    Rp SG?

    i'm looking on a role-playing supergroup. others things as well, because i love to try new things but role-playing is the only thing i really want in an SG.

  7. i went to Bloody Bay and it was empty, like the server i switched from.
    I know pvp is dead in this game but is there any sign of it on this server?
  8. sometimes i won't even notice when my friends or people in my SG are on, and i don't remember to check.

    i think it would be nice to have a little noise everytime someone logs on. A little like the sound when you send a message, just not identical or it will be confusing

  10. I think it should say your most visited Day Job on your ID badge at least. In case you just decide to work on one out of the blue, you'll want to know which one you've done the most.
  11. It seems like it would be great for Going Rogue. Bounty Hunters aren't quite evil but not quite good. it would fit right in with all the rogue and vigilante stuff.

    PvP Revamp

    i like the idea, except the 1-5 hours i think it should just be rounds that maybe last 5 minutes.

    PVP is so un-popular because there's no PVPers. When the game was released there was no PVP. So people who only play for PVP didn't want to play. After it was added more PVPers started to play only to find that the PVP is bad. If devs spent more time on PVP it could be greatly improved which would bring in a bigger and wider gamer community.

    Yes! People in my house are always asking me what time it is but i can't minimize the window because i'm in the middle of something. I'm no programmer but it can't be that hard to do.

  14. good idea but not necessary, they have bigger and better things to work on. Spare time should be used fixing bugs not adding events that not everybody who plays the game celebrates.
  15. maybe not new zones but i would be happy if they redid a few so they didn't all look identical.
  16. awesome idea! but i think there should be another choice, whether you shoot it out of your arms or eyes. my primary is radioactive and i love X-ray but it's not that great, so i think you should choose how it shoots.

    oh wow i didn't think of interior doors! i should've though, the bookcase idea brings me to another idea

    -hidden bookcase- inside the library (new building, this and gives missions. Also has crafting tables) there is a glowing bookcase, that's the secret one.

    i don't think it should be all of the mission doors because that's a lot and there's only one portal per zone, thats why i had the idea to choose one entrance. But i think they should reuse the mission doors, that's a good idea

    thats not really relevant to the original topic. It's about changing the portal not the room, although i agree i would like a larger entrance.
  22. true, maybe the portals will also be open to coalies only though, as for the SF same thing maybe? or the bases could be trackable, so for coalies it would show up on the minimap.

    i know some people won't like the idea so the portals could still be open if you choose.
  23. Probably my least favorite part about SG bases are the portals. I think they should have secret entrances instead of a portal. I know the old batman had a cave covered in vines he drove through.

    In every zone where there is a base portal there will be several options for your new base entrance. The SG registrar will let you choose ONE. All the zones have the same entrances so say you make your new entrance an office building in kings row, it will be an office building in Galaxy city.

    here are some ideas for the new entrances
    -sewer grate- looks like the sewer network but it leads to your base
    -deserted building- just a random building somewhere
    -warehouse- same has deserted building
    -Secret doorway- just a black outline of a door in a wall

    as for design the graphic would just be walking in the grate or door. there would basically be a invisible portal inside so you would be teleported. I'm pretty sure that would work


    Please leave more ideas for entrances and anything else

    Dynamic music is a fairly simple concept, and works on an 'Intensity' scale. A perfect example of this is used in the PS2 game, Transformers (the Armada version);

    The scale;

    'Idle'; This is the base music. Nothings happening, really. It's calm, steady, it sets the scene.

    'Potential'; Somethings looking like it could be happening. A mob has been spotted (more likely to work mechanics wise, it has come within a certain radius that will count as 'spotted' or 'within range').

    'Confrontation'; Something is happening. Its not too major yet. Say a few minions, maybe an LT. Nothing too bad, but it's still a scrap.

    'Major Conflict'; The peak. This isn't a confrontation, this is a whole mob or two, and you/the team are in the thick of it, busting heads and taking names. As far from idle as it can get.

    'Boss theme'; A little add on, worthy of EB's and AV's, maybe tailored to the map, with unique versions for signatures like Positron, Serefina, Arbiter Sands, Nocturne, States and Recluse, etc.

    Map specific; Outside of the main city zones, the music would be tied to the map itself. We already get certain entry music on things like Arachnos bases and Sewers and such, along those lines.
    Theme examples;

    Sewer
    Sewer/cave
    Office
    Office/cave
    Arachnos base 1
    Arachnos base 2
    Rikti Cave 1
    Troll Cave 1
    Orenbega

    Etc. Obviously more than that, with variations for different map sets which are similar but not identical, to avoid it all being the same.

    Anyway, just examples and ideas.
    Now THIS ^^ is a good idea. It gets you more involved in the game and sets you on edge. It would also add some Variety.

    Can't remember what part but it Steel Canyon there is an obivious rip off of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix. i can't stand it, we don't need modern music.. we need epic music
