You're forgetting the normalisation of tier1/2, they drop back to 1 and 1.67sec activation, that is a HUGE chunk out of the animation. -
I have a WP/fire on test, i have to say... No.
Sets like stone, SS or axe/mace(lesser) have aoe tricks to migate the incomming damage very nicely, EM has this hugely ST, ice is awsome. Fire lacks any form of this. Since you 100% rely on regen, spike damage can be really dangerous. Single target imho its a nightmare, specialy when u stuck on powerchoices, you will skip some ST fire attacks. WP isnt that awsome in 1 on 1, combined with nasty mobs and no mez-abilities of your attacks, it can get tricky. (i got pretty much my .. handed on a plate by 2 sappers - no epic, no AS).
I do note, that is very based on my playstyle. Specialy as i compared it with Axe (you can perma knockdown a boss), mace (you can stun/knockdown, nice overal), stone (hello nonstop AoE knockdown) and SS (rage = bad, footstomp rules). Ice is the lowest damage, but icepatch is plain lovely.
Yet however, if you take a build with tough/weave included, wich pretty much require stamina too, makes your very tight on power-choices, you become quite tough to fight the majority of mobs. Without tough/weave, you still have your tier9 as panic power and a bunch of lucks/greens.
Btw, granite with 3slot swift (run) moves around 'ok'. Only with a Kin you move fast, however still cant jump.
WP is jack of all trades, their lack of instant healing or a 'omg tier9' is compensated by a high psi resist/defence and a smart setup on SL resist and elemental defence. Yet however, slotting and powerpicks are nasty. -

The only real big change i see is jawbreaker, drops nearly a second. But i serious wonder now how this will affect axe and Broadsword, since they both use the exact same uppercut animation.
My tests with my AR blaster after new animation/casting, redraw still takes a considerable long time, dispite what they say about it. I notice this alot since my BU is /ice, wich removes the weapon.
I do have a WP/mace testchar, might have to fool around with that one for a while to see if it makes any difference. -

I been on US for a few months so i lost a 1 or 2 months on veteran. My 2nd account will get the staff 28th november (33 months) however my other one wont be getting it untill 1st januari (newyear pressy) and thats the account i was planning to start the troller on.

So i am playing around with trollers past few weeks, quite enjoying. However, i'm pretty stuck on damage output.
My grav/sonic is 14 now, but due propel etc it does pretty nice soloable damage. My Ill/rad could do nice damage also, due wounds/blind making nice damage.
But how to do ok damage for sets like ice or stone? I often get stuck from about lvl8-10, where it takes quite alot of time to take down a boss.
I want to try ice/sonic or stone/sonic, both not having really damaging powers, what are the 'tricks' to still get decent damage for solo play? I have SoM but has slow recharge, maybe Air supiority can help alot? -
I havent tried ever with my mercs, but i gues a serum before using that bomb might save your pet.

Partly seems to work, i use it often on my nin/dark and the moment they stop running it works like a charm. (dark heal heals such a lovely ammount). -
I just use several alpha's all the time, detonator lich attack, acid mortar corner pull, calltrops-go-crazy, i noticed the FFG is sometimes quite slow on following, they mez me before the FFG catched up.
Variation makes it more 'fun' to continue wacking, sometimes i just lay down a carpet of trip mines and pull a group.

Drones are imho best alpha takers of every set i've seen. Pop em in, let agro focus on the seekers, run in and drop the poison trap. Mayhem garanteed

Reason why i took ice, icepatch in front, CE for nearby, flashfreeze for 'omg moments'. And frozenfist/icesword deals okish damage.

Not everyone replies so fast
I have AR/ice, AR gets a bit of nice loving in issue 11. With a perma boostrange (woo for Fullauto and flametrower) and powerboost (stun ftw) it might be a nice set.
I used to play AR/elec, but i noticed i went too often melee range to use the blapper style, combined with redraw of AR it can get annoying.
However, i had elec with the immobilize power wich is great with ignite, a really high damage power if you stack it a few times. Although at 41 you can pick cryo ray from epics. -
Oh i like that, since i need specific TF's on several high toons. Mine will vary between fire/em and stone/ss tanker or nrg/ice and ice/nrg blaster.

I also reported tier2 of AR, after some testing it seems hardly anything changed of that power. -

As far i know, WW is just US sided, we are 'plugged into' it.
But my pick
10. New PvPers feel overwhelmed as they try to get the hang of things. Consider adding a newbie friendly zone with debuffed damage, debuffed movement, and buffed resistance so players can learn basic mechanics at a slower pace.
That one, for sure -
Ya that was a big dissapointment. Funny that <whatshername> you have to rescue few times in RWZ missions (together with that faultline guy) still uses the original animation.

I like to add the idea of fun-matches, snowball fights, tag-team, brawl fights. (GW did some awsome events on that).
As for the tanker/brute/scrapper, as long there is unresistable damage and massive stack mezz, wont see em comming back.
But the day devs actualy gonna work on PvP and get it more playable? Wont see it happen. -
Not everyone has 200% tohit in PvP, so its still viable.

I did a bunch of testing on my lvl50 nrg/ice, i have to say these changes really makes a great additional DPS. Where i often got stuck on attack-cycles, this extra bit of damage really is a great filler. And with a BU/Aim, the damage isnt that bad
