Oooooor you can just respect other people's playstyle, even if, god forbid, they are different than yours.

People have the right to engage in whatever playstyle they will, so let them be and worry more about enjoying your own playstyle and less about other people's playstyle.
  3. Elec armor has infinite endurance, mitigation from end drain (especially useful when teamed with an elec/ or /ment Blaster) and a +recharge power, which means all your powers but most importantly BU and FSC will be up more often.

On a Fire armor you'll often find yourself sucking wind, even with consume.

    Training wheels

I would suggest an Ice/Ice Blaster. Decent control in 2 ranged single target holds, good single target damage, good AoE speed/recharge debuffs in Ice Storm + Shiver. All good tools for a beginner Blaster, and it doesn't require you to be in the risk of melee.
  5. Keep in mind that S-Charge is getting castle'd when GR hits (maybe before)
  6. Go Corruptor so you can pick Mace Mastery

This, whenever I use a global channel I tend to include my $level and $archetype (but not the $name though, that's redundant and spammy) so that people could tell which side I was on.

That'd be hilarious, with Scirocco flinging around henchmen all over the place with his Dust Devils

    Expert Toons

As for the ITF expert, I've heard that SS/Invuln Brutes are the rage

    AV/GM soloing

If you're in a team of 8 and you kill an AV while no one else intervenes in any way (as in buffing you or feeding you inspirations) then it is soloing. When you use Vengeance or Fallout, even though they are your own powers, they DO require the (passive) intervention of a teammate; that is not soloing.
  12. Inspirations? I'm not stuck up about popping a small inspiration to get myself out of certain hairy situations *shrug*

I need to update that page to include my Blaster and all the crossfaction GMs that were made available in the AE with i16, and also the Multiple AVs Soloed Simultaneously with my Corruptor

The damage without shout is ok, but feels lower than it actually is because scream is dot.

If it had a decent t3 it would be my favorite blaster set because of the very high mitigation it has.
On a good +recharge focused build it's easy to chain Shriek and Scream together, and if you need a 3rd blast there's always your secondary's t1 immob which most of the time does respectable (DPA) damage.
  15. Yep, that DM/SD Brute is your best bet for AV soloing.
  16. First thing Recluse would do is hit Kingson (Ghana goalkeeper) with a shrink ray. Jesus Christ that man is a tower.

Yeah, before the GM regeneration buff, pre-ED.

I think the OP is asking about what builds CAN do it, not what builds could do it once upon a time when our computers were made out of wood
  18. Bring a ranged toon with hover, I tend to favor /Rad Controllers
  19. Nothing wrong with Sonic, by itself it's a high tier primary in ST damage (right up there with Fire, Psy and Ice) and in a team it becomes a pretty decent force multiplier. It lacks in the AoE department, but if you're good at lining up cones then even with Howl alone you can pull your own weight in a team

With temps maybe, but when people around here say "soloing" it usually means without any temps or insps

    Just sayin'
  21. Dark or Fire primaries with Shield (expensive) or SR (cheap) secondaries.

    Non-resistible!

I believe the KB/KU powers from both Numina and Sister Psyche are unresistable, as I've seen them play volleyball with Granite Brutes even with Rooted on
