Besides, I didn't say the developers hated both sides equally. If anything they are probably laughing at the badge community more than either "plain" heroes or villains.

Identified the 2 Villain/Rogue-Only badges, and the 4 Hero/Vigilante-Only badges. Also marked the 2 mutually exclusive Hero/Vigilante badges (you can't get them the same run through the arc, so you have to use flashback at least once).
The developers hate both heroes and villains.

Back when the RV method to get Isolator was first introduced it also introduced the first time a villain had the potential to earn a "hero only" badge. At the time the Devs were not too keen on the idea of people being able to earn cross-factional badges and they supposedly changed some code to make it uniquely impossible for redsiders to get Isolator that way. What that means is that there could still be some old code in there which would prevent redsiders from even earning credit for RV Isolator.

Not because of this player. To me the costume set was a great part of the Super Packs, but it was only that, a part of them. I feel I got a lot of other great stuff for my points in those packs. In fact, I bought a second set of 24 on each of my accounts after I had unlocked the full costume set on both accounts in each of the first sets of 24 I had bought.
If the Devs annouced tomorrow that they decided to sell the costume set separately starting next week, I would not at all begrudge them. As long as it didn't mean they were discontinuing the practice of Super Packs for those of us who like them. -

You don't know that. The same objection was leveled on the Joker in The Dark Knight: his plans seem to require omniscience. But actually, few people bothered to ask what would have happened if things *hadn't* gone according to the plan. The Joker absolutely *loves* chaos: if things had not gone to plan, he would have just changed his plan so that it did. What if he wasn't arrested and taken to the police station? Same with Wade. Its not just possible but likely that his plan involves dozens or hundreds of contingencies mapped out over years, and for every one we see there's dozens that are just sitting around unused because it didn't go that way. That's what makes a good planner: someone who anticipates every possible alternative and creates a contingency for it. So that no matter what happens, it looks like that was what was anticipated all along.
Jeez I do that for my job and the stakes aren't nearly as high for me as "cosmic level superpowers." If that was the payoff at the end of any of my projects, I would have more contingencies than Wade.
