Also, a Pistol Melee set is only slightly more logical than a Katana Blast set.

Before looking at Critical Strike they should take a look at Vigilance first :-/

Traps is fine the way it is, mostly.
The only improvement it should get is in PGT, which should be reverted the way it was before it was made into a proc-happy mini nuke
Time Bomb should also be replaced by something useful like Gun Drone, though -
You can always create your own custom ally in your MA missions

There are 4-5 spots in the lake that she wanders around/near. She does spawn pretty often, and she is NOT part of the bulletin message "Unusual monster activity in Croatoa".
She will just be there, and if you're above the levels for the zone, she's going to appear gray.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think she always cons yellow unless they changed it recently -
You have 2 self heals, 2 endurance refills, 2 self damage buffs, a single target immobilize to keep that hard target within the burn patch...
Sounds like an offensive juggernaut with fair staying power -
Real Scrappers don't use the Concealment pool

For Warburg, I found that the best stalker hunter is another stalker

Fire/Rad is better offensively, with access to more AoE attacks. Sonic/Rad on the other hand has better synergy and more survivability against hard targets since the more -res you stack, the more effective the -dmg from EF will become.

OK, how much better is Sonic/Rad at keeping me alive against AVs reaaallly. I know you will know. Can I get the job done with fire?
I'm waffling back and forth so damn much. Today, thematically, I really wanna go with Fire/Rad but now I'm afraid I won't be able to hold out against multiple AVs etc? Will fire be good enough?
[/ QUOTE ]
Both will get the job done against multiple AVs, really. Just take your pic based on your favorite flavor -
Asking what level are the teammates and what level are the baddies is always a legit question to ask
Too many times I've been invited to teams where everyone was 4 levels below me and we were fighting blue cons :-/ -

I like how Vanden stopped posting and dropped the subject after BABs came in and BURNED him

Darkness Mastery for Tanks, Pyre Mastery for Scrappers, Electric Mastery for both

Quills won't do much against Stalkers since they have overkill AoE defense in Hide.
My suggestion for a secondary would be WP, it gives you +perc (that you can stack with FA and Tactics) and RttC being an autohit debuff aura actually makes them visible when they get in melee range -
Soloing AVs is not something intended for every regular player to do, yes, no need to state the obvious. But when comparing the 12 ATs ingame (counting Khelds as 1 AT and VEATs as 1 AT) there's at least 1 build that can do it with no temps/insps, once it's properly built with enough IOs (purples not required) and as long as the correct strategy is used.
AR/Fire? Ring of Fire + Burn + Ignite + Bullets? that's infact one *very* viable AV soloer if built correctly, you just need the right approach -

They can be excellent teammates when they actually want to be. Sadly a large number of fire/kin players, when on a team, will continue to play as if solo farming, to the point that if I join a team that I see has a fire/kin on it I do not form any expectation that they will bother to actually control enemies or buff the team
[/ QUOTE ]
Well if they are playing like they're farming that means they DO control enemies, throw transfusion and transference, and have very high kill speed. To me that is a great contribution to the team *shrug* -
Don't get too sentimental or we'll split you in a half, cleave your head, steal your soul, incinerate you with flaming fists, roundhouse kick you in the throat and cut you in one thousand pieces.

Show me that 11 AT's with each and every build option can solo most AV's in the game
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm sure I can eventually show you 11 ATs that can solo most AVs, but for now you can start with the 4 in my sig
I never claimed that every single build combo can solo AVs with SOs, I simply said that there are 11 ATs who can solo AVs =) -
[ QUOTE ]
No AT was actually designed to solo AV's and the ones that solo AV's without external aid are to be taken as an exception, not a rule.
[/ QUOTE ]
So you're saying that 11 out of 12 ATs are an exception? -

I don't know who suggested it first, but I like the idea of giving defenders and inherent click power that builds like domination. Every power you use fills the bar (could even make that secondary powerset thing build the bar quicker), and when full you can use a click buff that grants yourself and the team a tohit, defense, and damage buff. Kind of like rolling the leadership toggles into a 1-2 minute buff.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's kind of cool, like Vengeance but without needing a dead teammate and/or use up a power pool -
Fire/Kins offer excelent support and make for some great team members with the excelent control provided by fire (Fire Cages + Flashfire) and the nice buffs from kin (SB, ID, Transfusion and Transference)

Why would it be disastrous for the power to work as designed?
