The answer Castle gave in i14 beta (not to me, but what I heard ) was something like "we can't do this right now, it's hard to explain" which I take as they'd have to make normal mobx and PvP zone mob X for every critter and that's too much work.

Seriously, I've gotten all of 2 of these both on 50s in zone. That's is and interesting conundrum.

If for some reason we get a ton of rookies I'll consider expanding the bracket/ prize pool.

Ok, here's What I came up with:

When: Wednesday May 13th, 2009, 8:30 PM
Where: Pocket D Arena, Infinity
What: Dueling tourney

Standard sportsmanship rules (10 minute matches, only tier ones and arena temps, no spawn camping, keep trash talk to a min, etc apply)
i13 rules in full effect (DR and TS will be on)
Reset on monkey cage
Reset on first DC if in first 90 seconds
All matches must start with in 5 mins or the offending party forfiets for delay of game, send a tell to @slax for an exception (baby aggro, cat's on fire, etc) which will be granted at my discretion. These are 1 v 1's so there is no reason we can't go fast.

We'll have a few (2 or 3 depending on turnout) seeding rounds then the top players (8 or 16 ideal can do more or less with byes) will go to a single elimination bracket system.

Seeding will be based as follows:

prelim record
head-to-head
Slax's discretion (e.g. 2 players are 2-1 and didn't fight each other, I'll pick the order)

Prelim matches can end in ties.
**Bracket matches go to sudden death** Use the 5 minutes after the match ends to determine a winner. If still tied, fight again.
Stalkers are allowed but hiding for 10 mins to get a tie is grounds for disqualification.

There will be a second, smaller bracket for n00, er new PvPrs either 2 or 4 will battle for a separate smaller prize pool. Same prelims, folks picked by me. This is to encourage new players so don't sandbag to play here. (if you are good and mysteriously go 0-3 in prelims don't expect to be here)

Prizes:

Main Bracket:

1st Place: 50 million
2nd Place:30 million
3rd Place 20 million

Rookie bracket:

1st Place: 25 million
2nd Place: 10 million

Answering my own question- unless they did so to give to someone else.

As I apparently need to start cashing out, I'm gonna trow an event next Wednesday (5/13), probably PvP. I'm gonna say 100 million in prizes (maybe 50/30/20, not sure yet). Details to follow. Express interest here and let me know what you'd like to do. (Lethal lottery, deadly duo, 16 man bracketed single elimination all sound fine).

I also give myself permission to enter.

If I ever get inspired to roll another toon, it will probably be named "Ban This"

I'll kickbox Posi for the future of this game. I win we can have free 50s and fix PvP, he wins we'll all play super-rainbow happy and no more than 1 level a week per toon.

Tanks are easy to kill with a few deboofs.
