  2. i have a lvl40 fire tanker incase u have no 38-40s. Do you need any pre-contact to get this mission?
  3. Get 2 safeguard travelpowers (fly/jump) and ditch your travelpower to fit both in pre-20
  4. If you can get better powers instead (pool or aim/bu) i would pick those first and only keep FSC. Most fire/fire wont go 'AoE style' untill the higher lvls anyway.

    MoG Style wouldnt be that bad tbh, we already have hibernate and FoN. However RotP is funny and EMP is a laugh.

    Ok, point taken on Spines/DA, i totaly forgot i used to ahve one upto SO range and it really does lovely AoE.

    Villian based they have more sets to use, where fiery armor with Mu mastery is best bet although i'm very unknown in missions and such in high lvl villians.

    Anyway, as False say, its about blaster AT and not about best farm AT's

    Fire/fire or elec/fire are best bet on AoE.

    Gotta agree on spirit here, fire/kin will defianatly win from any blaster. The only set that could compete, would the fire/fire or fire/SS tankers.

    And the safest farmer that farms anything, granite/SS/fire with a lovely IO setup Although a kin along is prefered

    Safety style soloble AoE would be the elec/elec. Less dmg but more safe would be elec/nrg.

    And a elec/fire can fight easy against a fire/fire, added that elec/fire is even safer to use.

    Many ranged blasters do that pretty good, problem often occurs on the 'i melee wack' blasters
  12. with only lack of -regen it doesnt make a lousy set. FF has no single debuff whatsoever, only a massive knockback power and lotsa defence.
  13. Put me down as reserve, @SinergyX or @encore. Got a wide range of toons around that lvl, so can pick what is needed.
  14. If you need a extra tanker or blaster, give a yell
    Granite/SS tank and ice/nrg or nrg/ice blasters.
  15. -U will need an acc in blazing aura, its a hit-check aura.
    -Shields you need resist, not defence
    -Fireball, put it 47, swap place with FE. Swap few slots so u hit 6 slots. Then a nice IO set can give it a great acc/dmg/rech.
    -Tough only 2 endred max, you can put 1 to your shields.

    Defenders venguance (or how it was spelled) is underrated and often not needed. However me as empath had quite a bunch of times my end was running dry while team-hp bars were going red. Me as empath had several times great use of it, specialy in smaller teams with no tank your end can run dry quite fast. However with sets like sonic or FF and specialy low-end TA, it became somewhat useless.
  19. fire/ice is a great damage migation for the lesser fire shields. Added that icepatch/burn is a indeed killer (BU/fiery embrace = ouch).

    Great tanker and once u got icepatch/burn even a very nice solo set. In the old days fire/ice was the most common farmer.

    I took fire/nrg, way to much single target and you only rely on the stun. Your end story will pretty much be ET/TF/ET/TF etc etc, other nrg powers are just not great on damage. You want good damage and nice damage absorb? Pick fire/SS instead of nrg.
    Just that my fire/nrg has the 3 celebration badges, else i would have restarted that one ages ago to a fire/ice or fire/SS.
  20. My first MM was a bot/psn, fun but bitty big and annoying bots. So i went to my merc/TA, at first it was quite enjoyable as they had a quite nice DoT-fire rate. Ice arrow, disruption arrow, glue, most did their job pretty nice.

    The annoying moments started when i recieved the 2nd upgrade and i noticed specs were really not comparable to prot.bots or (from teaming) graveknights and enforcers.

    Time started to change when i reached 32, serum. What a waste of a power on ranged pets, it has no use of a commando going FA while he's surrounded by mobs. Dropped it the next lvl anyway. Luckely i had TA oilslick and EMP arrow to come, so continued.

    Now i am lvl41, the last 2 lvls were a living nightmare. Very high SL resist results in 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 damage not to mention 5 pets start to do their FA/long attacks while the 6th just finish his 5x1 DoT and took down the pet. More and more 'dropped' powers (ignite, oilslick, dis.arrow) made my pets run away 10 blocks, agro'ing entire new groups and faceplant as result. Not to mention the pathetic long animation time of casting and upgrading, going twice the time of necro or even bots (it roots 2/3sec you as long u are on 'the phone' wich is casting and 2nd upgrade). The redraw, stupid AI, wrong powerchoice/preference, pure SL dmg, useless powers (stealth) and a retarted medic...

    Is it TA that made my merc weak? Not for me, TA has very nice tricks specialy going solo. Ok few bugs here and there, but its ok.

    It was not untill i started my ninja, thugs and necro MM's when i found out Mercs were so pathetic stupid and weak. 10 sec of nonstop crit on ninja and awsome instant dmg, the great dmg output of thugs with leadership mayhem it was necro that made me drop my merc MM at all. Hold, fear, immobilize, knockup, selfheal, consume soul, extreme fast upgrading (animation wise) and a awsome ammount of damage.

    So now my Necro is 38, enjoying every single moment to play it. Would i be necro/TA, probably still the same.

    Yes i once thought mercs were great..no i have all other sets, they are the weakest of all. I agree secondairy is very helping your pets, but if i merely look at the pets alone... they are stupid. Yes a /dark set will perform great, but any /dark set perform great. Some day.. whenever, my Merc will reach lvl50. But then, i am 100% sure, i buy a transfer token and put him alone on the most deserted server i can find.
  21. Would more suit Poison Gas arrow. (-dmg debuff i believe).
  22. EMP indeed does 15sec regen/recov debuff, however also a 10sec recov debuff on yourself

    Good point there, hopefully the 'new' defiance will make all sets benefit from this. As i see all other inherents, they benefit at any set. Some perhaps abit slower or bitty less, but not as much as defiance does to blasters.

    I go for a domination-style clicky Hopefully with a recharge/end-recov form
