Robot/dark still kicks butties, dont worry about that.
I know a few of those, all went for GW set for the theme and the extra hold
Btw, yes they still do that shield thing, not sure about assault bot though.
Few things:
-slot fear with 6, recharge/acc/range, as long its up fast and hit alot.
-give asault bot a end-red, helps sometimes.
-with tacics (and tohit slotted), you can drop 1 acc from the prot.bot and give him a heal or any debuff he can do.
-never.. ever.. forget fluffy at lvl38.
IO's are lovely for this set, lots to be found that can combine several buffs/debuffs. Might give a few looks on the guide section, perhaps on the US side also for a few guides bot/dark is quite a populair set. -
Have to say, once u have poison trap it suddenly become soooooo alot easier.
-
In need i can call out 1 of my blasters, ice/nrg/elec or nrg/ice/cold. However its 4pm my time, might get stuck with dinner.
-
Merc/TA - None.. lotsa debt, lotsa
Bot/psn - few EB's, support on AV
Necro/trap - 3 EB and helped on 1 AV.
ninja/dark - yet to face 1 -

I got a reply from support. It is working as intended, I was not supposed to get a reward while SK'd, even though:
1. I was within the lvl range for the trial
2. Someone else got a reward while SK'd to 50
3. The lvl 50s all got a reward, despite being too high to receiveone.
So, there you go... what a load of [censored]
[/ QUOTE ]
You perhaps can refer to me, as i was SK'ed also but did get the window shortly after. Maybe some weird glitch as my mentor logged or quited the TF shortly after the finish.
Ok, did got a lousy recipe, but still :S -
I just hit 41 with my fire tanker, having the immobilize with burn doesnt make it worth the damage anymore. This makes the fire brute considerable better, as they get the aoe immobilize patron power (Mu, dark/shark has cone iirc).
I still have it, as it helps solo alot on incomming damage while you kick the [censored] out of other mobs, however i'm EM. For the AoE of /fire, i wouldnt pick Burn anymore, unless you frequently party with a /ice blaster or any trollers.
I run around with 3 KB IO's (2 resist, 1 defence) and havent faced any major KB issues outside AV's. Havent tested against ruin mages of CoT though -
lvl 24 - Greater Fire sword
lvl 26 - Greater Fire sword
Typo?Looks good, i asume you picking up fighting pool in the 30s? If you pick the knockback IO's you can drop out acro, saves you a slot (2 is overal enough).

Although Tier9 on inv makes him invincible, the crash is insane likewise, wehre i read the tier9 on WP only give a little end crash.
[/ QUOTE ]
I need to check that on test, I've heard conflicting reports so far.
You can't really compare INV's Tier 9 with WP's. The INV tier 9 caps resists to everything except Psionic, a Willpower tanker running their tier 9 still has worse E/N/F/T resists than a Fire tanker (43% compared to 47% E/N, 100% F and ~60% T). The willpower one really seems to be an extra stackable power rather than a "Fire and forget" panic button. For example a Willpower Tanker that was endurance drained or mezzed would easily get flattened even though their tier #9 was still running. An INV wouldn't.
[/ QUOTE ]
I took the numbers from the US board, believe a redname gave them out. And imho its viable to compare those Tier9 powers, for example fire doesnt even have a proper one, having a decent high resist combined with decent high defence it still works pretty well.
Specialy crash wise, asume the -25 crash is correct, a willpower can simply continue its fight, where a Inv gets in a really really nasty situation.
Overall i never look at the set alone, as most tankers still need support from the defender/trollers. However their base numbers are a solid set to combine perfectly with either a sonic or FF defender. As whole its a nice set between the current sets, good additionThey are kinda in between the Inv and Fire tankers, got some good and got some bad, wich i quite like.
However, as i seen those purple IO's and their 10% recharge stuff, i see granite getting a great comeback (i currently have 62,75% recharge bonus, with the new sets i can put up some more)

Check general discussions desmond, the proposed new Defiance didnt made it yet to the testservers. I posted your domi-idea too, only more focused on what they do.. damage.

Tanking AVs is gonna be the easy part for me. Putting up with newbie teams is gonna be the hard part.

How i love my Granite -
Based on general discussions, if the wedding band remains farmable, gues thats no problem
However, on (i). Inv suffer the same issue, together with their weak resist/def outside the SL. Although Tier9 on inv makes him invincible, the crash is insane likewise, wehre i read the tier9 on WP only give a little end crash. Added that WP gets really alot regen -
You're forgetting, webname has -5000% jump. No other Tier1 of secondairy can do this, combined with calltrops and all Sumperjumping PvP'ers gonna have a hard time.
BU is funny, but comparing Dev vs Fire i rather take 2 big reds (farm halloween anyone?). Dev has drone, conbined with tacics you dont need the acc from BU, it has a superior stealth and drone/dactics give quite alot more +perc, grab the new IO with +20% perc and you're better off then a /fire.
/dev is less then /elec or /nrg, but it can beat /fire. -
*woooooo bump*
As _spirit made up some final numbers on the willpower set, it really looks like a Inv-killer regen build. With 10 mobs around you get a whooping 900% regen combined with a 78% SL resist and a 20-30% defence to non-SL (psi get both).
The biggest downside seems to be the serious lack of imm-resist, however a CJ and we're all set. The Tier 9 seems to be a 'simple' one, little boost on resist but only having a -25 end crash. -
Energy/ice, the path only a few have walked. Its not a easy road, its not a happy road. Mika. is my lvl50 energy/ice, synergy between the 2 sides is sometimes very very annoying.
Ruby also have a nrg/ice, recenty hit 50.
In a nutshell my powers:
Energy
Powerblast
Energy Torrent
Power Burst
Sniper blast
Aim
Nova
Ice
Chilblain
Ice Sword
Chilling Embrace
Buildup
Icepatch
Freezing touch
Ice Epic
AoE Sleep, shield, snowstorm, hybernate.
Pool
Fly, aid other/self, Hasten, Fitness.
If you need some feedback about it, lemme know. -
My blaster is AR, with a kin boost i can pump out full auto quite often
-
wooo schmokin is joining too?
If i looked right i still need that badge, although i keep my final toon choice open untill sunday. -

128 mill will do for the 2 uniques to slot in health and 1 lotg... and that's it... yeah i guess it needs much more
[/ QUOTE ]
I have 5 unique now, 5 LotG and 3 full set doctored wounds.. luckely all bought before all prices went sky-rocket high
Although CoV seems quite alot cheaper then CoH luckely -
I can help out a huge chunk, i can do that remaining 28mil hopefully (my cash is too much scattered on all my toons).
I'll be online tonight, either @sinergyx or else try @encore. -

Sin's lev 40 tank...(you CANT reach lev 41 btw Sin :P)
[/ QUOTE ]
No worry, only at 2 bar so got plenty of space there -
If i need this one on Mace, i pick him (granite/SS 50). else i can bring in a 40 fire/em tank or a 43 AR/ice blaster.
-
elec has end drain and 1 hold, nrg has powerboost/boostrange and 1 extra stun. Thats about the big difference between those 2.
And imho pvp wise, ice would be better then fire. (ice has slow, alot) -
Its sad axe wont be getting much costumizable weapons, else i would say axe above mace. However, mace getting the 'thor hammer', wich would be a awsome concept of a Thor-like character.
-
Dev is a nice set usable for PvP (+perc, great stealth, telemining, calltrops, webnade, nice stuff), note the 'usable'. Fire has little to nothing to help around in PvP except buildup.
Although any set can perform 'ok' in PvP, where elec and nrg are foty stuff. -
Bad, hm.. its 'okish'. For most, Mace looks dull and makes annoying sounds (high pitch sound). I have axe, wich is comparable to mace and it does quite good damage. Although axe has bit more status-effects (lot of knockdown/up), their damage isnt really that bad. All attacks are similair to broadsword, i used that to pick my powers.
EM is a late bloomer, personaly i dont like it all anymore (40 fire/EM) as you end up doing TF/ET nonstop, all the other powers are pretty pants damage.
SS is a nice allrounder.
