Not that i noticed, neither did BaB say it did.
Chances getting bigger they leave ice completly alone, maybe only a little increase of tier2 (0.3sec in that case). -
Energy is really amazing, just before the tier1 animation finished the 2nd one is already fired (they use same fx), nice change
However, from all tier1/2 i tested now (AR, arch, ice, elec and nrg), AR still seem to have a high noticable rooting with tier2, even extremely long compared to the new changed energy. -
I can say, AR realy realy realy became way better

The way i read BaB's post, it should be applied already. (as part of normalisation of tier1/2).

This. AR is good for a pure sniper build, archery is laughable in PvP tbh.

Easy on donna, they just are part of the 'be ice or fire, else you are gimped in pvp' group. Both AR as Archery got some nice loving in the new testpatch.
My initial new toon was arch/dev, but ran out of slots for the upcomming new sets. Probably making a new one soon -
They still got alot of powers to take care off

From my pov on my granite, i can pretty much say IO-slotting went beyond Pre-ED numbers. Ok my resist/def is somewhat lower, but having a nearly 60% recharge bonus, EE and rooted have more bonus then pre-ED could ever be slotted (ok maybe with HO's). I nulified the -recharge penalty of Granite, something that was plain inpossible alone pre-ED (my EE still has 90/90%ish recharge on its own). -

However, weird that suddenly they open up so much details about all the animation/casting since NCsoft bought it all. All previous posts regarding rooting/animation etc were never said anything about different values regarding rooting/animation/casting (even with BFR, only say faster animation).
The entire run towards issue 11, only defiance was info, but now all of a suddenly they totaly revamping the animations of the sets. Oh well, its good so im happy -
Tank taunt is mag 4 iirc, scrapper invinciblity only hits 3.
But have to say, never experienced this, then again i dont have a ice tanker. -
If i got enough inf by then to give Sinergy a respec (going for ice epic - hibernate) i'll join up for the ranged damage dealer
But highly stuck on my build, so put me up as reserve.

Where IH was a toggle, burn didnt cast fear, no caps... where even Full auto did awsome damage

At the level of Atta's you cant even speak about 'tankers', just scrappers with a bit more HP. Willpower makes an interesting change to this though

Isnt that the concept of the entire secondiary of MM? Buff, debuff, heal and hold? What would poison trap add to this?

Its not the first time they claim redraw became part of the casting, however thus far never worked. I will await results befor doing my /em cheer with pompom balls.
Although 'most of their attack times got shorter'? The current set is 3,5sec flametrower, 6sec Fullauto, 4sec ignite, even shortened i dont think its cut down that insanly it will be equal to the other sets. These are powers that do the damage, but have serious long casting.
(FT is 0.9 over avarage, FA goes way over 2sec, ignite has no equal - ok maybe burn).
Now Shout and Powerburst
Let them just put the changes on test, so at least we can test. Now it only is guessing on numbers. -
That is a serious change, specialy /TA will be nice for all the sets using it (MM, defender, troller). Weird that Stun arrow remains 1.83, including the redraw it still goes over 2 sec.
Maybe my 41 merc/TA might be back in businessMaybe.. really maybe.
Luckely they seem to focus overall performance first, lets see how the rest will do. -
i can stand in as substitude for the tanker team, although i cant jump or fly (lol @ hammer). Do have nearly perma hasten and believe perma EE. Downside, only got 1 slot in taunt..

So basicly the idea becomes:
-Tier 1/2 into 1 and 1.2 sec casting
-shortrange power acros the board to 1 sec (nrg/sonic)
-The target-AoE all to 1 sec (AR, archery, nrg - has delay)
-Flametrower to equal of firebreath/icebreath (or even align with nrg or sonic?)
-ranged mezzer all to 1 sec (nrg, sonic, ar, archery, elec)
That would make them casting/rooting wise more equal. Yet still Archery and AR remain with redraw, SL-syndrom.
Yet basicly you say TG, PvP is only for Ice and Fire? As they seemed to be gimped with a 0.5 increase casting, while the rest have powers way over 1,67 sec casting.
Oh well, within a month or so the first changes will be there, i'll see what happens.
