This is the correct answer to this question.

The open steppe, a fleet horse, falcons at your wrist, and the wind in your hair is wrong.

Oh, can pretty much guarantee that we have never played together, but welcome back!
  3. That happened to me in Beta. I assumed it was WAI like missions where you join with mission 2/5ths done and you get no mish complete reward. I could be wrong though.

  6. Have you tried it with a lowbie in the mish? Thanks for testing Nihilli.

Some of them were very cool - Russian pilots liked the codename for the MiG-29, "Fulcrum", so much they used it themselves, and "Foxbat" has a certain something - but many were just... sad. I mean, "Flounder"? "Flagon"? "Frank"?
Whoops. My bad. The C-5 galaxy's nickname is the Queer.

Didnt know that. Strange considering it is the nickname for the C-5 Galaxy's.

    Mu has 2 aoe's to pyre's 1.
  10. Thanks mate. Not worth it imo either then.
  11. Have no experience with dark myself, but have a build I've been working on in mids... Is there any point to dropping the grav anchor and lockdown procs in fluffy?

Good grief....are you really so vain as to think that your opinion is of more value than someone else's, and if they disagree with you that disagreement constitutes a case of harassment?

Seriously, if this is your rationale for getting a persons name when they rank you, the devs would be well served to just eliminate AE entirely. That's totally overboard and reeks of someone who assumes that they must be the producer of perfect content and anyone who disagrees with their own self-assessment should be penalized.

If the devs classified 1-star ratings as griefing/harassment, then why did they ever _ALLOW_ for 1-star ratings in the first place?
Pull your head out of your ***. Do yourself a favour and figure out what a thread is about before you post in it.

If you have any reading comprehension whatsoever, you would understand that I dont actually write arcs and it is impossible to harrass me in this way.

Having the balls to leave a comment when you are trolling someone is one thing, targeting a group of vocal ae writers in a systematic way to lower their rating just because it can be done anonymously is harrasment.

I dont care what happens to the rating system. I dont use it. Its bollocks, and means nothing to me. I do care that a group of people are being targeted and harrased. The op in this thread is asking for that to stop. I dont think that is an unreasonable request and shared my idea on how to curb it. There have been other good ideas in this thread as well.

Take away the anonymity and it will bring some accountability is all I am saying. Nothing more, nothing less.

Of course not. If I did, I would think you are harrassing me rather than just being an idiot.

I'm being serious....what purpose does removing the anonymous rating feature solve for you?
How about taking a screenshot and reporting harrasment. I believe harrasment of any type is not tollerated in the game still, or has that changed recently?

And it isn't for me. I dont have any arcs up. I just think they should have the same ability to report harrasment as everyone else in the game, whatever form it rears its ugly head in. I guess you may find it funny that I can argue with a group of people about farming, and still be able to hope they have the best play experience possible.

IMO the cases where it does happen, uncommon as it may be, seems to be a point where the character jumps the shark and gets ridiculous.

    Thanks for your input.
The restrictions exist because people were ******* up thier toons making them unplayable. People making tankmages they could have probably balanced around, but people making pure buff/debuff toons ensured they wouldn't be able to successfully balance the 1 hero = 3 mobs equation.

Also, not sure how long you were around, or when you first started, but they were VERY hessitant allowing us to respec our powers at all. The main reason they did allow it was because people were still messing up their toons bad. (How much of that is because the playerbase were idiots, or that the powers were not actually balanced to begin with is impossible to determine cough*smokebomb*cough.)

I have already made my argument why I believe that powersets should not be allowed to be switched, and stick by it.

Please keep in mind that this is the player questions sub forum. The questions you are asking seem better posed to an actual developer.
  15. A Superheroes Creed:

    These are my powers.
There are many like them, but these ones are mine.
My powers are my best friends. They are my life.
I must master them as I must master my life.
My powers, without me, are useless. Without my powers, I am useless.
I must fire my powers true. I must focus harder than my enemy who is trying to kill me.
I must kill him before he kills me. I will...

My powers and myself know that what counts is not the powers we use, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make.
We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit...

My powers are human, even as I, because they are my life.
Thus, I will learn them as a brother.
I will learn their weaknesses, their strengths, their limits.
I will ever guard them against the ravages of fatigue and damage as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes and my heart against damage.
I will keep my powers ready. We will become part of each other. We will...

Before The Great Pumpkin, I swear this creed.
My powers and myself are sentinals.
We are the masters of our enemy.
We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until there is no enemy...

I can't take a toon I rolled, and decide the powers arn't working for me, hope to switch them out, but keep it as the same toon. It isnt. If it doesn't work, it gets rerolled.

I cant imagine Batman changing his reflexes for say, invulnerability and still be called Batman. It feels false.

That is just my emotional opinion. My Subjective opinion is that it is a bad idea for the reasons previously stated in this thread.

    Absolutely. Just not anonymously.

I understand the sentiment, but that severely limits the inf that free players can earn. Thats what, 2 SO's they can buy at 50 before they need to go earn more.

Then you get into the people that refuse to market, for whatever crazy reason they have. I understand it is their choice, but still... Too drastic.

    Those are awesome VG.
  20. Agreed. These folks put themselves out there because they want to tell a story. It shouldnt be so easy to grief them for it.

At the very least, it shouldn't be possible to do it anonymously.
  21. I used to use trip mine a lot. I still do, but I used to too.
