    I saw that when reviewing mids. I guess the problem is that I have never played a resistance build and have never played KM or Elec, so both are new to me. i was hoping someone had a build I could review and/or any comments on this combo. I picked the combo mainly for concept, so I have no idea how good the combo will be in practice.

    It takes more levels to make it better unfortunately. I had my MA/SR (Rude Dog) as my main for a long time, but after reading about SD I finally switched to MA/SD, which I found to be a much better set.

    That being said, my MA/SR is very strong and is fun to play...

  9. I guess I should mention that I do fine with my current build, but I cannot get to the +4X8 missions that I can with my scrappers and I have difficulties with EBs that my scrappers chew up and spit out.

    I was thinking defense would allow me to be less fragile. I might use my 2nd build to try a defense build.

  11. I am playing a DP/NRG blaster that I enjoy, but he is still fairly fragile. I really like the munitions pool, mainly because of Cryo Freeze Ray that I stack with Suppressive Fire. My concept is to be natural with a few gadgets, so DP/NRG with munitions matches the concept fairly well.

    My concern is that I cannot seem to tackle the tougher opponents like my scrappers (which I know is normal), but I would like to toughen up my blaster.

    I was hoping the blaster board could help me out with either ideas for my current build that will make me tougher or review the second build to see if that is the way to go. Money is not an object...

    My suggestions!

    So, I was playing this morning and I kept running into minor things that I felt could be improved, so I thought I would throw them out there in a random order. Feel free to add to the list:
    1. Salvage Bins - Provide a mechanism to sort, preferably by type and alphabetically or both.
    2. Salvage Bins - Why do I have a limit of 30? I get they have to have a limit, but I have 5 or 6 salvage racks, so I have to go to multiple racks to find the salvage I need. There should be an option when you purchase additional salvage racks to increase the salvage of your original salveage rack. In other words, I buy one rack and then a second, I would get the option to add 30 salvage slots to my initial rack as opposed to just adding a 2nd rack.
    3. Enhancement Bins - See above
    4. Mission Bar - When I am going to a badge the badge indicator tells me how close I am (4 of 6 for example). Mission bars should do the same for TFs and Story Arcs (I was doing Tina Mcintire's arc this morning and the arc looked finished on the mission progress bar, but I still had 3 or 4 missions left).
    5. Badge Indicators - Ok, this is is probably just me, but I am working on the Portal Jockey badge and I have defeated 12 of the 14 AVs. I have done both Tina's (The Praetorian War) and Maria Jenkins (A Hero's Hero) arcs. It would be nice to have a section for all the AVs defeated (not just for the badge), but for all the AVs.
    6. Stimulant - I would like to see this power provide a user End Buff, similar to Aid Self, but Endurance.
    Ok, I was playing Lockpick (DP/NRG Blaster) this morning, so these next few are devoted to DP, Blasters, or weapons.
    1. I would like to see DP damage increased.
    2. I would love to see MA as a secondary for Blasters.
    3. I would love to see more power pools, specifically a weapons pool that allows you to select the weapons (maybe have the pool like Munitions Mastery power, but when I pick Cryo Freeze Ray I could choose a Bow, Pistol, Rifle, Mace, etc.)
    4. Body Armor in Munitions Mastery needs help. I would personally like to see it as a copy of Scorpion Shield.
    5. I would like to see us have the ability to select from all power pools including multiple APPs with no limits (except the power tier limites)

  14. Lockpick was able to get his notice yesterday, so going to switch to War Shield.
  15. Lockpick is actually a Blaster. He has 2 holds he can stack though, so he is not a complete loser on the Hami portion of the TF.

    I do have War Shield (MA/SD Scrapper) that needs this too, so I may swap.
  16. Lockpick (DP/NRG) needs this one, so I will show up...
  17. I'll be there with War Shield (MA/SD), Lockpick (DP/NRG), or Exorcist (ILL/RAD).
  18. I think DP is underpowered when compared to other ATs (and other Blasters), but I enjoy the set. I am planning to build out my second build and see if that provides some more survivability. Here are my 2 planned build, which might give you some IO ideas for your DP blaster.

    My first build is a concept build trying to stay all natural with the exception of travel powers.
