Miss Tell..."OMG I accidentally told my team mate I loved him instead of my girlfriend on the other channel!!!!"
"That Defender is such an [censored]"
"Did you really mean to say that on team?"
"OOoopps MT!" -
'Fraid that I helped an SK'd MA/SR scrapper tank an AV and never went below 50% health with my NRG/NRG blaster.
And Energy doesn't have that rotgut drone buzzing either -
Nrg/Nrg/Force
I'm using Hasten & Fly atm because I find the End drain far more annoying.
Melee attacks ARE needed, but only at the higher levels. Total Focus is a dream vs. Bosses+.
Bonesmasher, Power Boost and Conserve really didn't phase me, but YMMV.
Rest, only one slot. Health+Stamina look at 3...you'll have a lot of extra slots later.
Disagree on Snipe needing 2 Interrupts, I find 1 more than adequate.
Disagree on recharge for powers as well; I'd have one end/rec on all and either a recharge or a secondary effect as the 6th slot.
Energy Secondaries are nice, but really just icing to the Cake that's PrimariesThough...get Total Focus
Energy Torrent and Explosive are good for Knockbacks (Just 1 slot) and I find Aim+Torrent means you hit most minions, even at orange.
Most of the time, you should be blasting Minions first; laying it on hard with Explosive if there's real trouble; keeping melee's for nasty ranged damage like Carnie's et al or for keeping them off your back; and ready to provide heavy duty damage vs. Bosses. -
You think that's bad? Try going in as a Hero who can't buy IR Goggles and getting Assassin Strike'd to smeg.
-
Just a quick apology as I've been down with flu. Next chapter along soon.
-
Stasis has been our/my tanker for most of my levels; and as she's reached level 50; I'd say she knows what she's talking about.
-
Think I'm just gonna stick on 49.9. Just to annoy everyone
-
Just to prove we don't stand around Atlas all the time
Major Congratulations on this Stase, and, fingers crossed, I might even get there sometime
It has been a pleasure to be with you until the end, and beyond -
Now watch the scene where they roll a 20 and the entire studio goes manic shouting 'Natural 20!'. It's guaranteed to move your stomach contents.

Yeah, but most roleplaying groups I know of don't include players who refer to themselves as "Fighter" or "Mage", or high-five when they kill a monster.
Well, actually, the high-fiving has happened...
[/ QUOTE ]
my group high fives when we die (which is enevitable) in imaginative ways. such as the cleric getting drowned in a sewer full of poo by a ottiog (spelling?)

Otyugh or Neo-Otyugh..that's the one with the black cape -
Atm, Mr Normal's Zombies are called Randall & Hopkirk (Guess the binds)
Though they maybe changed to Vila, Avon etc.
Or even Piper, Phoebe and Paige... -
If Grav or Saphire can ask for help in the right place, it will come.....

How will having less SG's make the game better?

One of the functions of a supergroup is to "provide" people for you to team with. In theory, the larger and more active the supergroup you're a member of, the more people available to team with you - and thus, surely improving the gaming experience.

A theory much quoted by Sony/Nintendo/Starbucks and McDonalds... -
Just to say thanks to Hydrax, Develle(?), Dreamreaver, screaming skull and the others in Sirens Call for a really good match last night. Most impressed by the team work and I'm sorry for those nasty squishie snipes
-
That's real nice Justyn...Methinks getting a good stock of material, both fictional and non-fiction would be good to start with though.
-
Happy Faceplantday Doulos...we still gonna make that film?
-
IF they can find someone, then they can help....
Assuming they're in the same timeline....then Miss Ellie etc. will be around...but 10 years or so younger....and will have no idea about these strange grown ups...
Or will they? -

Carnival came by my town today

Saphire peered over the edge to locate her first target, gulped then ducked down as two rings slammed into the brickwork next to her, sending off showers of sparks.
They were playing for keeps this time...
Grav tried to ignore the crawling mental images that threatened to invade her mind as she reached out for something, anything that would give her a clue...
"Time for a distraction...". Saphire shifted her body and slammed into the side of the roof, sending bricks raining down on her opponents and then leaped from the roof after them.
Reaching out, Grav avoided the chaotic thoughts as Saphire's distraction rained hurt on them; perhaps it was enough time to get a thought through whilst they were distracted.
An incandescent strike knocked one of the pretty zombies clean off her feet and into a lampost as Saphire went to work. Yelling her battle cry at the top of her lungs, the Kheldian seekers leapt after different attackers as the mob slowly started to react to her presence.
Grav sensed something and leapt her eyes to the Phantom Warriors standing behind Saphire; a small spell....then on with the work..
Three bolts leapt from behind Saphire and slammed into the figure to her left as she breathed flame; and the sudden shock caused an intake of breath; which slowed the burning across Saphire's back. Saphire turned and the Phantoms were torn in half by her enraged blow.
Grav felt something: A Wormhole : No? : A Portal...The same energy that flowed through Portal Industries in her time... But there was no Portal Industries yet....Perhaps...
Saphire slammed into the side of the building, thrown off her feet by a mental command. Blood had started running down her face already, and fear was starting to creep in above the anger. If she collapsed here, it would take more than an awaken...
Grav felt the shockwave as something slammed into the building and looking over the parapet, she saw that Saphire was making a good job, but she was hopelessly outnumbered. Concentrating, she summoned Sig and sent it down to help; and looked around for the energy signature...
The post box that slammed into the Dark Mistress would never hold letters again; but it looked like the Mistresses mouth would hold even less teeth.. Saphire grimaced as the pain in her side cried out from that last throw; but still she located another target and strode forward, limping slightly.
Underneath the hole where the Strongmen were digging was the wormhole...and it was stable....Perhaps that's what allowed the Rikti to get in? And there was another signature...A Warwolf....but one of such immense power... Requiem?
Saphire's head rocked as another image of her death was forced into her mind... Tears mingled with the blood now, and she'd lost sight of what she was attacking.. two more blows, each one harder than the last landed, but had it been enough time to help Grav? [/color] -
Ooh happy birthday as well....I might even go easy on you...
Nah! What was I thinking? -
You might, is this something you're likely to say?
