I remember seeing Pyrodactyl around in Champion yesterday or Friday!

The weekend is not over but I have to now do all the work I've been procrastinating all weekend. Here's what I've gotten done.

NOTE: Coming into this, I had 3 characters at Level 34, and 2 at Level 28. Weird!

Windmill - KM/WP Brute - Level 28 -> 30

I have too many characters in the 30s. In total I have a Level 38, 37, 36, 35, 35, 35, 32, 30, 30.

I am still embarrassed about last night, dropping the nuke on accident and whatnot...

Apex is my favorite, for the Battle Maiden battle. Its really NOT that challenging if you watch where the hell you are going. But its challenging just enough, in that it makes you move around and take caution instead of standing in one spot and button mashing.


Katie is my second favorite, for Mary Macomber battles. SO MUCH EXPERIENCE. Seriously, I think I've leveled so many times in that mission. I love it.


Aaaand I can't remember who gives out the TF (Renault, I think?) but the one that ends with a mission on the Sky Raider base is a lot of fun.

I didn't think Trapdoor or Tin Mage were particularly tough AT ALL...unless going for Master of Tin Mage (the Dodge badge is pretty darn tough!).




Apex's Battle Maiden battle is hard, yes, but amazingly fun. Its my favorite TF for that mission alone.

I'd say BMT because I didn't even know Champions United existed until this thread.

HURRAH.

It's been 6 years and I still....

- ...get lost in some Longbow mission maps.

- ...hate the Circle of Thorns four-story-cave-room-of-doom.

- ...can't figure out how to play my Level 31 Rad/Rad Corruptor without running out of health and/or endurance after one minion.

- ...haven't really been to Warburg or Recluse's Victory.

- ...haven't memorized the Ski Chalet courses.

- ...cannot control my desire to make new alts (currently at 34 characters on my favorite server).

- ...get really excited when I first get a travel power on a new character (even with the Level 6 travels).

- ...haven't played a Kheldian.

How did you get that menu screen colored purple, Dinah?



I don't have screenshots but mine is listed in order from highest level to lowest level. If characters are the same level, then its whichever one I am most likely to play.

Except for my 50s. I only have three: Silent Spy (Hero), Tinkerhell (Villain), and Extrasensory (Hero). That's the order they are listed in, and that's the order of who got to 50 first; even though I play Extrasensory the most now.


EDIT: I have something like 32 characters. To give an idea of my level ranges, the first page is Level 50 down to Level 26. Second page is another Level 26 going down to Level 7. Next page is Level 6 to 1.

I'd say Steel Canyon blueside, since Imperial City is so damn gorgeous, I almost didn't want to leave Praetoria just to fly around those buildings some more.

Redside I would say Mercy Isle or Cap au Diable. I really hate Mercy Isle, since its a pretty HUGE map to travel across for such a low level zone (and when you die the hospital is ALL the way across the map), but that's more of a logistic reworking than a graphics....so Cap au Diable would be nicest to see redone.

I seem to be having this issue again, and have had it last night. It only seems to be happening at nights, not having any issues at day.

I run on a Mac, so don't have .exe files to tamper with.

I finally connected, woo! Its something you just have to wait out, I've had it before (though it usually doesn't go past #2 or #3). Just curious if others were having the same, or if there was a reason it was going on tonight.

Anyone else have issues getting through the launcher tonight? I've been connecting for a while, tried rebooting but that didn't help.

I don't have frontal screenshots of any of my other ones, so here's my Lv5 Fire/Fire Blaster. His name is Rebel With a Cause (and his badge title is "On the Waterfront", lol)

I'm in the Praetorian tutorial on Champion server, logged on as soon as Champion got up, nobody else is in the zone, or in any Praetorian zone at all (according to team finder).

Am I the first Praetorian?

The game is up. I can log into Freedom and Pinnacle and create Praetorians on those servers, and its the live game.

Most of my characters actually use Ninja Run/Hurdle now. Its such a great combo. Its not as fast as Super Speed/Super Jump, but considering Ninja Run comes automatically and I tend to get Fitness Power Pool anyways, its much nicer than getting a travel.

(I also have 6 year vet badge, so I end up picking Fly [w/o Hover] at Lv30 to get to heights I can't jump to.)

1. All Heroes train up at Miss Liberty at Lv50.

2. My order of getting to 50 "must" be Hero, Villain, Hero, Villain. A pattern like that.


(NOTE:: In six years of playing, I only have THREE 50s, a hero, a villain, and then a hero. So these rules are more of a minor pattern/trend than an actual rule.)

They really should lift the fog again. It would be pretty cool if there were a Task Force or something against the Banished Pantheon that upon completion lifts the fog for an hour or so.

I've been strongly considering re-rolling Phantoma Storm (Ill/Storm Controller) to an Electric/Storm Corruptor.

He tried to make observations on a subgroup by experimentation. His experiments proved that if you continuously piss people off, people will be pissed off. It was written in a way to make it seem like the reactions people had were exclusive to online-gamers, but its not.

As soon as he started to interact with online-gamers by annoying them, he broke whatever is "natural" for online-gamers and turned any reaction they have into something forced. So any threats made against him weren't for no reason, it was because he was digging for them. He wanted those threats so he can have something to write about, twist it, and make it seem like something specific to City of Heroes.

Try continuously cutting the same guy off on the road and that guy will have a similar angry reaction.

No? I haven't been around for the past month so not sure if I missed any news or updates about beta.

Does anyone know if closed beta for Going Rogue has begun yet? I'm a 60+ month veteran (started in August 2004, and haven't stopped paying), Loyalty program, and preordered the game, but I haven't gotten an invite if its open?
