Opted to craft the Spiritual Boost first for my Rad/Rad because after an ITF an Kahn TF I had more than enough shards/components for it. Also because until I finish the last two purple sets I need my new build is a few seconds short of perma-AM/Hasten. I like it so far, especially on teams.
Working on the Musculature Boost now. More damage ontop of AM + Assault + Vigilance looks like fun. -

I just grabbed the Elusive Mind accolade and Vanguard Psi Shield for those tough psi damage situations.

With Alpha Slot info posted, and i19 around the corner, I was wondering how the defender community will Alpha Slot their different builds.
My main is a Rad/Rad/Power. Thinking I may go Musculature for the extra damage and tohit debuffs. Spiritual is tempting for the extra rech, but with an already perma-AM build I don't know how much use I'll get out of it. -
With SO slotting I usually 3-slot any click mez protection power, just to cover rech debuffs.
With IOs, 2 level 50 common recharges is fine. Especially if you've got global rech set bonuses. -
Not a bad start. I can really only echo what Psylenz said.
Other than that I would personally take the Numina and Regen Tissue proc out of Radiant Aura and put them into Health. I'm also a big fan of putting as many damage procs into Neutrino Bolt as I can. -

Quote:Tooth's signature grin is what most people remember him for. My roommate has been making fun of it for years and cracked up when he saw the drawing Deebs did.really like the hairy dude, his monocle is awesome, also love the cheesy grin on Silver Tooth. How do you get such clean lines? I'm having a hell of a time with that.
I really liked to sparkle you added to his smile in the drawing you did, Cyrsei. Definitely added character to the piece. -
My guess is sometime after i19 goes live. Perhaps even after the new year. Before then we've got the Halloween event, then i19 (pure speculation), and finally the Winter event.

I like any brute build I can SMASH stuff with.
-
I'm currently running a Stone/Invul and he can take a beating. Fault takes care of anything that may actually hurt me, and all my knock up/down keeps everything flopping around.
-
I do wish there were more RPvP events, as I enjoy both quite a bit.
DJ Shecky from The CAPE radio held (still holds?) monthly RPvP events that were a blast. Lots of people would show up, party, and throw down. No one cared about winning, losing, or how their builds measured up. I brought my PB to the first event, which is a rarity since you never see khelds in the zones. The idea was to have fun, and from what I saw the majority of people did.
I think a lot of the reluctance to RPvP comes from mindset. People do put a lot of time into their characters and become quite attatched. They don't want to enter a PvP situation and see their beloved characters beaten. -
Was actually booted from a team for doing this. Was playing my hero Stone/Invul brute and the team was running along fine. I'd jump in first, get a bunch of fury and use Fault to stun the mob for my team and everyone was happy. Except the tanker with the star. He stops me mid-second mission in and says I should let him take point. Not thinking it was a huge deal I agree and the next spawn the tank jumps in and immediately faceplants. The rest of the team and I finish up the spawn and then the tank kicks me from the team.
Anyway, not to derail the thread too much. I've been having a ton of fun with Invul hero-side. Lots of smashing/lethal damage there and you're practically immune to it. Though it can be rough on the blue bar at times, but that's nothing end reduc slotting and IOs can't fix. -

Lead pool for sure. Have been trying to squeeze Assault and Maneuvers into my Rad/Rad build since the Vigilance change but couldn't decide on what to cut. Now I can stack even more +dmg and have another spot for a LotG +rech.
-
I can't seem to play corruptors and dominators, which is odd because I enjoy defenders and controllers a lot. Just something about those two ATs.
-
Neat idea.
Thugs wouldn't work so well. Whoever playing the Arsonist would have to get used to dying every other group.
Plus you'd have to find somebody to play that one minion that always runs into melee. -
Got my Loyalist blaster rolled up. DP/MM. So if you see Jason Akita running around feel free to stop him and chat it up.
-
This is exactly what I was thinking.
-
Rolling a Stone/Invul brute in Praetoria to eventually go blue with.
-
Thinking about rolling a DP/MM blaster for my loyalist. Ran into a few snags when coming up with a concept for him.
First one being the pistols. Aside from Maelstrom I haven't seen a single loyalist using pistols. They all prefer the power gauntlets. Granted the resistance uses guns (at least they look like regular guns) but shoot energy. I know BV on the resistance side has dual pistols as well.
Then there's the fact he's /Mental Manipulation. You'd think that would land him in the Seers program, except the Seers are only female. Though male psi users exist in Praetoria (just look at the Syndicate). I'm guessing since he's loyalist and psi he'd wind up in Powers Division.
Another is the name. Was considering a super-heroish name at first, but the more I thought about it, the more it wouldn't really fit in. Everyone in Praetoria goes by their real name. For the most part. -
As of now Praetorians can't form or join SGs. They have to wait until they leave for the Isles or Paragon.
