Quote:Updated the first post with a "plain" list of badges by category.Haven't read beyond the first post because, well, I don't want "spoilerz". But is there any way a spoiler-free version of the list can be constructed? I'd like to know what I'm getting into to some degree, although I suppose that could be problematic if there are spoilers in the actual badge names as opposed to just the badge text (which would be idiotic if that were the case).

Quote:I'm going to say no...Apparently, the soldiers in the Vanguard base briefing area are all named after people War Witch went to school with
Unless she went to school with a "Private Mould", "Private Jenkins", or worse: "Private Benjamin". -
Ignorance of the EULA is not protection against it.
They won't track you down, but any likeness using the game art is owned by them, as well as any backstory related to the game.
Short answer: Don't, just don't. -

Quote:Yeah, but the heroes have to run the arc twice.- don't know about equally hating heroes and villains... heroes get 2 more badges on the whole with this issue (2 arcs with badges in SC vs. the one in Cap)
Besides, I didn't say the developers hated both sides equally. If anything they are probably laughing at the badge community more than either "plain" heroes or villains.

Identified the 2 Villain/Rogue-Only badges, and the 4 Hero/Vigilante-Only badges. Also marked the 2 mutually exclusive Hero/Vigilante badges (you can't get them the same run through the arc, so you have to use flashback at least once).
The developers hate both heroes and villains. -
Quote:Well... Duh... Maybe the reason why it hasn't been found is that Praetoria is pretty much devoid of players. In zones where you get returning players asking if they suck, would you really expect players to linger?"I don't even know if they've figured out the Easter Egg in Praetoria yet. I don't remember reading about that one Easter Egg with the Clockwork Venders. I don't know if they've figured it out yet."
"Whaaaaat?"
"I just gave a major hint though, just now."
"Uh, oh. Now we're going to see like a forum thread pop up 'What's This Easter Egg?!?' "
"And I never said one word because I wanted people to kinda discover it on their own. I kept it secret. Maybe I just didn't catch the forum post but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen any." -
Quote:Back when Going Rogue went live, villains that switched to heroes got the Isolator badge or credit towards it.I probably would not "presume" that unless someone has actually tested it.
Quote:Back when the RV method to get Isolator was first introduced it also introduced the first time a villain had the potential to earn a "hero only" badge. At the time the Devs were not too keen on the idea of people being able to earn cross-factional badges and they supposedly changed some code to make it uniquely impossible for redsiders to get Isolator that way. What that means is that there could still be some old code in there which would prevent redsiders from even earning credit for RV Isolator.
I do agree with this however. Only the most self-hating person would try to rack up RV Isolator credit. -
Seeing the list is mostly fixed at this point. Info posted in the public section.

Color Coded the building names and maps with Red, Green, and Blue.

Quote:I'm fine with them leaving the packs in the market if there was a way to directly buy the costume and vanity pet.Not because of this player. To me the costume set was a great part of the Super Packs, but it was only that, a part of them. I feel I got a lot of other great stuff for my points in those packs. In fact, I bought a second set of 24 on each of my accounts after I had unlocked the full costume set on both accounts in each of the first sets of 24 I had bought.
If the Devs annouced tomorrow that they decided to sell the costume set separately starting next week, I would not at all begrudge them. As long as it didn't mean they were discontinuing the practice of Super Packs for those of us who like them. -

Random image snagged from google search that highlighted the quick mask button. I'm currently swamped with stuff and didn't want to spend a lot of time making a full tutorial, sorry.
Maybe in a few days I'll make a step-by-step tutorial with screenshots. -
Quote:Yeah, I had already figured that out. Then again, I've had the... experience... of working for a small division in a multinational company (two actually, as one sold the division to another).Don't worry, I'm sure it will take a while before the forumites realize you're the one in charge of resource allocation and timetables.
Wait, was that my inside voice or my outside voice. Oops.
So... City of Aliens? City of Moonbase? Aliens abducting Beastyle for mousse?
And seeing we know you can do it... Why not a Ustream tour of Paragon Studios from your iPhone? Are the alien overlords worried that you might reveal their plans too soon? -
Quote:The $4 was, in part, interest for the delay of paying that $28 million. The appealed the initial judgement and were denied. I saw nothing about an extra $4 mil.
But at the point where you are already ponying up $28 million, does another $4 million actually matter that much?

I know of 4 senior GM's for this game by name. I've had dealings with 2 in-game GMs, and 2-3 between those two groups. -
Quote:I'm convinced that the developers want to get placed on as many http://tvtropes.org pages as possible. You don't know that. The same objection was leveled on the Joker in The Dark Knight: his plans seem to require omniscience. But actually, few people bothered to ask what would have happened if things *hadn't* gone according to the plan. The Joker absolutely *loves* chaos: if things had not gone to plan, he would have just changed his plan so that it did. What if he wasn't arrested and taken to the police station? Then he would have gone there and surrendered. He didn't actually have to *count* on being arrested: there were lots of ways he could have gotten there fully under his control. The fact that he got arrested was itself probably a glitch in his plan.
Same with Wade. Its not just possible but likely that his plan involves dozens or hundreds of contingencies mapped out over years, and for every one we see there's dozens that are just sitting around unused because it didn't go that way. That's what makes a good planner: someone who anticipates every possible alternative and creates a contingency for it. So that no matter what happens, it looks like that was what was anticipated all along.
Jeez I do that for my job and the stakes aren't nearly as high for me as "cosmic level superpowers." If that was the payoff at the end of any of my projects, I would have more contingencies than Wade.

In this case it is the "Batman Gambit". -
Quote:FYI: The Marketing department is not responsible for the prices on the Market. The group that is responsible for the prices is the Business Management group, led by Ghost Falcon. It's not just Black Pebble it's the whole marketing department and all the marketing department for ncsoft for that matter I just hate them lol.
Marketing is tasked with taking the items and making them look attractive enough to buy. In other words, the market newsletters.
Again, I'm all for getting annoyed with the company for their mistakes. Just try to blame the right people. It tends to be more effective that way. -
Beastyle, before he left, said I should let you know about this so the OCR team could "highlight" it for everyone to see.
I left the main version (with hints to the inside portion) in the Guides section:
TPN Incarnate Trial map. -
Updated the original map.
You might have to shift+refresh your browser to see the change.

Quote:Save it to your desktop as an Excel file, then open Google docs, then import the saved Excel file to -your- Google docs. Turn sharing off if needed. And, yes, that is why my -personal- version is on my computer, not Google docs.I'm a google doc newbie.
It looksl ike I could export the spreadsheet to excell locally on my harddrive (or to my Dropbox folder so I can share it between computers since I don't always play from the same location), but is there a way to save it into "my google documents" in the cloud so that I can have access to it from everywhere, but without sharing my toons with the rest of the people reading this post?
Not that I know of, but haven't looked. -
Quote:Actually his words were somewhere between "Very Soon™" and "Imminent™".If that's a direct quote from Zwillinger, then according to Snow Globe's scale, we should see Issue 22 in "Around a week to two weeks away. Often accompanied with a hint in meme form referencing the thing that's coming."
