Might want to consider a primary other than Spines if you don't want enemies running from you. Or skip Quills. It's very annoying.

Yeah it's up there but it feels like a year passes by when activating Energy Transfer, lol.

Honestly, if you want something quick and cheap for farming it is Fire/Kin. You can also roll a Tank that would get the job done well. SS or FM / FA or SD, imo.
Now with that said, give a FM or Spines / FA or DA a try. I currently just made a thread about a Spines/FA and after IOing him out he is a lot of fun. There is just one downside for me and it's that the enemies tend to run after being hit with Quills.

Why? So you can get wtfpwned every time you turn around? The melee AT version of ElM is horrific for ST damage, just about the worst there is. No burst, no ST chain, no nothing. It's average in AoE, so if you really like the set you can make a passable farmer with it, but forget AVs and don't even think about trying to kill other players with it.

He's right. You'll be disappointed with Elec Melee in PvP. -
You could do it that way or 4 Performance Shifter in each. Skipping the Rech/Acc and the Tri.

Appreciate the input man.. I would have never noticed the difference in heal loss. That's why I love posting builds on the forums. Always good to have more than one set of eyes look at it!

I can trade out Regen Tissue for Doctored Wounds seeing as I have yet to enhance. I'd like extra HP, but I did not look at the difference in how much it will heal.
I don't need a Winter's Gift in SJ because I will only be farming with this toon. Why would I farm something that can mess with my rech?
As for the Quills, I like the set bonuses better and Tempered Readiness has damage.
I don't think I need CP. I could only slot one rech in it and I've got Consume/CaBs. -

I revamped it some and came up with this. Little better overall, I think. Plan would be to take 2 rows of lucks and 2 rows of blues when soloing.

Here is a build for my Spines/Fire I've been working on. I plan to use him as my personal farmer and how much he costs is not important to me. My goal is to have good Rech, HP, Defense and Recovery. Let me know what y'all think and if there's something I could do to make him a little better. I really wanted a Rag proc in Throw Spines and some damage procs in my damage auras. I'm just worried my endurance would be a mess. Thanks in advance for any input.

Leveling a Spines/Fire as well and I just can't decide. Do I want to gimp some of my build for Defense or do I wanna go for Rech/HP and just pop Lucks.. Decisions decisions..
I have a 50 Shield/Fire/Pyre Tank that is great but he lacks the damage of a Scrap. -
Sorry if it's already been answered, but why is Spines Scrap at the bottom of the list? I understand that most of the attacks are kind of weak, but doesn't the AoE count for anything? Is this just for ST?

I think I got my new toon lined up...that sounds almost better than Shield Charge/Foot Stomp with double stacked Rage.

Go SS/SD. You can use Foot Stomp 3-4 times by the time LR recharges. Also 2 TP attacks get annoying, imo. -
Could switch your sets in True Grit and Health. Put the Miracle's and Regen Tissue in Health and the Numina set in True Grit. It gives you about 50 more hit points. It looks like you are at the cap with CJ or Hover on. I would remove the two slots from hover and throw them in hasten. You can also remove a slot from taunt and throw it on Tremor with a Force Feedback: Chance for +Recharge. I use one on my SM Brute and it fires nearly every time I'm in the middle of a good mob.

I have a 50 Elec/SD/Mu and my buddy has a 50 SS/SD/Mu. Both are IOd out and when we timed ourselves a few times, he always comes up 1-2 mobs ahead of me. Even if they nerf the radius of FS, SS should still be a bit faster. -
Actually, I can't decide if I'd rather have the Oblit Proc for FSC or Force Feedback Proc for Shield Charge.
Edit: NM. If I remove the proc from Oblit, it drops my Melee defense below 45%. Also removed the LoTGef from Deflection and replaced it with a Red Fortune
ef/End since I was in the red for 9% Acc bonuses.

This is strictly a farming build. Mine just hit 50 and I went for a little over 65% rech while adding some HP, Acc and End Recovery. There's also plenty of fiddling that can be done.

I have a 50 FM/WP that I made quite awhile ago and it's a fun combo. Easy on the Infamy and great damage. I chose to go with Mu Mastery for PvE and it works nicely with FSC. Before they killed PvP, it was pretty solid with Gloom as well.
As far as SR goes, it will not only cost more to be as effective but also eat all of your endurance. -
SS/Fire is great for farming. Just make sure you bring some orange inspirs because other than fire resis, the damage resistance is garbage.
