Now the question is:
Is it intentional? Titans were always balanced by being murder at range but much weaker up close. -
Some enemy groups just hate each other. What are the enemy groups in question and what detail are they part of?

I did feel the need to make a reply to you Venture after I saw your review in your last thread on Arc #175675, "A Princess of Mars"

I will no longer respond to or even read responses to my reviews posted in this or any future review threads

On a personal note, I thought the arc couldn't be as bad as Venture made it out to be.
It was.
I don't know what those people were on but I doubt you'll post this feedback:
"No plot. No explanation. No reason for the Cimerorans. Custom group a collection of unlockable weapons with no sense to it whatsoever. Venture was right." -

The Longbow is led by Miss Liberty, have heavy-hitters such as Crimson and Indigo, and is backed up by the might of the Freedom Phalanx.
[/ QUOTE ]
Crimson and Indigo are part of some other government agency. -
I agree though that enemies above the mission's level should scale to the mission's current, not max level. There's precedent in canon (Nemesis lt. in a 25-30 mission).

2) Can NPC models be given customizable powers. For instance, I was making a CoT mission for the 15-20 range, but only Ruin Mages appear as bosses in that range. I wanted a larger variety of bosses, but I want them to look like the CoT in game. So while I could use the character creator and power customizer to create a boss with the powers I wanted, the character creator doesn't have all the costume parts for CoT mages. Meanwhile, I found that you could edit in-game NPCs, but only their costumes, not their powers.
Rationale: there are a lot of cool looking mobs in the game already. Being able to use their skins as a template in the character creator would be an awesome tool to allow you to fit custom mobs into pre-existing factions quickly.

No. Powers are designed for certain models, and changing them could lead to unwanted behavior. The dev-given example, made up, is a werewolf given Energy Blast firing them from his shoulder. -

Personally I take this as the meaning of "Just a Bunch of Stuff that Happens".
[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly the (the example of a ) wrong meaning. Shaggy Dog Story is a plot thing. JABOTSH is a deeper meaning thing. -
Avoid Atlas.
I agree with your suggestion, even though power suppression near the AE beam has its own problems.
But yeah, the best I can advise you is avoid Atlas and Cap. -
QR:
Further thoughts on JABOSTH as interpreted by Venture: Venture has a (arguably overly) strict definition of a story, involving a deeper meaning. If something doesn't have one, to him "it's not a story. It's just a bunch of stuff that happens". -
[ QUOTE ]
You know, you may not *agree* with what he says, but you *did* voluntarilly submit your arc to his thread knowing full well how he rated and reviewed -- that is, unless you were just blanketing review threads with requests without checking them out.
[/ QUOTE ]
If this is to me, I didn't.
[ QUOTE ]
One, I really did work hard to make sure that every mission and every word contributed to a strong, coherent story.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which isn't what JABOSTH means a lack of in this case, FYI. -
As I said before, over /ma.
The problem with JABOSTH is that it means different things to different people. To Venture, it means "the story has no moral or deeper meaning". Right or wrong, that's what matters in his thread. -
He started as MA/SR, then when his leveling duo partner quit he rerolled as BS/SR.
Also, as for that arc, he's good but his gloves, boots and shoulderpads were off (banded, flared, black IMO) -
Something to keep in mind:
Having attempted the strike force, the 5th's presence makes perfect sense. They rally around the Reichsman, but he considers them expendable. The only place they IMO should be replaced with Axis Amerika is the 4th mission, which takes place there. -
Well, Sky Kings' Ransom (#232308) has received some tarting up for I15...
-
Guess they decided it's too easy to get and nerfed it.
I'm kidding.
I hope. -

From everything said by devs about the difficulty slider, there should have been bosses spawning at DiffLevel 2 and higher. When we were told that DiffLevel 1 on solo suppressed Bosses, it should have been inferred that when you're not solo or when the DiffLevel was higher, then you *should* be getting bosses.
[/ QUOTE ]
That refers to end of mission bosses, which become LTs. Not those that spawn in normal spawns. Those never spawned for teams of size below size 6 or 7, I can never remember, with the exception of boss-heavy groups like Freakshow, the Lost and the Rikti. It should IMO stay that way. -

Seems to me like the solution would be to allow adjustments of the individual enemies levels, to a certain extent. Personally I want level 50 Succubus and Crey Agents but I can't have them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nor can you have lvl 50 Hellions, and for the same reason. They'd be too easy. -
[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the quick reply.
If this is working as intended, then what is the purpose of level slider?
[/ QUOTE ]
Buying SOs, for example.
