Remove the base resists altogether or at least give an option to turn them off in arena.

To be fair this makes good sense. There was a window of opportunity where you were guaranteed to play. You could have either started up your own team or signed up for the initial draft. You were GUARANTEED a spot on a team AND if you showed up in Pocket D, you HAD to be played. It was announced in the PvP forum, player announcements as well as on the server boards, and spammed in the zones for those who didn't check the boards.
Making it sound like the PvP community is excluding people in the second draft is just dumb when all anyone had to do was follow simple instructions and meet a well advertised deadline.
Would I like to see things done differently if/when there is a season 2? Yes, truth be told I prefer a ladder, but I digress. Realizing this is not a perfect world, everyone calm down, have a soft drink and chill a bit. Let's try to have fun and use this as a learning experience.
As too new teams, I agree with Peril that to add them now screws up the schedule. Anyone who wishes to form an exhibition team I'm sure can get scrimmages Mon-Wed. -

I need to apologize to the PvPEC reps Peril and Kat as I raged against the draft partially based on a misunderstanding. I'd ask for more transparency in the future, but apologize for being short with folks on the forums here.
