and Toxic DEF, someone commented that it must have had BASE DEF like PFF. I wish I could find the thread, whoever that poster was, hit the nail on the head.

    Edit:
Now admit that you nerfed Integration (along with all other mez protection).
  13. DM/DA at first, but I'll probably have as many Brutes as I have Scrappers (I've got 5 lvl 50s and probably a couple dozen lowbies).
  14. You're still using the old numbers for TK, CK, CAK, and EC.
  15. Or when a version of IH was pushed live that was never on test. By the time this happened, everyone was used stealth changes though.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
well, looks like the Issue 6 Regen nerf has been confirmed AND in true dev fashion, the nerf was completely unguessed.

    * Changed Long and Short Help of Moment of Glory to clarify which Defenses it offers.

So they took the Psy def out of MoG, told us it was never there in the first place and then changed the description so that no one else gets the idea that MoG can defend versus Psy.

Grats devs, truly an inspired and underhanded move.

    [/ QUOTE ]

At least they nerfed a power that no one really cared about... even though they gave me a flashback from the first Integration nerf.
  17. The title of this thread is oxymoronic. I'm not holding my breath.

    RP server survey

No other server beats Virtue in RP... not that I'm bragging or anything. Between Gemini Park, being invited to PUGs that RP, and people that RP at a Hami Raid I think no other server can beat Virtue.

Things are getting more and more complicated instead of the other way around....

You know I'm really tempted to start a new regenner and purposely skip everything past Int.

    [/ QUOTE ]

works fine on my lvl 31 DM/Reg so far.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Same for my Kat/Regen, MA/Regen, and Spines/Regen. The PvP builds are a little different though.

Revive is a lackluster power. Weakest of the self rez powers and as with all of them requires you to be defeated to even be useful. Personally I would rather take something that helps prevent that defeat then take a power I can only use if defeated.

    [/ QUOTE ]

At least Revive isn't the level 32/38 power.

    *cough*Riseofphoenix*cough*

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, Revive is our level 35 power. I just find it funny that we wait 35 levels to get a power that can almost be simulated with an inspiration. I actually like some useless powers in a build, that way I can fit in power pools easier.
  22. Yup, QR and DP have to get the bat. In Issue 7 they'll have to nerf Revive and Resilience because they're about the only things left un-nerfed.
  23. I can still get pwnd in PvP buy ToHit. Thanks for the help in PvE tho.
  24. [ QUOTE ]
You attempted to assert priority by arguing which stealth nerfing happened first. Clearly EF did. Feel free to cast about for some way to make Regen the poster boy for stealth nerfs if you will, but that misses the point entirely.

    [/ QUOTE ]

FYI regen was stealth nerfed this issue too, Instant Healing's recharge and duration are different from any incarnation that was on test.
  25. Geas of the Kind Ones... insta death for SR and Ice Tanks... as if they needed any more help in i5.
