I dunno. I've leveled and acco'd 4 toons in this league, mostly with help from various members of the community not all of whom were on my team. I don't think it's that hard to get one together.
Tokyo.. PvP was on Test a good long while and you know that. We didn't want to move from Test, but it was the best option at the time. Now it's on Freedom. If the issues with Test are resolved and there were enough numbers to support a Test League or Ladder, I'd be all for it. Unfortunately the numbers are wanting.
But you know that already. You just like to make noise. I wish Con was still around so he could tell you to shut it. Maybe you'd listen to him. -

Close, but not quite accurate.
1. FAP requests a supplement draft for 2 weeks, but one is not set for whatever reason.
2. Draft gets set and FAP gets first pick as we requested one before HB.

I can try and reword it, but one reason I wanted to just do more anonymous voting (e-mail/tells) was to minimize people being influenced by other people's votes. The way I worded it might be confusing, but I'm pretty sure I meant what you said, which was even if you disagree with the change to elimination, to vote on the other 2 options anyways in case it passes. -

Should be allowed. The first re-draft only had a couple teams going back and forth and drafts are supposed to be allowed up until the week before the playoffs.

We're making a simple issue more complicated than it needs to be. Either keep it point based or move to single elim. If we move to single elim I honestly don't think it matters if Ware gets to pick their opponent. They're going to play 2 out of the 3 anyway. I've played in more than 1 league/tournament of various kinds where the #1 seed got to select their opponent come the semi's. It's not unheard of. Again.. whether that's allowed doesn't really matter either.
What we should not do is extend the season or add more teams. It's great to let more teams play, but everyone got to play during the regular season. The playoffs are for the top 4 teams to finish things.
I'd also rather do the semis and the finals in the same night. I really don't see the point of stretching 2 sets of matches over 2 weeks. Run them back to back and call it a day. -

Actually, the original commentary was the one I wrote when I noticed Vinnie hadn't done it yet. Once Vinnie got around to it, he just edited the original post into what's there now.
It really did seem like you guys weren't trying to win, because there was literally NO offensive pressure on us AT ALL. It got to the point where Klesk got bored of emping and started spiking with us.
Surely, I'm beating the dead horse with this, but, even in matches where we've won 40-0, Klesk and Spiner were Emping their dicks off the whole time. That, combined with the general lack of offensive pressure on us, the turtling in the middle of the map, not healing Kali's tank for like 30 seconds straight as we spiked him, followed by apparent excitement at the results - as lib put it - "cemented" that idea for us.
But, as I said at the end of the commentary, GGs.
I regret not running to Kali's spawn and healing him, then phasing if needs be and running back to the group. I should have. I was worried I'd die once I broke off and I'd be trading one death for another which makes little sense. In retrospect, I should have taken the chance and counted on Johnny to keep me upright on the way back.
I would prefer if my team could chill out and stop participating in pointless back and forth ******** as it does no good and reflects poorly on the team. I'm not all carebear though.. I think it's pretty stupid and childish to dump the original write up and put up what's there now. If my saying we brought a legitimate team with the intention to win isn't good enough for Vinnie, he can go **** himself. I'm really kind of hoping that was changed before yesterday afternoon. -
I've always preferred an elim playoff system if you're going to have a playoff at all. I don't see the point in a point based playoff system. But, that's how it was voted. So one of three things should happen.
1) Stays as is. We voted, we tallied, this is how it was decided.
2) We change it. Have elim playoffs as suggested.
3) Remove the playoffs completely and end the regular season with a point total leader board with any ties being played to determine position. -
It's a work in progress. I thought it went surprisingly well for our first try at it. I am sorry if the matches were boring.
We were giggling like idiots and I was actually excited/nervous for the first time in forever on an emp. Hopefully it'll be more fun to fight when we get a bit better at it.
And I appreciate the various votes of confidence. I may be a carebear, but I'm an honest one and I'm glad my word is trusted.
