What about a SL based stalker? They have some unresistable damage isit? (AS and the crits from placate?). 3 Stalkers even took my Granite down, easier since i couldnt move that easy.

Bingo, AR and Archery had serious problems with defiance - nrg in lesser degree but the other sets are pretty fast casting, AR/dev as worst due no single form of BU/aim.
Oh well, for me it will only get better, as i never have used (or benefit) from defiance without faceplanting seconds later or even before i could act. Specialy with RWZ and the stupid ammount of sleep/hold/KD/stun and no mezz-resist is plain stupid.
But if its 'radical', i asume it wont be 'damage taken' wise anymore or any form of hitpoint related. -

We made one fairly radical set of changes and tested it internally for a while before I essentially nixed it. It simply did not address the issues Blasters have adequately (despite being really radical!) A simpler version is currently in testing internally (if you saw footage of my behavior in the last playtest session, you'd swear I was insane!) and it has some promise, but needs much more testing.
And that's about all I can say about it, at this time.

Erm, EMP arrow does a really huge -enddrain(database says 55%), 3slotted it can hit 100% of minions. Also have -regen/-recov and a 10sec -recov on yourself.
The only strenght i've ever seen in TA is oilslick (with gluearrow) and ability to hit -60% (or was it 80%?) resist debuff alone.
But versus the other sets of defender.. its really not that great (either buff or debuff wise). -

Medic gets stimulant, from wich point he serious start spamming this power on every pet and u and 99% forget to heal when its really needed (when he get interupted he stops healing/stimulant for quite some time). Offcourse the melee issue is even worse.
The seals only do their sniper shot when they are at +80ft, anywhere closer and they stop using it. Their weaponbut attack is never used, teargas used when most of the group is down. They also get stealth, wich they put on and off on and off, makes no single use what so ever. (use grant.invis is 100% better).
But thats only the bit of the annoying parts of merc pets. -

That was my initial purpose of making the bio's of my characters, but also added a timeline for creationdate and suits good with the celebration-badges (i have a few with all 3).
I like that spider diagram, i think i start from there. -

Just a nice RP factor, CoH has widerange abilities for this.
At first i was thinking on sort of Tree-layout, i once started to write the entire story but became somewhat too long read (was at 12 pages with 9 toons).
I use the data from Citytracker to put my exp/lvl/etc on a website, so i like to expand this website to a full page all about my characters and their background info. -
Most of my characters are semi-RP-based linked to eachother, having 2 accounts 12slot each its quite alot. How do you guys link them together? Write a huge story, or a diagram or any other way?
aside from that:
I still have a few discount-coupons for a few poster-prints, was thinking to make 1 huge picture with all of them together. Anyone every did such stuff before and how? With demo editing i can get them all together in 1 picture, but was looking also for some cool effects. Short: i need idea's -
I'm Necro/trap, with a RP style. Nina is sister of Lisa, who got nearly killed during a rescue mission. She got brought back to life by SinesterX, giving her the ability to control death. With her original AR/dev knowledge (she was in AR Specialist-training with Lira Lee), she became necro/traps.
(all my toons are quite related to eachother). -
Acc in taunt is only needed in PvP, PvE its a autohit.
Icepatch can use a 3rech/1end, would be bit more usefull.
Also get to know the IO system, LotG is favorite among ice tankers.
Freezing Touch, i would more go for the mezz then for damage, so i say 2acc/2hold/2rech. Same for block of ice, a rech rather then a damage. -
So i play my brute, i smile each time i smack out a power with full fury. So i play my dominator, how lovely to see that power going when you popit. So i play my MM, bodyguard makes me tanker-style. So i play my controller, double dmg ftw!
So i play my blaster, i scold defenders to stop healing me, i yell at tankers to stop taking 100% agro. I even order scrappers and trollers to stop attacking at all! Then when i finaly have a superhigh defiance, i start my shoot animation (yes, quite some have long animations) and die. They mock me. -
Or if you like the SS style, stone might be a nice set.

We can always do heroic missions of yours carni, seems more efficient to wack heroic style (high spawn, easy mobs) then facing lotsa bosses and getting nonstop teamwhipes. -

i always start with another:
1. know your enemy. Nothing is worse then running in a group of mobs they actualy do damage you hardly resist or no defence against.. Alpha can be deadly. Wich mob does what, wich damage do they do, wich effect they cast (slow/recharge/perc/acc etc). A granite facing 1 group of Psi mobs is nothing more then a blaster with a trashload of HP, prepare yourself with purple and orange insperations. Numberous of examples, know your enemy. -
Mind that my maths were 3 SO based
So for now, we not reaching it, by the time we can, we got other tricks. (basicly lvl23 or 25)

I found out perhaps why. 1 of the IO is in CJ, if i dont have it running i noticed a few KB's. When i keep CJ running i thus havent faced any KB.
Does this mean the power where the IO is in need to be active/running? -

Believe it was a issue 7 change, not 100% sure though. There should be some more info around in the tankers section, cant find any direct link atm. I'm a perma granite, so only play with resist. -
Due Defence changes ice tankers became very 'strong' again, ice still on the low dmg side of the scale. But having ice patch and the new defence system, its 1 though tanker
Although it seems many still have to get 'used' to the improved ice tankers, as they are not that superpopulair (my experience though) -
Lets stick with wednessday for now then.
Problem with FS/siphon that someone can be unlucky to miss it. I play 99% ranged, but benefit greatly from the assaults. FS is melee ranged, if we all dash in on a group 1 big AoE of a mob can be pretty lethal.
Defence imho is too luck, an AoE sleep, knockback or whatsoever drops anything we have on defence.
Option 1:
2 sonic can cap out someone's resist, if its a dark/ with shadowfall he can do initial toggle (that -acc one).
Option 2:
someone swap to FF, making PFF the alpha taker. Alternate dragging an empath into the team.
Option 3:
continue on somewhat easier setting, coping with current issues untill we gain the mass status effects.
Option 4:
Getting a other AT, a tanker prefered, for alpha. Perhaps a troller, still fit the 'defender' style but has great AoE alpha abilities.
Option 4:
we go for a 4/4 tactic/assault and 8 maneuvers. Downside, teamsetup might making tactics/assault inbalanced. However, 8x 5,6% hits 44,8% still not reaching softcap even lvl minions. So facing lotsa bosses imho gives a too big gap, specialy facing AoE sleep. -
A nice weekend of lvling my MM's (necro, mercs, bots and thugs) on a bunch of newspaper mission, with quite alot arachnos missions.
I suddenly notice those psychic spiders (lts i gues) make my merc pets go crazy. The moment they do that cone power, they start running everywhere disregarding my commands and start shooting from there. Worst case, 1 ran into a 2nd group.
Went to my other MM's, found the same lt, but it never happened. They continue attacking without issues. Ok so they wanna be ranged for shooting i asume, but they all have a melee attack (tier 1/3 punch, tier 2 weaponbutt).
Making it worse, i found out they doing it with every AoE power done by arachnos. The Mu AoE, the protector shot, hence even smoke grenade. The moment they get hit with the AoE, they randomly run to another place, kinda like being in a burn patch or DoT from rikti monkeys.
Back to my Necro's, no problem at all. Same map, although lvl38s instead of 41 mobs, they dont run away nothing. Same for my bots, lvl35s.
I'm getting pretty [censored] off about mercs, like i wasnt already, after so long issues with them (powerusage etc) they still are the most stupid AI pets i've yet seen. (i only tried ninja to 18, they did ok - ok melee/ranged but likewise with knights of necro, put them melee and they go melee). Problem is, my merc is 41.. Being a nerfed TA defender has its uses afterall
