    While I agree the costume slots are way overpriced even at the 600 point "sale", I can honestly say from a programming and policy perspective that pricing costume slots on a per-character basis is a recipe for disaster. Personally, I think the costume slots should be 200-400 Paragon Points/slot. I also think the enhancement trays should be capped at 400 Paragon Points instead of the ridiculous 1,600 Paragon Points.

    Yeah, Zwill let slip that I was pretty much bang-on my assessment of the situation.

    The awarding of the badges worked for Freedom launch, but broke the same time. However, they have a large list of things that have "greater priority" over these badges.

    So yeah, maybe if we all sent petitions about not getting the badges we might get the priority raised.

    I should note that quick masks and layer masks are the same thing as far as photoshop is concerned.

    Any mask is a grey-scale image. The really great trick is that you can use these masks to make partial or even "soft" selections where the selection is at partial strength. You can use these complicated selections with filters to adjust the strength of the effects. You can also use them as soft cutting tools.

    Well, it is no longer 5 minutes for the queue. It is now 90 seconds.

    As to the non-VIP, a few patches ago the game did give an error message, but that seems to have disappeared.

    The best you can do at this point is to click on every player in the league, if they show as +1, that person is a VIP. I know that it isn't a solution, but at least it narrows who it could possibly be.

    Of course if you want to use Demon Summoning after the free month of VIP access, you have to somehow unlock MMs (subscribing, buying an unlock, or getting enough Paragon Reward Tokens). The Electric Control set is available on Dominators, but if you want to use it on a Controller, you'll have to unlock those too (same restrictions as Master Minds).

    * +400 PP (depending on what Paragon Reward Tier), +1 Reward Token for month's access.

    In a way I really hate that you actually recommend this way to contact support. Why? Have someone take a look at this incident:

    I'm not going to name GMs, but the initial GM parroted misinformation, despite the fact that I explained in my petition that I knew that the in-game GM could not help me. I had to patiently explain that what he was telling me did not happen to my account. The same goes for the first escalation when the first out of game GM pointed to a knowledge base article that directly contradicted my petition (the fact that my February stipend was not awarded on the same day of the month as my December 2011 and January 2012 stipends).

    It was only because I then included a screenshot of my billing screen from the website account page that I got a GM that looked into the situation. The fourth GM contact finally informed me that the stipend was awarded, 6 days after the scheduled date.

    Yet they are still hiding this information. Back in October, I directly asked when I was supposed to get my stipend and my paragon rewards tokens. This information should appear both in the in-game account page and on the NCsoft account page ( https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/plaync_login.pl ). The Veteran Rewards program was up front with this information on a player's account page, yet it was removed with the change to the Paragon Rewards System. If the Paragon Rewards System was as transparent as the Veteran Rewards, that would have gone a long way to killing this thread (and other threads of this nature).

    And, yes, I know that this was directly caused by (a) the Web Team and (b) the Billing Team. However, they follow directions from someone and both groups are answerable to that person who dropped the ball.

    That would be because your team qualified for the Synchronized badge. The first time you are on a league that qualifies for that you get the Astral + 1 Uncommon Salvage, every time after (once per trial) you get +1 Astral Merit.

    Again, your group qualified for a badge or badges. If you collect the "Master of" for a trial, you get a random rare component instead (first time only, no extra Astral Merits though).
