  1. Lol, nope, not you Bill. I'm looking forward to it as well. It is crazy to me that my third most incarnated toon has done it using just shard conversions and has never stepped into a trial. All slots are unlocked, and have all the first tier's slotted, but it has been just about a year now.

    It is not a viable solo incarnate path.

    The only thing I have officially seen as to what mobs should face as a challenge was way back when the 1 hero equals 3 mobs. I assume none of your toons are able to handle more than three even conned mobs correct? Otherwise, by your definition, officially speaking, you are an exploiter as well.

    Have you run the same content twice on the same toon ever? Or do you run it just once and say that that is it. Probably never ran the itf more than once per toon for example, wouldn't want people to think you are farming it and all.

    Dont worry it is not so bad. It is fairly clear, at least to me judging by how many times one needs to run the itrials to get all kitted out that the devs are actually fine with and promote farming.

    Yep, but like Police Woman said, she has one stared how many farms out of spite. It isnt one sided. I am not saying it is right that you folks were targeted like that. It isnt, it is wrong. I gotta say though, as a farmer, I feel like you folks target my general playstyle ALL THE TIME. I don't see how my prefered playstyle is any different than someone who RP's, or collects badges, or what not. I don't exploit anything beyond leveraging my strengths vrs the mobs weaknesses. That is not hacking the game any more than following a vidiotmap to get all the badges in a zone yet I am treated as a pariah by a signifigant part of the playerbase. **** that.

  12. We have two totally different ways of building a toon. Can you be more specific when you say you want to squeeze out a bit more performance? More recharge? More defence?

    Recharge is very important to a trapper. For instance, it is possible to do perma pgt's -regen. Your build has a 18 second window where the spawn is not being debuffed by it.

    Your acid mortar is down for 2 seconds. You should at least have some overlap with 2 out, if not 2 out all the time.

    Do you fly/hover with this toon atm? I ask because I find laying down my traps to be a pita while hovering.

    For knockback protection, I recommend either 4, or 12. Just about anything that gets through mag 4 protection will go through mag 8.

    I have included my build just to give you some different ideas on how to slot some things like the bots and traps.

    Trap procs?

    My caltrops are slotted for recharge bonuses(Posi's) You could proc it out if you want to, but I would rather have the global recharge. There is no wrong way.

    Acid mortar, I have 2 recharge IOs, the Archiles proc, Apoc Proc, Lockdown Proc and a Shield breaker. With two mortars out permanantly, its proctacular.

    As for the defence stuff, it is your call. I brought mine up to 36% and am letting the prot bubble bring me up to the cap. In case the bubbles are coming a little slow, I am a small purple away from softcap to all positions and types.

    That leaves me to focus on other priorities.

    The soulbound proc I have in assbot for the superior aoe's.

    Recharge is HUGE for traps. Stacking acid mortar(it does stack) up to three times is awesome. Perma PGT is something I wouldnt want to give up, and having 2 triage beacons out can increase everyones regen by 500%(Hello McRegen!)

    As for deciding on a blaster or corr... Do you want to kill stuff really quickly or do you want mez protection, defence, -resists, -damage, -regen -recharge and kill stuff really quickly?

    You cant go wrong with traps.

    I hear you. It is very rare that I need to seeker a spawn before I jump in. It is nice to have the option, but most times it is an unnessessary extra step before I hop into the spawn.

    They don't need musculature either though.

    They can stack enough +recharge on themselves that I would say they dont NEED it from LOTG's. However, I think an easier question may be to ask what build doesn't gain much from increasing recharge and having their buff's/debuffs, heals, holds, attacks, and defensive powers up more often. I can't think of any.

    Actually, the market says what the playerbase thinks they are worth. If no one was willing to purchase the IOs for these prices, they wouldnt sell at these prices.

    Now if you are going to say that the devs are fine with them selling at these prices, the only dev I know that ever spoke on the subject thinks that those prices are ridiculous.

    If you are saying that if the devs are okay with it because they haven't increased the drop rates at all, well, how do you know? Have you tested that? Personally I think they could increase the drop rate by a decent margin without it affecting the prices at the auction house. I also cant prove that you are not wrong either.

    All that said, afaik, you don't need pvp io's to pvp.
