I think I may just pick one of my toons, take him to test. respec into something specifically for the RSF and bust out 10 billion temp powers. Forget the "no temp" restriction and go totally crazy on them.

I want a hero to be level 22 to 35. He is currently level 1. I want him to sit in a corner while he makes his journey to that level.
I will repay by getting a villain to the same level.

then you posted in the wrong thread.
PS, I've seen thugs in action, you CAN'T PL someone faster then him, its scary. If I ever needed something PLed on freedom redside, he'd be the one to do it. Well, or me.
[/ QUOTE ]
So your logic is...
I've seen A.
I haven't seen B.
Therefore A is faster and B "CAN'T" be faster.
Did I get that right? How fast do you think I do it in?
*EDIT*
Also, I fail to see what your point is in posting in this thread. I posted about "Power Level trading" in the "Power Level trading" thread.
The forum game section is above. -
@Smurphy
I was looking for the same thing the opposite way. I can cover any amount at those rates. Heck... if anyone else wants to do the same I'll do it as well. Feel free to ask around if I'm good for it. -
Many Sonic blast toons have periods of time when they don't have Shriek, Scream nor Howl recharged. These times are great for Shout. For single target attack chains one only needs to look for holes between Shriek and Scream.
Some irrational players might think that if you have holes between these you are "bad". Everyone has to start somewhere. As a lowbie you are very likely to have such holes. These holes are well filled by Shout. If later in life you are using Shout less or not using it at all then drop it. -

But it could also mean that they have a more tedious road ahead of them, depending on how their server's market is playing out.
[/ QUOTE ]
The markets are cross server. Were you using the words "server's market" to mean something other than Wentworth's and the Black Market? -
Until the devs start working 24/7 I'll be unsatisfied.
-
I'd recommend starting by taking shout. If you ever get to the point where you don't use it... then drop it. Usually it takes a bit of global recharge to make Scream, Shriek and Howl viable as a trio.

So you are going to control two characters at the same time? If that's the case, then duo Thug/Pain because the 2nd /pain can just put on auto aoe and use World of Pain whenever it's up.
[/ QUOTE ]
The downside to that plan is that an AoE heal is virtually worthless to a well constructed and played Mastermind duo. -
Nice work! That fish in a potato sack is super tough!

[ QUOTE ]
Well, once Smuphy lets go of his name there's no way to control who else takes it. First person to switch their handle to Smurphy after it's free gets it. So really there's nothing for this Smurphy to be selling, in that regard.
[/ QUOTE ]
I could tell them when I relinquish the name. We could coordinate a time in advance. How many people do you think are out there trying to get my name 24/7 or would be lucky enough to snag it first. -
[ QUOTE ]
Wow sounds good. Might try and go with the SS/Shield and Fire/Kin.
Also, what would be a good Tankermind/Corr or Dom combo?
We may do both. lol
[/ QUOTE ]
Masterminds are very good at killing things but the pets are simply too stupid to harness Fulcrum shift and their aoes to maximum super efficient potential. You can enjoy kicking butt with your mastermind and some people enjoy farming on them. Mathematically, they are simply 1/2 or less the speed of a Brute.
I'd recommend a set that adds area of effect damage. /Dark, /Storm, /Trick Arrow. Force Field, Pain and Traps can add a little bit of damage but I like the massive area of effect minus resistance of the other 3 sets. -
[ QUOTE ]
SS/Fire Brute and Fire/Kin Corruptor.
[/ QUOTE ]
Link to what that combo can do
That combo or SS/Shield is probably the fastest. I'm not sure what a duo of dominators will be able to do with the Dominator changes in the works. The Kinetics on this team should not be a buff bot. Run in immediately after the Brute does. Fulcrum Shift you both. Step back. Unleash hell. The Corruptor can do as much damage as the Brute.
Most important is finding what you both find fun. Other combos can also be very very fast. Brute + Kin, especially those build combinations is the fastest. The Kinetics player really needs to be a button mashing super fast paced fiend. -

why cant you just get 3 dam/acc and 3 end mods?..best of both worlds :P

That uses 6 slots

It's becoming increasingly more aggravating to get into a TF PUG lately. Seems there are becomine more and more "must have" builds - and if you dont have that build - no need to apply. Is this game turning into Guild Wars?
You "must have":
- A stone tanker
- A Kin
- A Rad
- A Cold Fender
etc., etc., the list goes on.
As far as I'm concerned, the only must haves are a good tank and a decent healer

Epic fail.
You start by ranting about people who say you must have certain AT's, then you help to propagate the narrow-mindedness.
[/ QUOTE ]
You obviously havent read the rest of the thread, nor do you seem to be making the correct distinction between archtypes/group roles and specific powersets.
[/ QUOTE ]
The only correct role I've ever seen for any archetype is "attack the bad buys". -

take your time, last 5 mean by it noa prices and sundays prices are not wednesdays.
1 month I turned 20mil into 270 (toon still not 50 yet). You have plenty of money to play around with. dont buy at the buy it now prices
[/ QUOTE ]
I meant I'm usual not willing to spend the time figuring out which salvage I need, buying the salvage for non-buy now prices, and crafting the item. Sometimes I just don't care enough for a small additional profit. -
I'd like to add that I have tried every combo listed above in duos while two-boxing Masterminds, except any that include Pain Domination. I've done Darks, I've done traps, I've done Poisons, Force Fields and Trick arrows. Thug/Storm simply outshines them all from a kicking booty perspective when 2-boxing.
I don't understand the notion that storm may be "too active" for multiboxing. Perhaps they consider clicking the other window, clicking Freezing Rain, and clicking the ground as being "too active".
If you'd like to see two Thug/Storms two-boxed at level 16 or higher let me know. I'm not saying any of these other combos are bad. Most of them are pretty darn fantastic. Thug/Storm is simply that much more fantastic. -
Damage procs have a X% chance to activate every 10 seconds in Lightning Field. I consider that ineffective from attempting to use those procs in actual game play.
I recommend mix and match IO slotting: 2 Dam/Acc/End, 2 Dam/End -

Do you craft the recipes you get to sell them? Do you buy IOs crafted, or do you craft the yourself. I would love any insight into these problems, taking into account I'm not rich (about 80 mil on each 50), and neither toons are necessarily "farmers" (FF/Psy Def and Bot/FF MM).

Two Thug/Storms can be ridiculously powerful. From 1-15 are as hard as two-boxing Masterminds can be. At level 16 you get Freezing Rain. At this point the game is over and you have won. Approach a pack. Drop Freezing Rain on its head. Win. It's that simple. Alternate using the MMs Freezing Rain or double-up on each pack.
I have 6 Thug/Storms. When using them I rarely ever bother with Hurricane. I put the one leading off with Freezing Rain in full bodyguard mode and any not throwing the first Freezing Rain have their tier 1s in bodyguard and the tier 2/3s on aggressive. Storm has lots of other powers that are great, fantastic and fun. Freezing Rain is the only one you really need. -

Best part is someone will actually pay you for this.

hmm.... His previous sale (50's generated from a level pact) were an in-game asset (the lvl 50 toon) for another in-game asset (influence).
However, this appears to be an out-of-game asset (I don't think the forums qualify as part of the game) for an in-game asset (influence). This would appear to be explicitly prohibited. I know he got redname clearance for his previous sale. How about this one?
[/ QUOTE ]
I didn't think of in game for out of game. This transaction is likely against the rules. My only thoughts were "this might be funny, I wonder how much someone would pay and what kind of silly names might come up." -

What is the advantage of Painbringer on any pet anymore? No more recharge bonuses.

I don't believe Painbringer ever did any recharge. -
How'd Kronos Titan go? Has anyone been able to hold a 53 through triangles on a Dominator?
I've got a Mind/Psy Dominator at 50 fully IOd on test. Merely perma-domination on live. I'm excited to respec my guy into something a hair more efficient and give this a try if I should be able to hold a 53 through triangles.
I've also got a 50 Bots/Traps that I can fully IO out if I think I'd be able to somehow single pull AVs. I'm not sure how that would do against Statesman though with his unstoppable. The basic plan for Heroes was Immob and Taunt from range. Unstoppable might ruin that for multiple reasons. -
Good idea! I'll sell Smurphy too.
300 Million to be Poopy Pants... I think I just might.
