Chapter II: Trapped
-~Radevil~-
Help!, screamed Radevil.
The cave has completely piled on top of her. Her legs were pinned down by the rubble and her upper body was stuck in a niche in the ground, with one arm also pinned down.
Help me!, she cried.
Radevil broke into tears, knowing this will be her end.
-~Silent Spy~-
Silent Spy looked around in the Crey Industries lab. Her friend, Surgetron, was hanging from the ceiling by his feet.
Silent Spy quickly freed Surgetron and tried to resuscitate him. After two minutes, he woke up.
What happened?, asked Surgetron.
Its okay. Youre with me., said Silent Spy.
No. Youre not okay., said Surgetron.
What do you mean?, asked Silent Spy.
Surgetron blasted Silent Spy with a powerful bolt of electricity. Silent Spy was send flying backwards and into a wall.
Silent Spy quickly jumped up and ran towards Surgetron. As she ran at him, she went invisible and jumped over him. Once she was behind him, she jumped into the air and kicked him in the back of his head and back flipped off of him. Surgetron fell to the floor.
He then hovered up and blasted a ball of electricity at Silent Spy. Silent Spy quickly made herself invisible and intangible and allowed the ball to go through her body and hit the wall behind her. She then jumped at Surgetron and tackled him to the ground.
Countess Crey then barged into the room.
I knew you werent dead yet., said Countess Crey.
Suddenly, Statesman and Sister Psyche ran into the lab. Statesman punched Countess Crey so hard that she was sent flying across the room.
Are you okay?, asked Sister Psyche to Silent Spy.
We followed you here., said Statesman.
Surgetron stood up and blasted a bolt of electricity at Sister Psyche.
Statesman quickly throw a lightning bolt at Surgetron, knocking him down and paralyzed.
Sister Psyche, Statesman and Silent Spy began to explore the lab further.
-~Radevil~-
Somebody, please, help me!, she cried.
There was no answer.
Radevil had been trapped in the cave for at least four hours.
Help!, she screamed.
Radevil tried to use her powers, but nothing worked. She began to run out of oxygen.
Hello?, she screamed as she began to lose consciousness.
-~Werehound~-
Im alive!, Werehound shouted as he stood over the dead body of Chief Longbow agent Jackson.
He looked around him. He was in a pile of rubble with fifty Longbow agents staring at him.
Prepare to die!, yelled Werehound.
Werehound grabbed a piece of the rubble and threw it at the Longbow, knocking down twelve of them. He the ran at another group of Longbow and started punching them and throwing them as he was getting shot, but they didnt affect him.
Within five minutes, all the Longbow agents were defeated.
Werehound began to walk towards the woods, his home.
-~Silent Spy~-
Spy, come here., said Sister Psyche.
Silent Spy walked over to Sister Psyche, who was looking through a window in a door.
Silent Spy looked inside.
There was a man with his brains exposed and was walking around.
Oh my!, gasped Silent Spy.
She quickly opened the door.
Hello., said the man.
Hi., said Silent Spy, realizing she may have just made a mistake. She quickly turned around but the door slammed shut.
Who are you?, asked the man.
Two robots emerged into the light. The robots pulled out guns and aimed them at Silent Spy.
Dont kill her yet., said the man. Who are you?
I am
Silent Spy.
In that case, open fire.
-~Werehound~-
As Werehound ran through the woods, he noticed four Crey scientists walk around. Werehound had to go undercover
but how? Slowly, Werehound felt his muscles begin to contract and shrink. He looked at his hands. His monstrous hands started becoming more and more human
He returned to his human form. He was James Dean, a nuclear physicist.
Hey, doctor!, shouted one of the Crey scientists.
Yes?, said James.
Have you seen anything
unusual lately?, asked another scientist.
Like what?, asked James.
A giant
plant., said another scientist.
No., said James.
Suddenly, a vine fell out of a tree and wrapped around two of the scientists. The vine was then yanked into the air, and the scientists disappeared. Another vine grabbed one of the scientists by his feet and dragged him off.
Run!, yelled the last scientist as he was pulled away by a vine.
James ran for his life as vines crawled after him. James quickly climbed up a tree and noticed that he was becoming Werehound again.
No, not again., James said as he was turning into a wolf.
The transformation was complete. Werehound jumped out of the tree and wrestled with the vines. He tied them all in a knot and ran out of the woods. On his way out, he noticed a part of the ground that seemed to have collapsed in.
He heard shouts coming from below.
Werehound began digging until he pulled out a body.
It was Radevil, but suddenly, her body was teleported away.
Werehound looked around. A vine fell from the trees and grabbed onto him and pulled him up by his arms. As he was being lifted, he wrestled with the vines and broke free, but the vine wrapped around his neck and hung him.
Werehound quickly teleported himself away.
-~Silent Spy~-
Wait!, screamed Silent Spy.
The robots lowered their guns.
Before you kill me, can you just tell me what is going on?, asked Silent Spy.
I guess it wouldnt hurt., said the man. My name is ZapperScurge. I suppose you are wondering why my brain is exposed
well, I tried to copy the intelligence of the hero, Surgetron, but had this as a result. Anyways, Countess Crey has hired me to set up a program that will disable all super-powered being from using their powers. And so far, its a success. We are launching it in two nights, and there is nothing you can do about it.
Oh. Well, in that case, kill me., said Silent Spy.
The robots shot at Silent Spy. As she fell to the ground, she used the emergency teleporter to teleport herself to the hospital.
-~Netherflare~-
Netherflare woke up. It was dark and she was stuck in some form of a case. She didnt have enough room to sit up. She felt around her and realized the shape of the case
she was in a coffin!
Netherflare began to run out of oxygen. She tried to push open the coffin, but it wouldnt budge. She knew she couldnt use her powers or she would burn herself to death.
After about twenty minutes, Netheflare felt herself begin to die. As she began die, she used the emergency teleporter to teleport herself to the hospital.
-~Silent Spy~-
Silent Spy looked around in the hospitals teleportation room.
NeoRadiation?, asked Silent Spy as she approached a hero that she recognized.
Silent Spy?, replied the hero.
Where have you been?, asked Silent Spy.
In the hospital, just finished recovery., said NeoRadiation.
A teleporter sounded. Then another one sounded.
New comers., said NeoRadiation.
Two heroes emerged from their curtain. It was Netherflare and Surgetron.
You., said Netherflare to Surgetron, coldly. You killed me! You will pay!
