  1. Use the right tool for the proper job. Would drive me batty to have to spend 45 mins prepping up for a mish because my buddy asked for debuffs.

Of course that comes after the fact that if a complete powerset/AT respec was made, it would no longer be the same character. I invite a competent tank I teamed with yesterday and discover he has turned into a really bad stalker. Right. Good plan.

But that would likely have been quite a bit of work when it was just as feasible an option to leave the level-up progression as it was, resulting in a coincidental 3 extra power slots now being available.

Had the devs' intention been to give us 3 extra power slots, and making Fitness inherent was the means to that end, they probably would have given us extra slots. But it wasn't, so they didn't.
Just to clarify my earlier post, as much as I would love more slots, and less powers, I actually do enjoy having to make the (sometimes) thought out choice of where to put my slots.

Besides, if one leverages the alpha slot well, it potentially frees up many slots that can be used in the powers chosen instead of fitness.
  3. I will unlock them as I play them. Some however, like my emp/ice troller, will more than likely never even get logged on again.

  5. Do I feel like pizza, or a cheeseburger? Thankfully, I can now get a bacon double cheese burger pizza and never be faced with such a quandary ever again.

You on the other hand, are SOL. I start wishing for less powers and more slots at around 40 or so...

I like the teleport bind for rain/teleport type powers.

    /bind lshift+lclick "powexecname shield_charge"
    /bind lctrl-lclick "powexecname lightning_rod"

Once your recharge is high enough to have them up for every mob, you would probably see little result from the first two tiers of the spiritual alpha slot tree. However, as the higher tiers are available, more of the +recharge % from them will bypass ED constraints.

    Endurance.

    Ultimo_,

Good to see you can be a reed in the wind.

First, I recommend re-reading the other threads you started on endurance issues. They really are full of good information to help you with end problems. For the first 10 pages at least...

Next, I highly recommend reading Fulmens guide to frankenslotting.

Finally, I recommend reading a few marketing guides. Like you, my goal is to play the game, not market. However, being able to recognize, and take advantage of a few marketing rules have allowed me to seriously IO a few toons with very little marketing effort/time.

If you are truly interested in getting your toon slotted up, do the homework, and learn a bit about the market. I will give you 150 mill. More than enough to frankenslot out at least 2 toons. Or you can use it to make more infl. and kit out all your toons. Just be prepared I may ask a few marketing questions before I hand over the influence.
  8. Anyone that makes me laugh my *** off. Good or bad, doesn't matter. Check the ego at the door.
  9. Will be testing this today. So far, no rewards for rep qualified defeats.

PVP zone NPC defeat rewards are working normally.

Not that I pvp at all, but to clarify, you are perfectly fine with the idea that not everyone gets to make kills, but you think PVP io's should be made available to everyone very easily?

    Interesting.

Reporting that someone called you a liar? Seriously? Are you younger than six?

Anyway, was good to see you post again, and that your M.O. hasn't changed a bit during your hiatus. Great to see you still expect a different result when you do the same thing over and over again. Stay gold Ponyboy.

If you don't recall, you and I have had this argument before. I am very aware of your opinion, as wrong as it is.

The best part of this change, it it actually does what you begged for in the previous thread, by giving you, someone who has no apparent idea how to mitigate endurance issues in the low levels, another way to mitigate endurance issues in the low levels. The hilarious part is that you are actually against this change.

To me, it just shows that not only do you have no idea what game balance is, or enough game knowledge to work that balance to your favor, you also don't actually have any idea what it is you want.

Once again, you have provided me with a reason to not take you seriously, so I laugh instead. The only way I could be more amused is if Johnny_Butane posted in the thread that it was his idea to make fitness inherent.

    Oh Ultimo_...

Welcome back to the boards. Why didn't you use the form letter I put together for you in your last thread about endurance for your first post?
  16. Even when logged out, when I log back in, sometimes I get a "This account is already logged in" meaning the entire time I have been logged out, the game still thinks I am there. Skews the results.

Now a team runs the same map, they get same 20 drops split 8 ways, and 12.5 million inf split 8 ways. This gives you 625k inf/item entering the economy.

The individuals didn't get more inf, but the team put considerably more inf into the economy for every item they put in. You wind up with people that have inf and want items
Never thought of it that way. Thank you for taking the time to explain it in a way that I(finally) understand.

Nope, hadn't heard that, I've heard 20-30 mins... Never ran one though, so hard to compare.

So it is decided that farmers don't impact inflation at all then?

I understand what you are saying Another_Fan. However, it is hard to believe that I create less influence solo than I do on a team, as teaming always, always cuts into my infl/time creation.

so those 640 kills could drop any manner of things.. and solely for you

now on the same map. same mobs and all of that. a team of 8 has to split the drops from those 640 mobs. now they may clear it in half the time, or even faster. but the chances of getting anything substantial drop dramatically

so basically.. if purely farming inf, and not drops. teams are the way to go.. but if seeking rare drops.. solo will shine every time. not entirely uncommon to pull 2-3 purples in a day or 2. more if you dedicate significant time to it and use the best map/mob/technique combo.

dragging a few bosses or lt's from grp to grp is efficient, in that you maintain an aoe based killing stream , incorporating minions and stragglers from the previous grp into your initial dps burst at each new group.
Using your math, a team of 8 would need to clear the mish in 5.25 mins. Yea right.

Plus: I gotta see you hit 80 kills a min. What server?

    Er what?

If you recall, I was questioning the logic of the ops stated principles of not screwing the guy at the auction house at the same time as contributing to the guys perception of being screwed.

Its like the aggriculture investor getting angry about the plight of overcrowded chickens on a farm, at the same time as demanding more return on his investment this quarter from the opperator.

Are you saying that farmers don't contribute to inflation at all? Because even if he contributes a little bit, I would say that is at odds with his stated principles. (Sorry OP, not against you personally, you are just the handiest example)

Inflation works for me, I can sell my stuff at whatever price some impatient person is willing to pay, and patiently buy stuff at a price I am willing to pay.

As for Farmers Vrs Large Teams... I think the large team would have to be highly optimized and coordinated to gain more infl/time than a farmer. Specially once you consider the average groups "afk min" "Bio" "omw" "selling..." etc.

You may find this an interesting read.

So on paper, yes, large teams make more, In reality? Questionable.

When you said this I thought you were trying to say that farmers in general were driving prices up, and ripping people off.

I am still having trouble trying to understand what your point is though.
Farmers willing to pay ridiculous high prices for even mediocre IO's right nao! pour fuel on the flames of the perception that prices are ridiculously high. Complaining about the price of stuff being too high ensues whilst forgetting that they too can sell things on the market and get ridiculously high prices for them. Repeat.

I would also like to mention, that yes, while solo, I get more drops than I would on a large team, but I also end up deleting 16 recipes for each one that is actually worth(to me) crafting.
