Sorry, I thought it was kinda new, I havent seen anyone claim that teaming was bad for the game before, this being an MMO and all. It was actually kinda refreshing, since most folks think you have to team to play.

Farming for drops is deflationary. If you are going to blame anyone for inflation, blame the people that play on large teams. They produce the most inf/kill and the least drops/person.
Teaming is killing the game for casual warshade purplers. Heard it here first folks.

Thank you for the answer but I rather gain it by killing mobs. Most of the time using the AH/market or whatever means I have to rip people off and raise prices and im against stuff like that. Plus it will help me level my gf's alts also.
I dont really want to get into an argument here, but people willing to pay an amount of infl. for something you provide does not equate ripping people off, unless you do it at gunpoint.

As far as raising prices goes, how does flooding the game with more influence stop inflation and raising of prices? Considering every toon playing is its own mint printing off infl. I would say farming does more to raise prices than playing the market.

    Pling I get though.

If it is just for loot, head down to the market section. I am not against farming, but the market is way better to gain infl.

But I don't remember how to make it or I'm mis-remembering how it worked.

I have a bind just for teleport so I can press key, click, press key, click, etc... "/bind e powexec_name teleport". But I'm stuck as to adding the Hover in there. I wasn't sure if I just put "powexec_name hover" in there if it would toggle it on and off each time, which I don't want.

Is this possible to keep hover toggled on while teleporting (using the same key on the keyboard)? Or do I just have to turn on hover seperately then use my teleport bind?

    Thanks for any advice.
Not sure about Hover, I would just toggle it and let it run, but YMMV. However, I highly recommend using /bind lshift+lclick "powexec_name Teleport" It was a gamechanger for my Tele-toons. Heh.

    Fast leveling

Inb4 someone asks what the rush is.

Honestly, run mish's at the highest lvl you can(up to +2's) and set for max mobs you can survive. Be sure to follow up on tips for merits.

When the halloween event starts, ToT teams should be pretty easy to find, and are great XP.

But seriously, whats the rush? :P You havent had a lvl 50 long enough to get bored with high lvl content yet

So you are comparing something that WOW hasn't even done yet, to something COX already has addresed and calling it a bad thing? I don't see your logic. It is pretty easy to get to travel power level in this game as well.

I am not trying to be snarky, and I welcome your fresh outlook on the game. Fun is subjective, I have a blast. The new GR content is great and provides a fresh challenge in the low levels where before I was just putting in the paces.
  16. Superman isn't opposed to fighting petty thugs. Really, if you want impressive numbers to battle against, using Superman is a bad example for epic, omg! fights. Just about everything cons grey to him.

When did Supes start flying? At first, he was only able to jump real far.

Did Spidey start his career fighting Venom and the like, or did he work his way up to it?

It is not out of context for a character to evolve as they go along, the precedent is in the comics themselves. I think your expectations may be a little unreasonable, considering the game actually has addressed many of your concerns.

As for in game traveling, when do players in WOW get mounts these days?

    Welcome back though!

It is cross server, cross faction, however, I think EU and NA markets are separate. I could be wrong though.

I think he was just talking about how physically crowded the ww's are on freedom, although there must be at least one or two that are pretty slow.

I'm glad it doesnt spoil your enjoyment. Pointing fingers at people who market is ridiculous. The whole playerbase that uses the market at all is just as responsible as marketers, flippers, etc. If people were not willing to buy things at those prices, they wouldn't be worth selling.

Also, You dont have to marketeer to get sets. You can use hero merits, AE rolls, or regular old friendly merits. Beat up mobs till you get the salvage needed to craft them, and presto, sets. It will just take much longer to fully kit out a toon, if thats what you want. If you want it faster than that, I guess one will need to marketeer.

I dont want to have to work to buy a new computer, I just want to have a computer with all the bells and whistles. Right....

Actually, I often make donations. Sometimes someone will broadcast for thay are saving up for an IO to finish kitting out a toon, I will buy it and mail it to them.

Unfortunately, that is also the laziest way to pay it forward. Many people in this thread go out of thier way to explain how to make influence, so you can kit out a toon. Some even use illustrations. Please dont forget, sure, they may market, but they also produce alot of "goods" as well. So can you. Find a nice drop that you cant use on your build? Sell it! Make millions, Kit out a toon!
  20. If I am building a bankroll on a toon merit farming ae is better inf/time for me up till the 250 mill mark. Then I can start reliably making more inf. marketing than rolling bronze.
  21. I have a claws/da brute named Mighty Dust Mite. Organic shoulders, Spiked arms and feet, insect costume(black) Red bug eyes and antenae. Fun toon.
  22. If they are your clones, shouldn't they be able to clone themselves?

Does that mean that I don't recognize that the IOed to the gill scrapper/tank who formed the team is not doing the lions share of the work? No. I know my own skill in the game and it is not at where many of yours likely is. I like harder content, however, will rarely solo it. Throw whatever insults you want.

Bill I'd be far more in favor of your position than the OPs downgrade EBs. It would likely result in fewer teams, but probably not the crash that I would expect from allowing EBs to spawn. I still would like to see it remain as is, but of what I have heard, it would be the best way.

Edit: On a related note, I know this is the internet, but can no one debate without tossing insults?
A well played buffer/debuffer will very rarely be turned away from any team, and if it is, you really don't want to be on that team anyway.

I am glad to see you are actually able to compromise a little. I am sorry If I insulted you in any way, I just found your position very selfish.
