  2. Yhe main battle's raging in Chapter 29, yeah sue my non-conformity, 'Name to be decided' has just dropped a house on Cameron, but Clara-Ann thinks they're both still in there. Cameron seems to have the upper hand, but there's a sudden appearance by what?

Must try and make sense of this.

    Oh and post 8000 btw

    HOW FRUSTRATING!

It's most of the way through day 2 and I still haven't written anything!

I was struggeling to think of a reasonable start, walked the dog, thought of one, got back, was about to write, then my best friend's recently dumped girlfriend rang up. YOu can pretty much workt he rest out. Surfice to say, my day of writing has been brutally murdered! However, I will not sleep until I have written stuff.

Oh man! Stop scaring me with your daunting counts!

Read the Dare threads. Perfect. Or Adopt a plot.

In fact : Write a story about a Villain that gets wrongly arrested. What is spending time in the Zig really like? What colour are the pillows? WHo are his room-mates? How does he buck the system? What is he actually guilty of?

What strange song is whistled late at night when everyone else is asleep?

    Catz Comicz

Well, I have faults with this for 3 reasons.

    1) I am superior. Everyone knows that. Well, everyone of value.
    2) It's not just blondes that love me. Everyone does. Well, everyone of value anyway.
    3) I have a substantial brain and oooh...shiny....*pounces*

  5. Most people can write 50,000 words in one/two hours a time. Busy people can usually find a lot more free time to work in than those of us with holiday etc. as we've always 'More important' things to be doing, like feeding the cat etc.
Like Stase said, one girl did it in 40 hours. There's been many success stories of people having a little 'me' time in the loo, writing on a notepad.

In the end, all you get is a novel. That's worth a lot to a lot of people; and just words to others.

Similar thing with a level 50 really. Or a season ticket to the Foxes.

I should be writing, instead I'm informing Stasis on literary knowledge. I won't embarress her by saying what I've had to correct her on though.

You are wrong though. He wore all black and kept his face hidden behind a false beard. We all know what that means. Ninja!

  8. Ugh...it's the nights that are the worst...Just woken up and my Editor is picking faults in everything. [censored] you. Rotten pedantic self-loathing fragment of my psyche.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Lusca is actually a family of octopi.
  12. [ QUOTE ]

Still pondering what direction to take the story... psychological and paranormal thriller/mystery?

I could make a suggestion, but Stase would hit me

My first 2 paragraphs from my story are indeed up, titled Everybody's Changing after the song by Keane.

*puts hand up* I actually like the Underground Strangely enough though, DW, Z, Stase and myself have all novels in London, though at differing times.
  14. I keep backtracking and deleting/re-arranging things I don't like, and I'm slowly deleting my word count. Dammit.
  15. Any clues on how to get rid of that damn pedantic editor on your shoulder? ALready deleted a couple of hundred words
  16. I found that Quilla, but if you go to the non flash page, you can see the full thing. I love the flash bit though because it makes my novel feel like a book

Oh and it was originally 'K' Chiefy

Proper MI5 please - need to know what geographical divisions they operate under and what a Greater London section head would be called.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Not a problem

The Security Service, more commonly known as MI5, is the UK's security intelligence agency. It is based in Thames House, London. The Director General of the Security Service is Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller.

This might be good for rumours

Of course, there's 546 of these on the bonfire atm.

FBI,CIA and the KGB are easy. Funny how MI5 is so much harder.

    But there's always Wiki
  18. [ QUOTE ]
Chugging through first intro scenes. Anyone have any proper information about MI5?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Fake MI5 or real MI5? The Professionals would come close, if not I can probably find some websites?

Also NaNo has a forum for just such purposes
  19. 1905 words and I'm stopping at a nice place. There's an excerpt up.
  20. Mad dreams producing mad words. No more posts til I'm done.
  21. I've just had an idea for two more stories and I want to write all three...I can feel it starting again...

Not to mention the 31 pieces of crockery already piled up around my chair....
  22. My story starts with the protagonist waking up, so I'm gonna start it at the same time. Share the mood as you will. Gonna spend today getting the house into a state where I can work for a month and not get food poisoning, again.
