The badge mission via flashback is a stand-alone 75 minute timed mission. If it was not a single door and it wasn't timed then, to quote the knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, you chose poorly.

Just putting this out there: As a general thought, don't do the Silver or Gold time challenges with others unless you already have the Silver or Gold.

Do them by themselves. The reason should be self-evident as the other challenges make getting the arc done on time harder.

While free, Gimp has a steep learning curve. It also has the same problem as PDF printing -- static images.

Yeah, I guess I should have clarified that statement for everyone. There is the issue with links in PDFs (ie editing).

Those solutions would require a serious real-money investment to pull off. Indesign is around $700, Photoshop is about the same. The Adobe Suite is even more (unless there was a student discount). Just not practical for the long term.

I will point out that all these ideas (and a couple more) are being explored by the staff.

The forum migration has caused no end of trouble for layout (all HTML is automatically re-written into bulletin code for instance), and there is no way to control (or even predict) the results once it leaves layout to be "published" by the admins.

There is some work happening behind the scenes, but it is dependent on real life stuff and solving the "forums issue".

On behalf of the Scoop staff, I thank you for your compliments. I hope that there will be a happy announcement that the Scoop can make soon.

Sadly, that is the best method to get the badge.

Check the list of villain flashbacks for family. To tell you the truth though, not one of those arcs come close to street hunting in terms of efficiency.

Get a group of 7 level 28+ MMs, a CoT pain crystal, and a CoT guide. Set all the MM pets to passive around the pain crystal (and around the corr). Target the guide with Twilight Grasp.

Not all disagreements have to be hostile . Perhaps a better choice of words would be where we "differ".

Actually there is always one group on those maps that does not have any Protectors in it.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few annoying "delivery" missions before you get to the mission you want, but they aren't hard. Once you get "Find Paragon Protectors evidence", you're golden. Sometimes you can get the badge you want in only 1 run if spawned for a full team.
Depends on if you have any progress on it before. I've counted the amount on a full team, and it is around 90 7th Gen PPs on the map each time. As you need 200 for the badge, if starting from zero, it takes just over two runs to get the badge.
  12. It is interesting to see where we agree and disagree on the specific badge hunts.

Yuck. Not needed in the least. Besides I think at last look Positron had 890 badges for both sides and including some badges that are not available to players at all.

    History
    Accomplishment
    Defeats
    etc.

I would like to think that badge LOSS wouldn't occur, but stranger things have happened.
    List of possible problem badges:

Isolator. Villains were specifically blocked from getting this badge according to Positron. This was designed for the RV contaminated.

Multidimensional. Villains were able to get it for a month, and then it was stripped from them 1 month after issue 7 launch.

Fire Thorn Caster gladiator. Stripped from villain characters during the Issue 7 patch.

Button Man Gunner gladiator. Stripped from villain characters during the Issue 7 patch.

Nebula Buckshot gladiator. Stripped from villain characters during the Issue 7 patch.

Villain Disruptor. I believe this was blocked on villains.

Hero Slayer. I believe this was blocked on heroes.

These badges have anti-side code on them. If you are on the wrong side, the game removed the badges from your character after getting them.

Four years now, and the only question not covered by the FAQ (which I developed and the specific badge FAQ was moved to paragonwiki.com by Sister_Leortha) is the AE question.

As to the checklist, I made a couple of those too:
Printable checklist created by Snow_Globe (Black and white version)

It is to my continual annoyance that even after four years that one badge literally dominates the number of badge questions people have.

Repeated requests for a proper (in game) way to determine which AVs are missing or needed have fallen on deaf ears. This applies to all the other multi-requirement badges (vandal, IO crafting badges, accolades). It is just that the Dimensional Warder is a key component to an accolade.

Among the possible solutions that have been proposed:
    * Tech developed to show detailed stats on badge progress.
    * A badge created for sub objectives (1 for each AV needed for Dimensional Warder, 1 for each component of Vandal, etc.)
    * The now defunct stats website (City Vault) that was going to be created.

Yes, PNG file with transparency. I masked the 300 dpi version to clean up most of the scan, so I just used the mask to delete the background then shrunk it to 100x100 pixels.

Most editing programs do it. My program choice: Photoshop
