I recently got my 48 months, only because i canceled my sub once in a while, else i would have gone over 50 months already. My other account i had off for longer, wich still is within the 45th month.

Indeed in your masteraccount you can see when u get your next veteran reward.

(only downside is EU and US accounts, although i played loyaly since launch, my US account only has 9months vet, wich is imho lame - if we would ever merge).

I only use it to report spam, only get spam in my inbox.

If only they add a transfer influence/infamy account-wise option, i would start using it. (in-account transfer currently is a plain nightmare).

Even though defiant may have less, they still into forming a party. My alt on union been lonely pretty much since i moved her (nobody wants a sonic/arch def i gues), my 2 arachnos characters got into some nice teams on defiant side.

And even more amazing, the 2 i joined were doing regular and newspaper missions, no MA at all

Isnt that only possible for US players moved over to EU? As EU started later, not sure if they give out veteran based on US starting time though.

Character - Ghost widow, by far. The only AV that can bring my almight stoney on his knees with just 1 single power.

badge - i believe its called Lightbringer, the one you get when you came from US to EU.

Powerset - traps or AR, both i love alot.

Arc - Not really arc, but 1 particular mission from Mctire i believe, where you go to an alternative earth with a note from yourself.

Memory - Farming the entire map on that eden trial. Never seen soooooooo many mobs on 1 screen.

However, several people have multiple accounts and stay forced to pay for both while now they even are on the same server. As far i know, there is no such thing is account->account transfer of characters.

So if you are either US or either EU, no worries, but once u have both it goes wrong. So to your last question, yes abit too much

(in my case, 3 EU accounts, 2 US accounts).

Slightly offtopic, but anyway.

Its quite funny alot of people put their download speed equal to lag/pingtimes. 'i cant have lag, i have 20mbit!'. Even the good old 512kbit lines were 'big' enough to handle any MMO, at most datatransfer will hit 10KB/sec, having equal ping times as the today's 20 or even 30+ mbit lines. Only uploadspeed would play a limited factor, if you are below 5KB/sec.

Forum is far easier to merge then servers, the accounts were already US side based anyway.

But, it might be the first step, and i cant say enough, they should have merged years ago.

A NPC pet! Not a passive one like the veteran one, but one that can actualy do something. Such as a insperation dispenser or a IO/recipe/salvage storage, or even aid a bit in fighting.

(yes i know, idea from WoW, but they are sooo damn handy).

But i was ingame like 10 mins ago, i still have all booster 3 features (im trying to replace that skull mask picture, but i just cant get it to match).

I was just in test server, i still have all available options (well the costume changes did work - was too far from icon). Some other guy there didnt have, the difference between me and him is that i have the previous 2 packs and he doesnt.

Maybe thats the trick?

I might be misunderstanding, but wouldn't the point of a World PVP Server be exactly that the only people on it wwould be people who wanted world PVP, and people who didn't could stick to all the other servers?

If that would be europe servers, with already low populated and talking about 'merge' is very very very bad, adding a addtional server plain for pure pvp is even a worse choice.

Aside, even if you have atlas park of even PI as pvp world, 99% of the time you are safe away in your own little zone or mission.

I am somewhat amazed by the responces, it should be part of the core features of this game. I dont know any game that has the core-feature of changing your character in size, bodysize or even 'gender' (for some games 'race'). Those who have, all consist a payed feature.

But here it isnt permanent, unlike those other games, it becomes part of your costume.

ok maybe it should have been part of payed expension of GR, but not being 'free' for a core feature.

There is a huge gap between a GTX295 'graphical' game and a MMO. If you want to see such graphics that makes your 295 sweat, a MMO aint the place to look for. (no, AoC was just poorly coded, very very poorly).

I prefer seeing texture updates first, bit more detail and variation.

I dont say 'graphics', but the succes (or fall) would be the combinatie of the 3 aspecs. Game mechanics, eyecandy and 'livery' of the game.

WoW has 'aged' graphics, but feel very alive, very rich. AoC was very eye candy, but the mechanics were plain [censored] and the 'livery' was way too static.

The combination of all makes it interesting, while the game mechanics of CoH are still 'good', the graphics 'poor to avarage', the livery however is very bad. End of the line it is a 'avarage', wich they can push up by getting the livery back to avarage. (more tree's, cars, people, more 'city feellike'.

(i dont know if 'livery' is even a word, if not.. hereby i created it).
