I've had this quite regularly.

It seems like, if I've bought something earlier the same day on the internet, there's some sort of "fraud warning" that prevents me from completing any other internet purchase.

If I wait a day, the order goes through fine. Very annoying, but I guess I should be happy they're trying to protect my money.

To get the subject back on the track - however unlikely - I'll have a follow-up question:

While it's nice with another DXP event, the calendar seems rather emtpy. Are we getting any 2009 calendars at all this year, or have you decided to stick to the "it happens when it happens" formula?

I sort of liked those wallpaper calendars, not to mention the google calendar that kept track of events as well. Sure, we can probably figure out when the next halloween event is, the winter event etc, but...

...now give it a few seconds, and you'll have the typical +1 post about animated hair. Just wait for it...

Personally I don't mind having the option to get through lvl 1-21 very fast. Been there, done that. Also gives me a chance to try out some combinations, then quickly delete the alt when it's obviously paaants.

Since you can go into 99% of the MA missions with one lvl 50 and have any other ppl magically "become" lvl 45 they've built a farm toy they will have to live with.

Now farming same mission repeatedly is mind-numbingly boring, doesn't drop purples etc, so I'd take a strike force any day - with a lvl 50 alt.

Same goes for DXP. I'd rather whip out a lvl 50 and earn some serious inf, but if that ends up being a long waiting game I'd still rather join one of those farms to get something out of it. Therefore I guess I do like the idea that DXP works in the MA, even though I'm highly surprised about it since patrol XP isn't used in there.

Basically, what the devs seem to say is: Really, we don't care and you ppl seem to enjoy it so... Go ahead, farm your brains out, as long as you pay the sub.

...and that's perfectly fine with me! As long as people don't bother me and pay their subs, I'm fine with them playing the game whatever way they find "fun", althoguh, for the love of God, I can't understand the PVP'ers!

Yeah, ignoring the AV's spammed heals, worked well.
Mind you, we did shoot The Big'un with those guns a lot even if it's supposed to be a one-shot deal. We all fired our guns at the same time too btw.

...and we didn't have much in the way of damage dealing really.
but it does take a looong time to get him down.

Try the lowest setting first and remember this IS supposed to be a challenge.

...on a side note: Villain version is soooo much harder!

Ok, with the french and german servers down, funny people seem to be back.

I was approached by a GS somthing GS (somthing was not his name, just men censoring it) pretending to be some sort of junior volunteer GM sort'a type. "There will be an announcement within 24h on the forum". and he just kept going, wouldn't stop.

Of course I petitioned him, and so did several others, and all of a sudden he appologized and wanted to be my "friend".

...so just a gentle warning. Don't believe anything unless it's a real, live GM (and they're very easy to spot, although very rare)

So anyone noticed anything else "undocumented" QoL stuff?
Noticed I'm getting nothing from Arena PvP now, no inf, no drops, nothing but silly badges!

They didn't get it out for the 5th ani, and then they still release it with a major bug and story-telling that's off the beaten path so far, and even inform us about it, and bring down the french and german servers.

Someone clearly gave the green light for this too early.

On a side note: Personally I didn't mind the SF being a struggle, but I did however find the endless hordes a tad pointless, sort of like Valkyrie MoGing in RSF. Doesn't really add anything but frustration. Also I do like that the villain version is harder. Oviously the devs are giving us some credit for our über skills!

Also I didn't get a purple drop and haven't for some time, which made me even crankier!

By the way... What's the point with all the glowies?

You may in fact be very correct - if it really works, that's a success, no matter how pantsy that TF & SF was, no matter how much I hate the new pvp badges and couldn't care less about the new cossies and cossiechangeemotes.

Somehow I've found QOL changes more important than the actual "content" lately although, without some serious new content soon(tm) that won't help much.

Well, what annoyed me was:

1. Same old maps, some with a little twist at the end
2. Endless pointless hordes of ambushes, it's like the MoG'ing girlie in LRSF - pointless and time consuming
3. Twenty merits? 20!!! Sure we can get the complete time down a lot with some practice, but that's weak!
4. Oh, that's it, nothing more in the issue??
5. Oh, stupid pvp badges! Yeah, feed the DEAD DUCK!!!

Point 4, the "little content whine" is explanable since this really isn't a real issue, it's a fifth aniversary event gone wrong. Also, at least they did a villain and a hero version instead of coop. Cudos for that.

Also it IS nice to finally have something new to "figure out". It'll take some time to find a good set of team and strategies for the end-mission to get acceptable completion times. Gives us something to do.

Now where's the new purple sets for the remaining powers and my thermal special ones?
As for the MA? Didn't really notice much, it's says my arcs are work in progress and some more ways of rating/searching (still useless though)

The question remains though... Will DXP apply to the MA as well? I suppose DXP still doesn't stack/use patrol xp, but I can see another roar of upset people whining about one-day-to-fifty players hanging out in Atlas...

...I won't f'coz... I don't do heroes unless called upon by my fellow smurfs!
