As a person who moved to Austin, TX from the Bay Area in CA I can tell you this: I didn't know what real barbeque was until I moved out here.

As far as public appearances go, I swore off trade shows about a decade ago (or maybe, I was sworn off of them. Something about being forced to demo a product I thought was doomed and being honest about it when asked...not real sure.)

A "Meet & Greet" might be different, and there is at least a small chance I'd go to one locally. I hate travelling and dislike crowds -- not a great combination. Makes me a bit anti-social.

Besides, EvilGeko and Angry-Citizen would kidnap me, lock me in a room and do horrible things to me.

Who are you people?
We are a group of mature players and vets. In the beginning we decided to make an all Kinetic Defender team and we did. We called the group Pinball Wizards (PW) (links to thread on this forum). From that small beginning, other specialized SGs were formed. Then City of Villains was released and many were seduced quickly by the dark side. Corruption reigned, Repeat Offenders (RO) started their fellowship. So what began as an all Kinetic SG has grown into a large friendly network of SG’s.

To keep up with so many groups all of the SG were linked in coalitions. Our main communication line to all our SGs is via the Global Channel: [u]Repeat Offenders[u]. The driving force of our network is our coalitions and willingness to utilize our interconnectivity to build teams.

Each RO Network SG has their own forum section, some have requirements for joining others may not. Check the section of the SG you’re interested in and see what that SG requires.

There's a beta build where Infernal defeats the altar himself in a fit of rage, hands his axe to the nearest scrapper or tank, kneels down and openly weeping asks that the heroes just put him out of his misery.

I get these tells in the evening on my 50s (I almost never hide). Has everyone else been seeing this on 50s or a mix of toons? They are always for the same site. At least their bad English is getting better. "Step on a billionaire with single click..."

As long as folks are willing to pay for PLs and inf instead of playing themselves these services will exist.

It's not like the sets that are good and bad aren't common knowledge enough without the game being reduced to a mathematical exercise. (Full disclosure: I have an energy/ice blaster at 50 and kinda wish someone had told me it was a gimp build before I was in the 40s.)
