Whilst you're with Augury, and you have spare time (
) try a look through Amber as I'm sure she has a copy. Each character has three differing versions, retconning based on the same experiences. Dora especially is a good start.
-
Don't do what the Spidey/X-Men movies did and retcon into a very short time. Each event must have held significant impact, so you'll still go through quite long changes.
Picard does similar when Q shows him what would have happened if he gets all his childhood dreams. He beds his friend, stops a fight.....and ends up as an Ensign.
New events will sometimes take place though; If Bruce Wayne's parents are saved from the Joker, there will still be dangerous criminals running around Gotham, perhaps Dick Grayson will become the Batman? or worse....the Evil Batman. -
Hmmm, I'd be quite happy to know as well. I'm playing a distinctly English character who looks down on all "Johnny Foreigners", but I'm quite multi-racial in my friends/self.
Mr. Normal might call Leprechaun a "Damn Paddy Bog-Trotter", but 90% of my family is Irish, so it's only as the character. -
It really depends.
Weasel is a retcon of my life and Mongrel is a retcon of his, as they're all alternate versions of myself.
Start by laying out the main events in the character's history.
E.G. Left by Mother at age 3, develops self-sufficiency but a fear of being alone.
Find out where the event happened that altered present history.
E.G. Mother returned at age 5.
Re-plot events after that time based on the loss/gain of self that that event caused.
Stase's "What if?" Story in Creative shows her alternate version; often the strings of fate do tend to pull you towards certain things.
A number of the "Elsewhere"/"What if?" Comics show very similar things (Iron Man being trapped in Medieval times, Cyber Batman fighting the Joker Virus)
The most important thing is to figure out WHERE fragments of the personality come from.
I.E. When Weasel was in Russia, as his emotions depend on the land he's in contact with, he was larger, more gnarled and almost completely naive. As he moved to America ("To Sleep, Perchance to Rest"), he became less violent(Contact with the Civil War/Red Indians), more flashy (MTV generation) and hyperactive.
Most characters are half personality and half experience, so if the experiences change, so does the character. -
I try and only have Mozart/Mendehlson:Tom/Crow out; but they're for comic relief mostly. Will bring a non MM next time.

I'm sure SCRUB-R-BOT-1 will be along as well

Torgo was cool, but I think he needs more quirks
Sorry I wasn't interacting much. Tiredness got the better of me. Leprechaun's accent was superb though. -

Well, except number three; that one's kinda nullified by a certain story arc at level 15.

New Clocktower Back Story
1) It's Dr. Maelstrom's Pseudo-Discombobulator
2) It froze at the exact time that the Rikti War started.
3) It's Ghost Widow's Tether to the Physical plane.
4) It's the secret escape tunnel from Fort Recluse.
5) It was a Nazi Treasure that Recluse/Statesman liberated from the Axis when they were still friends.
6) The Clock Tower itself is just a Ghost.

Hmmmm...
Ok, first thing I'd suggest is a reason for the Villains to work with each other. (Once you've got over the 'here's the parcel you asked for' and 'I want to destroy the world so I can rule') There needs to be a fixed reason WHY Villains would be there.
So....
It's a Clocktower. Perhaps it's not just any clocktower, but a totem of power. We all know that Recluse's Victory is a Time-Shift Paradigm, but he needs people to know about this and a way to keep an eye on all the newly Destined.
Therefore, he sends his most trusted servants, and perhaps the vagabonds who cheesed him off to look after HIS Clocktower, both as a memorial to what he hopes to acheive and a careful eye (and hand) on the Newly Destined.
Of course, the RIPpers don't know of it, but they suspect, as do the Snakes and others.
And perhaps...just perhaps...
There's a REASON why the Clock Tower is so important to Lord Recluse, something he'd never let anyone know about, but something he NEEDS to protect.
So as Galaxy Girl was a meeting place for good guys, The Clocktower could become a guard place for the bad guys.
I'm sure Mr. Normal and some others may be popping down. -
