  1. Fire/Fire/Pyre Tank - If I want to be able to chat while farming.
Spines/Fire/Pyre Scrapper - If I want to focus on staying alive.
    SS/FA Brute - Speed

They are all fun, but I like farming. If you dont like it, there isn't a toon you can roll that will make it fun.

    Monster Hunters

The defender will do it faster, and is one of the few times I would go defender over a corr, but it can be done on the corr.
  3. SinisterDirge

    Pure control

    Wait for earth/time.

    Monster Hunters

    Ill/Cold
    Fire/Traps Corr
    Fire/Cold Corr
    Fire/Rad Corr
    Rad/Sonic Defender
    Sonic/Rad Corr
    Traps/Sonic Defender

I am sure there are many, many more. iPowers open up the possibilities even wider.

The moment you realize you can't pay, why not get your crap the **** out? How often can it be that you realize you can't pay with just an hour before it is due.

Sorry, but if I have to try hard to work up indignation on behalf of people who can't pay, but don't bother to get their stuff out on time, then it is not true indignation.

    Fun With 3D

Works for me. This is also the technique I use for those "spot the difference" puzzles. All the differences pop out like they are on fire.
  7. There are so many times that I try to log in and get the message "This account is already logged in" that I think the data is skewed horribly on my toons.
  8. It wont change the recharge time of phantasm at all. I wouldn't.

You don't need -regen when you have all that damage :P
I know this is supposed to be a joke post, but it isnt really funny to delegate someone the coffee boy. The idea is for a duo, not a glory hog with an audience. Two crabs will be face melting fun though.

Well, you figure either one is a go to for soloing them, pairing them up is a no brainer.

Another decent combo would be a bots/traps mm and a fire/traps corr. Scourge is awesome on big bags of hp. Traps is just awesome.

Two emp/sonics are supposed to be ridiculously nasty.

Appologies to D.A. then. They all kind of blend together for me as I read them all in a couple days.

What? PGT is awesome. It may have been better at one point, but that is because it was horribly awesomely broken. Now it is just plain uber.

    AT and Powers.

    Low Budget:
Kinetics. Corrs, defenders, or corruptors, doesn't matter. Viable on teams and solo on just SO's. Decent recharge and capped damage.

    Medium Budget:
Spines/Fire scrapper or a Fire/Fire tank: I love aoes, and these two builds bring it in spades. Some dislike the squishiness of them, but it is quite manageable. Kill faster.

    High Budget:
Fire/traps Corruptor is my current favorite. It really is a personal preference thing though as with any good build, high investment will allow most combinations to shine.

    New Player Recommendation:
Play what you want to play. It doesnt seem like you care about min/maxing, so go with whatever is fun to you. EVERYTHING is viable on SO's. It is what the game is balanced around. Embrace altitis.
  14. Sure, powers are nice, and get all the glory, but slots do all the heavy lifting. The thirties are great for fleshing out your toons powers.

    Nice Hitchhikers reference though.

If they just sell whatever drops they manage to get leveling up, I can't see any reson why they won't have a decent build at 50.

As for toons that do exceptionally well on SO's, Bots/traps mm does very well, as does a Fire/kin troller even if it is a great farmer.
  16. The first purple recipe I had drop, if I held on to it would net me about 800 million now, as opposed to the 300 million it got me back then. However, that 300 million gave me enough capital to earn billions.

Sell now. It will always be worth more in the future, but by then, you may find it easier to afford 20 of them.
  17. Don't they usually give us a respec heads up at least a week before a new issue drops?

Yes, yes you are. Told you that in post 58, and you are still shocked by it.

Your entire argument is negated every single time you login. If you want a platform for a valid argument my recomendation is stop agreeing to the terms of service before you login.

On top of being the most capable damage dealers, Brutes also have very capable defense/resist numbers. And I don't think that the fact of Blasters being a ranged class makes up for it.

There is probably an explanation for this and I've missed it. If that's the case, I'd appreciate if someone could enlighten me.
Brutes have a lower damage scale. Blasters can and do outdamage Brutes.

No. I think they meant a reasonable interruption in which they take the time they need to work on and maintain the game. Otherwise, that clause would allow them to wantonly halt service unchecked. Look, they screwed up. They even acknowledged their screw up in the form of an apology. They failed to deliver. So now what should they do? How about issuing patrol xp to make up for lost time? Or a reward merit? Or something? It shouldn't be too hard to implement and it wouldn't cost them a thing. So what's the harm?
Are you saying that your eligible toons were not awarded patrol xp for time spent offline? Thats probably a bug and should be documented.

If so, then what relevance does it have to playing a game.
A team of people working toward a common goal? You can't extrapolate that?
