  1. iirc mudpots have a tohit check in PvP. Maybe thats the reason of slotting Acc in it. My tanker has end/taunt/damage, never any acc in it.
  2. 2x +3 SO's is close to ED already. Having a 3rd hits ED hard, making effective boost hardly any difference (ex 76ish vs 80%). Then the only difference is moment of start counting (when you hit the toggle or when it's 'active') and when you actualy measure it again. This can result (specialy with 60-120 recharges) in just a little few seconds difference.

    3 recharge is already enough slotting i can affort in those powers
    If i see a Elude.. i just let a FA-scrapper handle it.
  4. Not 100% confirmed yet though, but if its true.. its gonna be a looooong looooooooong weekend for me Too many alts, too much exp needed, too many choices! ARGGHH.. ok im ok.
  5. Imho Div.avalange is a awsome power. Can stack easily 2 of them, slotted it gives a pretty nice melee-def. (nin is also positional based defence).
  6. Just read on http://coh.warcry.com/ that there will be a 21st to 23rd july double experience weekend. Lets put up some great (over-night?) teams to ge the best out of this?

    From my AR/Kin i would say, its a button-bashing player. Redraw animation you see nonstop, although they can kill faster then my AR/Sonic.

  10. Nope, no debt for any non50 raiders.

    Overal it was indeed the SpawnKill-tactics on both sides. At first Heroes were packing the entrance of the villains, several times when my loading window was done i was already dead on the ground. Then we just use.. Hyper Phase Combined with Stealth we managed to find a nice little spot wich nobody seemed to care about to _finaly_ deploy all our pets. MM's get their strength once they have time enough to get their pets going, untill then they are plain free-points.

    From my little spot (stealthed) i could target several and send my pets in. Keep 3 MM's at spawnpoint and you have a full 21 player team ready to shoot anything that moves

    Halfway i was pretty f00ked up about the spawnkills, i tried phase once and noticed thats the trick for MM's to get in safely.

    But overall, SG-raids are imho stupid. Too small space, too much spawnkilling, too much hectic situations. Specialy on smaller bases 8vs8 would be serious overkill.
  11. SR has high defence, clickie mezz. But doesnt have heal, unlike regen, nin and dark. Its a very end-heavy set, a bit of drain or -recovery and all that is left is elude.

    Dark is resist based, a FA-scrapper can hit through elude, but wont hit that hard or a dark. Dark can heal insane rates, but at a high end-cost.

    Each set has pro's and cons. Mostly it comes down how you play and what you like.

    Weird that your granite brute wasnt that good, they still can last extremely long.

    I compare the gun with the gun from Merc, void or Council.

    FullAuto isnt really flashy like nrg nova or inferno, it basicly makes the sound of a machinegun for a while, while doing a massive dot cone-attack. Blizzard also does DoT, but in a target-click aoe, imho less impressive. If you team with Merc MM's, the commando with the first upgrade does full auto too. Main difference with the Nukes and Fullauto, you wont loose all your end (and 10 sec no recovery), it has a recharge of 16 seconds (versus 300 nuke).

    Radiation is toggles and some clickie, most are target-aoe based. It has Accelc..something Meto..something (AM) wich gives recharge/mez resist/dmg/spd boost.

    Ice/dark you should focus on tarpatch & icestorm/Blizzard, that is some damage.

    I think AR/rad might be a cool set, i only tested AR/kin and AR/sonic.

    AR gun looks stupid. period. There is even a graphic mod out there that turns it into a SuperSoaker (no really.. that yellow/green one). Luckely its always in front of my character, so i dont have to see it that often. AR has a second downside, draw animation. Each power you do secondair will make you redraw your weapon if you attack again. Specialy kin this is serious annoying. Then again, FullAuto is a power that makes everyone smile.. bulletspraying (and a bind "Dodge this!").

    Ice/kin.. ya we all know the fuzz about that set.

    You can check rad, green beams of weird stuff being fired at the mobs. Specialy that ball trowing power is pretty 'magicial'. Downside, they dont do that much damage at lower lvl.

    Ar/Ice Concepts

    I should try to put freezing touch at the moment you can get it. Its a awsome fast animation melee range power with some pretty nice damage (3.2 BI base iirc). I love that power on my nrg/ice blaster.

    1 power i never found use off.. shiver. It forces a redraw animation of your weapon, while in that time you can pop flametrower or buckshot already. Though i have to say, i never took this power
  16. We had a little team going yesterday, random talk about our sets and its uses. We came up basicly that our VG seem to have a nearly unbeatable teamsetup, might be great for lvling.

    Keith - kin corr
    Exus - ice corr
    G - thermal corr
    me - sonic corr / TA debuffer
    Abu, plight, mars - br000ts
    Probably some others, but these i can remember.
    If we setup this team, we're talking cap resist all (no psi) (thermal/sonic buffs - aoe hold/imm/stun resist), massive def (ice boy) and speed boost (kin). Not to mention the damage output of all players together. I gues we can setup such team once to see how it goes? Not sure if all lvls are properiate to sk/lackey/whatever to make it solid, but just a thought.

    Bump ftw!
    I hit 20 yesterday with my blaster, finaly stamina time. Now i can run CE nonstop, lvling seems to get alot easier.

    Currently i have the 2 single targets, the flametrower, beanbag and snipe shot. CE, chillblain, Buildup and ice sword from the secondairy. No travel power yet, sprint/swift is just ok for me now

    My rest of the plan:
    Full auto, ignite
    Ice patch, frozen touch, aoe sleep
    leaping (accro)
    hasten
    medicine pool
  19. Seeing a teamwhipe comming up, running in Bu/Aim and hit Nova.. my reason of getting both.

    The only AT's i think can drop would be the dominators with domination running (and insane hold spam).

    But did you go all the way up to 50?

    As for the BU/Aim run out before 'execution', i'm not sure about that. Like blizzard/RoF/ice storm, they stop doing the extra damage (from 2-2-2-2 to 1-1-1-1 example) once Bu/Aim run out. Unsure if this aplies also to Snipes and TF, i think i have to do a test on that. Sounds logic it still does the boosted damage, but like snipe, if you do a -res debuff during your 'aiming' part, you snipe will hit with the higher (debuffed) damage. Even DoT powers seem to work this way with a -res debuff during the ticks.
